For Manga Undergrounds release thread go here (http://mangahelpers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9544)!

Well, I'm not that familiar with Manhwa (korean equivalent of Manga) but this one is really an interessting read and according to Dark Horse the Manhwaga (Mangaka) Ji-Hyoung Song aka DOUBLE-S is also the artist of Until Death Do Us Part (http://mangahelpers.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=385).

From what I know so far is that the classification of Manhwa is similiar to the Japanese one (Sunjeong = Shōjo, Sonyeon = Shōnen and Seongin = Seinen/Josei) and I personally would consider this story as Seinen aka Seongin. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The images are adoreable. Ji-Hyoung Song's character design and also the drawings of technic stuff and action scenes are just great. Who can draw cool looking dudes with sunglasses like that? Just hot! I think I can consider this guy as my favorite korean comics artist :smile-big

Have fun! :luv

The manhwa is called XS and not XS Hybrid. Hybrid is just the name of the first volume. :)
On other hands, there is already another thread about XS. Yours is more informative though.

Original Thread (http://mangahelpers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9544)

So please include my thread or delete this one. Thanks!

edit: Actually, I hope it's ok when I copy some of your stuff in my thread.?! :)

Thank you, seems I got confused with the way how Dark Horse (http://www.darkhorse.com/profile/profile.php?sku=13-978) wrote it's info. Sounded much like the name of the whole series there ("XS Hybrid is an exciting new series ... blah").

Hm, I used the forums search a few times without finding your thread :blink

Anyways, we usually don't have the discussion threads inside of the scanlators boards, so I'm going to keep this one and include yours as XS release thread, ok? :)

*goes changing her post* done.

Sure, all for the sake of promotion :clap :clap

And thank you for doing this project, I really enjoy it.
Unlike Manga which I always buy in Japanese, I really think about buying a German release for the first time - no way that i will ever be able to read korean >.<

@Darryl: Did you say we have to read from left to right?

I don't recall doing the same for Until Death Do Us Part?

Why is there this difference?

XS is a manhwa which is to be read from left to right, while UDDUP is a manga (serialized in Young Gangan). It's the same korean artist, but the writer of UDDUP is different (japanese) guy.

XS
writer: Ji-Hyoung Song
artist: Ji-Hyoung Song
original published in Korea = Manhwa

UDDUP
writer: Takashige Hiroshi
artist: Double-S (aka Ji-Hyoung Song)
original published in Japan = Manga

Ok, it's been AGES since anyone was working on this, and I did the translation for volume 5... and I kinda want to see it completed!

I can provide the translation & GERMAN Raws, ch28 has been done by HAO and MU. Might need some tweaking though (should talk to HAO about that!). But from chapter 29 onward you can "basically" do what you want. I rescanned Chapter 30+ and uploaded them on mediafire. Hmm... What else…? Credits where credits are due, maybe you can let me go over it before you release it?

I‘m available if you have any questions (translation & “raw”-wise), I can rescan some pages, but I can’t do anything about the dust, sorry, the paper quality/my scanner is awful. Some stuff has been proofread (by I dunno anymore), but you better check again.
