This was a great episode. I'm not sure if I'll be looking forward to next week or not though. Next week looks like its really Team Gai heavy. I guess I'll wait and see.

It's been a while since I read the corresponding Manga chapters, so I was all like "That's not an unfullfilled dream, Sasori dies with his parents hugging him! :)" and then they all collapsed :(

Really good episode that works out just fine without any great animations. The intenseness of all the characters involved is just perfect.

But what beats all the Sasori moments is the little scene where they show Sasori's ring. Tobi incoming anyone?:D

Sasori was the only good character in the Naruto anime in a long while. I just love how Kishimoto ended his life, dying in the arms of his puppet parents. He couldn't be close to his parents when he was young but with that hug/kill he can be close to them in death.

It's nice to have an important character that doesn't have the overdone "he grew up with no friends!" sentimental shit shoved down our throats (Naruto, Haku, Gaara, Various filler characters)

Well, I'm a bit disappointed because I was expecting to see the MS from the last three episodes, and now they have shown it only for a sec in the end. Plus the next seems to be about Gai's team, so I bet we will see it again only in a couple of weeks.
Sasori's death was great in the manga, adn so in the anime too, but it was an episode with a lot of chit-chat and no fighting (good thing, since the animation is so bad), but since

I guess so, Sasori was a little similar, heh.

I don't think it was originally shoved down our throats, but we've seen that scene of his parents hugging him so many times in the anime that it was a little bit tiring at this point! :) I wish they had done it differently, oh well.
