It's not sensei's usual style, but I like it. It looks like those old portraits you hang in the corridor of a big haunted mansion and their eyes move and follow you when you walk past. LOL. Mukuro's would totally freak me out if it really did that.

The bookmarks show the front (Leon, X symbol) and back (Reborn, Tsuna). The posters are definitely a bonus with the character book, but the bookmarks come only with the first printing.

Sometime this week, when I go pick up my magazines, I'll update with the rest of the guardians' translations. XD But, just to summarise what the rest of the ads tell you about the character book...

- A short story written by the Reborn novelist. From the excerpt, the story will be about Fuuta immediately after the Kokuyou arc, where his ranking abilities were damaged by Mukuro.

- All kinds of trivia will be revealed. Like, who sent Gola Mosca to the Varia? How many cups of coffee does Reborn drink in one day? What was Yamamoto's secret training in preparation for the autumn tournament? Who is Longchamp's new girlfriend!?

- New data will be added for all the character profiles.

Yeah but it's the japanese style to forget a few year because "younger is better, and after 20 year you are already old".
If I had to give an age for shonen character (in Reborn for example too) it would be most of the time 16/17 (16 for Tsuna and his classmates, for me bianchi would 20 year old at least).
At 14 you are a way too young to look like they are in manga at 14 :s.
But ho well it's a manga :p .

lol I totally agree with that Kokuyo statement you just said, really fucked. But I'm more disappointed about Mukuro's age, I really expected him to be older.

This is just a educational guess but Hibari's probably 16 or 17.

I went to pick up Jump today, and came home with the newly released character book. *_* It's gorgeous!! The cover is not printed on glossy paper, which explains why all the pictures of the covers don't look as crisp.

Apart from the usual things you'd expect from a data book (character profiles, chapter analyses, etc.) and the posters and bookmarks that have already been mentioned, these are the new content:

7th Column (Actually, I think it's supposed to be just 7 Columns but whatever.)
This is a section of 7 columns, one by each of the Ring Holders, discussing part of the series.

1. Storm - Gokudera shows some never-before-seen sketches by Amano-sensei! Some are character design sketches (e.g. Byakuran, Lal, Chikusa) and there's a sketch of young Dino, Mukuro and Belphegor originally intended to be the poster included in the novel.

2. Lightning - Lambo teaches you some Italian words. Of the very useless sort. Like fart, and octopus head, and Extreme Idiot... Basically, all the insults people throw around in the series. XD; Bovino Cretino.

3. Rain - Yamamoto lists another 55 peripheral characters that have only been mentioned in passing or appeared in a chapter or two in the series. Who knows? Maybe some of them will appear in the future too?

4. Cloud - Hibari rates the "Crowd-gathering degree" of all the Vongola's various rituals.

5. Sun - Ryouhei and Lussuria discuss the various uniforms that have appeared in the series, including the Nami Jr High uniform, the Kokuyou uniform, the Varia uniform, etc.

6. Sky - Tsuna reveals some of Fuuta's secret mafia ranking data. Like, the top 5 people with the most mysterious face. (1=Mammon, 2=Belphegor, 3=Cervello, 4=Skull, 5=Gola Mosca)

7. Mist - Mukuro interviews Amano-sensei. @_@;;; By the way, if he were to be one of the Ring holders, Amano-sensei wants the Sun Vongola Ring. ;)

Novel
The short story written in collaboration with Koyasu-sensei is 危険なボーイミーツ... ("Dangerous Boy Mitsu..." I think). It's a story about Mi-kun. After I read it, I'll give a summary.

Sorry, I don't want to bend my book to scan anything. ^^; I'll update later with translations of the past 3 weeks' ads in WJ. Once I finish translating 164.

Well,There's an interview of Amano-sensei with her/his fans in the radio.
There's one fan that ask about Amano's gender & Amano just answered it with a clue that made the fan who's asking more confused.(Even through Amano's voice when talking,the fans still don't know what gender Amano is cause the voice is between male or female,that's what the fans said)

A friend had a collection of mini reborn characters and I found this one to be the coolest.

Not too sure where exactly he got them, though.

All I know are rumours too, much like the ones bunshin already mentioned. ^^ Like Hoshino-sensei, Amano-sensei deliberately hides her gender, because in a country as Japan, their gender could cause them to lose fans in the shounen manga genre. Same with Ooba-sensei (who wrote the story for Death Note), and Hotta-sensei (who wrote the story for Hikaru no Go).

Anyway, among fans on the Internet at least, more people believe that Amano-sensei is female than male. With the success of their series though, I really hope they'll be more confident now and will appear in public sooner or later. Hehe.

So happy that I even bought the gaming system! When I pressed the buttons, I was touched when the characters move and spoke.

1. Why did you decide to be a mangaka?
It may seem uncool, but I was pressed for employment!

Comfortably! Also with a bit of accessories.

Eating out with all the staff members. Everyone’s a good kid.

Every week when a deadline approaches, “uh oh!” or “oh no!” repeatedly, but right before the deadline, it changes to “oh well” or “yup, can’t be helped”… that’s not really a habit is it?

8. What does Amano-sensei do to eliminate stress?
Stress is gone at once when I go to old temples or shrines surrounded by nature. Hundreds or thousands year old trees calm me.
