Would You Be Interested In A Reborn RP Here?

I was just thinking, with the amount of people using this board, and varied views on the characters, it'd be an interesting time to have an RP.

Simply put, each person would get a KHR character, probably within some realistic timeset (all present day characters, with fresh story to it if wanted), and get to weave together a story from the individuals standpoint.

For those who don't know, an RP is role playing, where people... well, role play characters in the thread and so on.

Those in favour say aye, those who know it's a bad idea say Nay!

The main question would be whether to all have established characters (with potential arguments available there), or create a new set in the reborn universe......

I'm quite used to playing pen and paper role-playing games, so I don't care. I can create my own character pretty easily if I need to. But be aware that, if I must roleplay as Lambo, I'll be even more annoying than the original one :D

we have about 600 years (until Tsuna becomes the 10th) of vongola history to exploit ^^ or we could go into the future (then we could use rings and boxes)
all we need is rules and a way to decide battles
possible parties would be

Core famiglia (boss+guardians this should be the main judges)
Varia
CEDEF
and millions of made up famiglias

and we could have cervello players determine who wins by the use of detail and fairness as users conduct their battles.

the cervello for the fights would probs be a random choice from those not involved..,
those are my basic thoughts anyway

a member of here pmed me to say he can help make a forum for it, and it'd be less cumbersome to have one there, so i'll try and keep ya updated on it as we go.

and so far it looks like we could actually have each member from here take up the roles in their sigs. assuming noone would utilise those positions as some sort of superiority.

thanks we just made the forum yesterday so its going to take us awhile to set everything up
but i just added the basic structure of how the rpg will work here i'll put it here in spoiler tags cause its kinda long

I'm thinking u will start off inside a family like the Vongola or another family name when u make your rp application and from there your character will work there way up the family until they become boss or someone important in the family or they could split from the family and create their own family or even join up with another family. There will probably be seven family's at first to coordinate with the Flames like say u join the Vongola Family then ur character will have to have the orange flame

and i don't think any of the characters from the manga will have any relation to the rp u know to prevent people from being the child of Tsuna/Kyoko or even worse Tsuna/Gokudera
I (Krompt more so than me)have had the unfortunate pleasure to learn that there are people crazy enough to put that in their rp application


ok ive thought it out a little bit and i think this is how the main setup will be

flame control
intelligence

u can join one of seven families at the start which will most likely be
The Vongola Family(orange flame)-are allies of the Bovino and Tomaso families are enemies with the Millefiore family
the vongola family are able to use the orange flame and correspond with the sky
are best at using weapons that are powered by their flame
have even attributes
able to use the rings and boxes that belong to all other flames however can only use half of the rings and boxes strength
have no real weakness against any specific type flame
their attacks work evenly well with all other flame users
the boss of this family holds the Ring of Sky

The Bovino Family(green flame)are allied with the Vongola family
The Bovino family are masters of the green flame and correspond with Thunder
have full control over rings and boxes that use the green flame
their attacks are strong and efficient but don't usually last long
their attacks and weapons almost always involve the properties of thunder
best attribute usually involves defense
worse attribute is stamina
have an advantage when fighting indigo flame users
weak towards blue flame users
their best combo is achieved with a red flame user
worst combo is with a yellow flame user
The Bovino Boss holds the Ring of Thunder

The Tomaso Family(Red Flame)former rivals with the vongola family now are considered allies
The Tomaso Family are masters of the red flame correspond to The Storm
have full control over rings and boxes that use the red flame
use ingenuity and thought in their attacks combined with lots of practice
they are proficient with projectile weapons
best attribute is flame control
worst attribute is defense
have an advantage when fighting blue flame users
weak against yellow flame users
best combo is with green flame users

The Tomaso Boss holds the Ring of Storm

The Chivorone Family(purple flame) are a neutral family
The Chivorone Family are masters of the purple flame and correspond with The Cloud
have full control over rings and boxes that use the purple flame
their attacks are merciless and relentless
use blunt weapons to attack
best attribute is usually stamina
worst attribute is flame control
have an advantage when fighting yellow flame users
weak towards indigo flame users
best combo is with a yellow flame user
worst combo is with a indigo flame user

The Giglio Nero Family(blue Flame) are one half of the Millefiore Family along with the Gesso family are enemies to the Vongola family

they use illusions to full their enemy

The Gesso boss holds the Ring of Mist

The Millefiore Family(yellow flame)They are combined by taking the best of the Gesso and Nero Giglia families, they are enemies of the Vongola Family
The Millefiore Family are masters of the yellow flame correspond to The Sun
have full control over rings or boxes that use the yellow flame
Their attacks are completely straight forward relying on power
they typically rely on their own body to hurt their opponents and are usually skilled martial artists
best attribute is attack
worst attribute is intelligence
have an advantage fighting red flame users
weak towards purple flame users
best combo is with a purple flame user
worst combo is with a green flame user
The Millefiore Boss holds the Ring of Sun

ok and when u create a character you'll will get a bonus five attribute points for joining one of the families(with the exception of the Vongola Family) in the area that the family is best in so say u join the Tomaso family u will get an extra five points for flame control however u will also lose 3 attribute points in the area your family is worst at so again if u join the Tomaso family u start with +5 flame control attirbute points and -3 stamina points

another topic is u wont go up in rank by just getting stronger
to gain rank you have to be promoted by the boss in your family
and when u go up in rank u automatically get npc followers and each rank u go up the more followers u have under u grows

to split apart from your family u must have been promoted at least once
another way to earn promotion is to fight a higher up and gain their spot however u can only fight someone one rank higher than u and only if they agree to the fight, however u gain no followers when u do this and some ranks aren't allowed to be challenged
also u do not lose your rank for losing a fight to a lower rank

when u split apart from your family u can either join up with another family assuming the boss lets u join or u can create another family however u must have atleast five other members to create a family of your own and u must pick a leader before u are approved then newplayers will be able to join your family
also the leaders flame color will determine wat kind of flame new players must have to join your family so say your leaders flame was red then all new members flames that join your family will also have to be red another factor for making a family will be to decide who they are allied with whether it be the Vongola families or the Millefiore families or if they are a neutral family
one last thing about making a family the Boss's last name will be the name of the family

The main plot of the reborn rp will be involving the The vonglola family vs the Millefiore family

there is also another group that players can join called the Acroblaneo basically their a neutral group wit X stats who aren't allowed to take part in combat what their role is to do is to train the bosses and higher ups in every
when a player becomes a boss they must throw away their weapons and let their Arceblaneo tutors create their weapons
so basically they will be the tuners in reborn

ok well i think thats a pretty good start for right now and i dont know how much of this i will end up keeping so don't get upset over anything in here

Its nice to know that there is a Reborn Rp being done in other forums, as modding a RP board firstly need a good structure and lots of good modding, and at this moment, it is something that MH is shorthanded with.
