Oi , Pjoto you lazzy bro... seems like you didn't find any good tutorials since the last time.
stop playin' with those filters ... you can do better it's just a matter of being patient.
Coloring is not as hard as it seems .
Look what i've done as a fourth attempt and it don't even have a digital tablet

Sorry about not posting any tutorials, but I didn't really find any good onces.. I just play around in Photoshop and try different things.. I only use Photoshop 6.0 without any extra filter-crap.. they all suck.. I think like this: If you want an effect, you should find a way to do it yourself, instead of downloading lots of crappy filters that look the same way every time you use them..

And enzomars, God damn, that's a quality picture! Seriously, it's just about perfect!
Kinda looks like Link from Twilight Princess with the hair, the cover-picture :p :)

And yeah, if I ever decide to color anything again, I'll use more than 30-45 minutes or whatever it took :p I just wanted to try and make a good chidori effect, and I think it turned out great too actually :p :)

I'm gonna attend a private Graphix-design school over the summer, so I'll be learning just about everything about every drawing-program there is, so maby I'll come back with some überhaXx0r psycho pictures later on :)

this may sound weird but, i think if you put the text "CHIDORI, THOUSAND BIRDS" above the chidore effect
it will look a little better. since it is from a panel in the manga it should still be readable?
just a suggestion, it looks good now too

uhm, the text was already there in the scanlation I had, and I dont have the RAW.. If I did, I wouldn't bother having the text there at all.. :)
