Now the NBST does mostly Naruto scanlation and occasionally One Piece.
We started off as a two man team back in February-March 2006.
since then, the NBST has seen all manner of shakedowns and power struggles. We gained a few mwmbers and We lost many as well.

But we're still around. and probably will be for a while.

you know what would be cool... if we had two 4-man ninja teams, the other would do Naruto and the other One Piece and we could even rotate to keep the motivation high. too bad some guys are missing every now and then so we just have a random number of cleaners available.

Katakana and hiragana are really easy to learn. who would have guessed with all that cliché that japanese is a tough language.
at least now we'll get the ALL the SFX done properly.

I'd like to personally thank you for doing a SUPERB job with the FMA scanlation. I hope you continue to do it because that was a much better chapter to read in HQ. You guys rock. Oh, and I sincerely hope that you get your own freelance translator. That would make life easier would it not?

I have to ask this. You guys are the Naruto bunshin scanlation team and are probably part of the lack of translations for one piece problem (by contributing to its popularity and such not that its bad but it is to further my point, really) but you have the no translations for one piece thing in your sig. If you want one piece to get its fair shake, then why not drop naruto and do one piece. (btw, i do agree with you and i wish that naruto wasnt so popular so that other series could be recognized. 5 fuckin translations is over kill)

there is a stable source of One Piece translation from arlong parks forums.

i just want to spike up interest in One Piece on mangahelpers. like a few months back. or maybe get a couple of weekly translations.

is just a suggestion. not a demand. taking everything to the first degree can be bad for your health(except for burns). I still am doing One piece scanlations. but i'm usually a couple of week behind the current chapter. i have OP406 to OP425 at various stages of completion. Dunno when or if I'll ever be able to complete em all, so i don't release em here often.

true, I've always preffered One Piece over naruto. But the NBST is a group formed by individuals who had far too much free time and who came together via the Naruto Bunshin Forums. hence the name and the reason why we can't drop naruto.
