Wow Orochimaru looks like sasuke after being scratched by Naruto I never saw that in the manga, but was cool.

Personally I thought it was better than any shippuden ep so far but not as good as the manga portrayed the fight so far becuase it took a while before Naruto actually started fighting Oro (he was just standing there 3-tails straring at him...i thought his anger would make him go beserk).

But I do like the artwork of the 4 tails, very cool. Though for a one hour episode it didn't progress through much plot.

I agree w/ Inkovic the pace is way to slow, it's almost like Dragonball Z where it takes 2 episodes to power up and everyone doesn't move while they comment on the increase of power happening! :p I also agree about the animation of the Four Tails, I was like Holy $#!+, thats awesome! That was the only part that I was impressed by, hopefully next chapter will be the best yet! Naruto Vs. Orochimaru! YEah!

Omg that "let's stare each others eyes" was just too long lol other than that good episode, very sad that it wasn't better than the manga as we used to get in naruto season 1...nevermind. Funny thing, they waited orochimaru to come back to continue their stuff...did they put him real far away in purpose so he'd have half the episode to come back? :D

Oh and i just love yamato wood defence jutsu, too bad they didn't put more intention to it (like receiving massive forest debrit on it, just to see if it's solid)

And it makes more senses in the anime on how sakura knocked her head on the floor.

Can't believe there is a three weeks wait for the next episode :(

This episode started off good then went down hill, After OTKNaruto hit Oro, I was like hell yea the fight begins ,then they just stand there.Flashbacks....did the Yamato backstory felt out of place to anyone?

Cant wait till next year ,thats to damn far though.

there we some really shabby spots but i can under stand why the threw in some lack of animation in some spots also this is low quality wait until the HD version before u make any to big of remarks. but if it is low quality art then its prolly due to them trying to save money for the big sasuke scene which i can totaly understand lol

and the animation was shabby This wasn't really the integral part. Well, the 4-tails transformation was, and that part was done very well. The real fighting starts in three weeks.

The scene starts with Naruto powering up, Orochimaru looks at him smiling, Kabuto glares at him with a smirk on his face, Sakura is at awe, Yamato and Sai are wondering what's happening

Scene two goes with Naruto powering even more, Orochimaru is still looking at him, Kabuto smiles some more, Sakura is having flash back, sai and yamato are still dumb.

Scene three Naruto still power up, orochimaru...you know the rest.

Now put that in a loop 15 times and there you have almost half of the episode.

Could they possibly drag it any longer without advancing the story? The answer is yes they could! By showing flash back of Naruto-Sasuke fight and some question-answer filler, they filled the entire not-even-two-manga-chapters episodes.

Talk about disappointment.

Leen part of the reason for it being split up is beacuse of how huge the file is and how limited most peoples upload bandwidth is limited, an ISP might give u something like 6+mbps download speed but you might only get something like 400kbps upload speeds

it could be considered "economical" to split the file up and upload them

This episode was ok ...Animation still needs some work....I dont why but Naruto animation does not seem to be good...Bleach's animation is awesome....
Whatever...... they have covered 3 Manga chapters in 1 hr..still slow pace but better than unwanted filler episodes..
Next episode should rock like episode 26 when there was 10 pupper Vs 100 puppet fight .....They should atleast have good animation in fights...

I would trade in this whole episode for 10 seconds of the fighting they show in the intro. And when Orochimaru was walking back from the forest, did they really have to show him walking the whole way back to the bridge in real time?

I was really looking forward to this episode, didn't figure they could fit an hour with nothing but powering up. Hopefully the next episode is better.

At least the pacing in Bleach is still normal. It's a shame because I like the plot of Naruto more.

That should work for ya. I used it's sister site, Bleachstream.com when I wanted to start watching that series. I think the Naruto one has some dubbed ones in there instead of subs, but for the most part it's pretty good.

Goddamit, this is the slowest moving episode yet. I can't believe so little happened in an hour (or 43 minutes whatever). There was a long moment of Naruto and Orochimaru staring at eachother that lasted for five minutes until something actually happened. It's crazy how they actually feed people this hour-long special episode crap when it could probably all be shown in less than ten minutes without losing anything important.

Agreed. The whole bit with Orochimaru walking back to the bridge took at least 5 minutes on it's own, with the whole staring and flashback bonanza taking about 10.

And people say the Bleach anime sucks. Well I'm sure enjoying it right now a lot more than Shippuuden.

This was the most ambivalent episode so far. I was permanently switching from "nice show!" to "hell no!".
Dunno why you guys complain about the animation, this was the best we've seen in Shippuuden so far. All those nice moves, reduced 2-tails lipstick, 4 tails transformation, Kyubi growling, Sai passing by the falling Sakura, Mokuton, Orochimaru...
4-tails was really well done and I always love the Kyubi-in-his-cell scenes.


Well, and then there were those scenes that ate up 60% of the episode, 3 tails Naruto staring at Oro. Kyubi roaring at Oro was so freaking nice but after that Naruto was still 3-tails and they continue staring for another 5 minutes...
Hell, this episode could have owned so hard if they simply sped things up a little.
I was satisfied when Sakura got knocked out after she asked "Hmmm what might be happening with Naruto there? Is THAT the Kyubi chakra???" for the 3rd time. No, it's ketchup gas streaming out of his nostrils :darn

Well the pace was slow but It didn't disturb me at all. Because there were good things in this episode (the start, the bridge breaking down, kabuto blown away, etc...)

I liked that they showed us the four tiailed naruto and imo it's way better done (surprisingly better than in the manga) than the 1-2-3 tailed naruto (which I liked more in the manga)

The animation has been one of the betters in this shippuuden series and I wonder how it will be next episode

DAMNIT, building us up for this hour long episode and here I am thinking we're going to get a huge fight, wrong.

The Rescue Gaara arc was dragged on so long I couldn't stand it; pulling a DBZ on the story from the manga. However, when this new arc started up they were actually moving along at a fairly fast pace, not throwing in alot of filler. But then you arrive at perhaps the most anticipated fight/part of the story and they go right back to DBZ mode.

Just watched the episode, it was too slow. I can't believe how many flashback it had. I thought we might see the 4tail attacking Oro, but all we did see is it's release. Can't believe the next episode it 3 weeks away. :)

The first episode had some pacing issues and okay-ish to good animation.
The second episode was epic. Not only the transformation, but all other small and lesser scenes were handled very well. (even Yamato jumping on top of the tree, for examle...) I really hope the other animation-teams will reach Team1's quality in the future.

Next one looks good. Hopefully they won't drag the fighting too much.

These flashbacks weren't that interesting. I am not sure whether the part with Yamato and Jiraiya came earlier too. I must say, that I was really happy when Orochimaru flew through the forest, cause I really hate him and the fourtails was really good animated but some things are not really logical. Why had Yamato first Problems to hold the bridge but the wall to protect his clone just stood there afterwards without being released?
