This is also one of the oldies, so bad cleaned, but I think I cleaned it a bit better this time. Made two copies for better results.
Anyways, here's the source:

And the result (after tons of hours worked on it):

Comments, feedbacks and tips are welcomed!

P.S: after my 5th coloring, I'll stop "counting" it in the thread titles. =D

Really well done! I started on one of those old scans but I just couldn't bother cleaning it. You did it very well though! Keep it up!

Very good job, very realistic! You have a good eye for color, it seems.

Thank you!
Now I don't know what to color though.. I think of coloring the 2nd chapter's cover.. (I've started to reread the manga, so I can find some good meterials :D)

I really wanna color all of the "cover stories".. (Buggy side story, wapol's, enel's), but there are really bad scans of the early ones. Well, I'll see what I'll come across while rereading the manga.

On request i comment this too^^

Hmm I've got nothing to say really, but you get better with every coloring. You are doing a great job, the only thing you need now is practice^^

Thank you! :D
I didn't understand how to work with the blur tool though.. Do you mind explaining it to me?

January 04, 2008, 05:46 PM
Hmm ok^^ I'll try it...

You have your shadings in different layers, hmm lets say. You have a layer for the base color and one for the shadings. Now you can place the shadings(different colordarknesses(?) ) in this layer, you don't need to do it as exact as you do it without blur tool, but they habe to fit somehow.

Now blur, blur blur^^(you know I have the german version, I mean the tool with the finger)
Use as many layers as you need, and maybe you should work wqith folders, this helps a lot in organization

Yeah, try it^^
