great idea Boffen..but erm...is that all to your story? or is the post missing an ending? anyway, karasu's stories were really funny! just goes to show we can never be too careful about what we say to ppl. I shudder to think about 'dissing' someone only to find out the person i'm telling it to is their family member!?! :o[br]Posted on: 12 June 2006, 17:54:15_________________________________________________@ karasu: is your mum, cousin's wife and your gf all of the same chinese dialect? if they are, chances are that there is a link. ancestors came from the same village. :smile-big

um.. dunno..apparently they don't speak chinese anymore.. but i guess they come from the same chinese race/clan... khek, i think..[br]Posted on: June 12, 2006, 04:22:22 AM_________________________________________________

A couple of years ago, in the middle of the summer, me and my friend linus were having a mini LAN party.

your friend's last name wouldn't happen to be Torvald, would he? :D
lol..that story is great.. i can imagine the old lady's face... shocked out of her wits
any hot stories with the hot sister?

Then, for some odd reason, the tree frog decided to leap...into my mouth! For the life of me, I'll never understand why it did that. To this day, I have slight problems dissecting amphibians for biology...and I blanch when offered frog legs.

i would've had phobia trauma if that happens too..
i hate frogs too...
it's an indonesian myth i think that some frogs can pee/spit at your eyes and blind you..
maybe that's the source of my fear of frogs..being told myths like that all the time..

And Tanuki, that's weird 'cause Jabbs and I were talking about tree frogs being used for poisoned arrows just last night, and then I read that story O_O At least you weren't poisoned XD[br]Posted on: June 13, 2006, 08:54:48 AM_________________________________________________* * *

@ Tammy, very well written story! XD It started off similar to the one you posted somewhere in the 25/50 Things About Myself Discussion thread so I thought it was the same story at first, but it wasn't. Well, I can imagine that could happen to pretty much anybody though, but you've just inspired me to bring some pillows when I travel the US myself. I'll just sleep in my comfy jeep when I can't find a decent hotel XD

Actually, this kind of thing happens fairly often. XD
I'm really active , I do alot of sports and stuff, and when you couple that with bad luck, well...the result isn't very good. But thanks for the hug ^.^

I am so sorry LadyHatake...talk about bad luck. o_o

Thanks for the cookie. I love cookies. When I called my parents and told them what happened, they just sighed. They weren't surprised a bit.

This is the first time in about 3 years that I've broken a bone though, so....I think my luck might be improving. At least a little bit, anyways.

I had broken my ankle. So, I had just left my doctor, and I got to see him all over again.

poor thing :blink did the kids/their parents apologise? is it the same leg you had the knee injury? hope you'll be up and about very soon! :turtle

yesterday i got my finger injured ( :thumbs this finger).

hope your finger recovers soon :) maybe you could use a rubber glove while at work. it'll help to keep your finger/bandage dry. what happened to the LOTR sig? that was really hilarious :smile-big

poor thing :blink did the kids/their parents apologise? is it the same leg you had the knee injury? hope you'll be up and about very soon! :turtle

Yeah, the parents apologized REALLY profusely. They felt so bad. The kid was crying, too. It made ME feel bad for having upset the kid (I don't deal well when people cry. I just don't know how to handle it). No, My right knee is the one with the tendinitis. I broke my left ankle. Or, more specifically, the very bottom of my tibia, which in turn chipped off part of my talus. I have to wear this cast for 6 weeks. Unfortunately, that means I miss the first month of field hockey season. Mostly I'm just missing the conditioning part of the season, a scrimmage, and a tournament. I'll be able to play before the first game of the season, which isn't until my brithday (Sept 3). I got lucky, as far as the game scheduale goes.

<3

okay following in the footsteps of Illuvatar and Ladyhatake. This happened 2 days ago.

....I turned around to my friend and said "See, that's why you should always bring a pair of sandals." and BANG...i fell hard on both knees. I had missed a step, didn't see it when I turned around to brag. I'm still hobbling around today, bruises like oranges. Moral of the story: Don't brag :smile-big
Moral of the story: never turn around while walking :D
Hope your okay. What's with everyone on this board getting injured? lol!

...suddenly the doctor turns around and says to me "you can't mean Kyubi can you?". i was like this :eek that man knew of Naruto. we was reading it and also had all of the episodes (and i mean ALL of the episodes - even the fillers)
my visit was to take at least ten minutes. i stayed there for one hour speaking with him about naruto :D :rofl

OMFG! :rofl LMAO! That's the greatest story ever! I wish my doctor knew of Naruto. If I'd said I had a fox demon living in me he'd of had me committed to a mental hospital! lol. I bet that made your day, didn't it? Friggin awesome. :)

You sure showed those druggies a thing or 2.

I'm not familiar with the legal system in your country but its possible the police will charge them with: -
1) Drug possession
2) Drug trafficking (The severity of the charge on these 2 counts would usually depend on the type and amount of drugs they had on them at the time)
3) Causing hurt with a dangerous weapon.

if charged and those 2 decide not to plead guilty, the matter will have to go for trial. you may have to testify as a witness then.

It will not work. The only thing that will stop me from doing a karate on him is to not see him. That's why I always evade him.

I wasn't really thinking much about other people. Just me and my siblings. Especially me, and also my Play Station 2 wich I imagined under a pile of rocks. T_T
I just helped the girls stop crying, but that's pretty much it.

WOW! So cute!! I miss my cat soooo much! :wtf

i had this cat that we likened to call and sit on the couch with us. and his tail was like cut off (it was cut off naturally by him being born like that) and it had a crude shape. the bones in it were crooked and that tail of his can't even wag properly like most cats do when they do their tail stuff (aw you know what i'm saying). anyway, we always teased him when he gets on the couch by playing with his tail. we'd play with his tail and threaten to straighten it then our cat would go berserk on us trying to claw our hands whenever it gets near his tail. the funny part is, we always do that to him, but he always sits on the couch with us whenever we call him. :Haha

sorry had to post it here. it's not a different story per se and since we were talking about cats... XD

@baxteristic: that guy is annoying! if i were you, i would have kick his sorry ass so hard he'd wish his mom and dad never met i'd just stay away from him and call the police about him being annoying or being disturbance to the campus surroundings. dont get into stupid fight, it's not worth it.

@ryk: wow, i hardly breathe when i read your story. i'm glad u and ur friends are ok, the pictures on the links looks scary. there was an earthquake in my country several months ago and my ex-gf was in that town (while i'm on another town). i was freakin' out trying everything to know how she was doing. finally managed to get in touch after 28 hrs later, she was ok though, that's a good thing.

@ILUVATAR: Awww, that is so cute! I miss my cats, I havent been home for two weeks now, working on a side project.

Thanks for reading! :XD Last time it happened was a few years back when I was home from college for Thansgiving break. A bunch of us we're sitting around playing "A-Hole" (a drinking game you play with cards) and my buddy's girlfriend (who was younger than us) says, "Hey, was it your class where the kid booted all over everyone during the music recital?" She has the facts wrong, so I said, "Sure we were, but it was actually only during the reheresal, and I was the kid who puked!" We all had a good laugh, but she kept looking over at me like I would start puking at any moment. :XD

Aisha: try praying real hard. usually helps to overcome the fear and scare whatever that is away. :D

@kashi: Well, shrimps are crustacean and squids are molluscs. and that's the only thing i know about them aside from the fact that they make great food. :XD

You can try reading up here:

I ran about 139 miles that summer. I remember because if you got 150 miles, you got a tee shirt, and I was pissed because I was 11 miles short of the shirt.

And ya, running super suxor. I mean, you have to be outside. With people and whatnot.
