I was once again touched by Shiina's handyworks. Zettai Karen Children will be his greatest works since GS Mikami.

From the preview of 222, The Children has been sleeping well after exhausted from the earthquake rescue operation. The thing I curious is that...will Feather live with the Children's/Minamoto's house or stay in BABEL?

PS: By the way, the way Feather out of energy and return to bird form remind me of ULTRAMAN's 3 minutes warning XD

Not sure where they got their info...but according to the link in Spikey's post, it's being handled by the same team that did the TV series. So there's nothing to worry about.

I doubt Kaoru will be succeed in one shot. I bet she will take more time to change her style^^ It's time about MAIDEN VS OYAJI in a final round(!?), or the battle will continue on until high school arc^^

What can I say...
It's well done and everything... great art (extremely close to the manga) , great animation, great actions scenes, and , ah! there's no sign of fanservice or sexy shots (aside the pool scene... but, come on, in this day and age you can't call that "fanservice" :amuse). This fact really surprised me because is a common habit in OVAs to put as much fanservice as possible.
However, the story... it really goes straight to the point but , well, you can tell at the first glance that Shiina's hand wasn't there: aside the fact that both Fujiko (and that's a crime!) and Naomi are missing, ther are things here and there that felt like, dunno, kind of "meh" (in particular, the tank thing).
Other things to say... the staff changed Nai's esp, from "teleportation through shadows" to something that looked like mio's and kazura's power mixed together.
Last things.. both the "English lesson with Shadow Of The Children" scene and the eyecatch cracked me out and put me in the worst possible state of depression ever at the same time (you know, for the second season thing...)
and the ending sequence was really nice! Loved the first shots of The Children at the beginning, and there's a scene from "Esp is on the Test" too!

Now please somebody announce the 2nd season, onegai! :darn

I kind of hate these announcements about buying xx thousand copies unless no second season. 20k copies of such an oav means it in the top 10 sales. Is ZKC Oav so good it deserved to be #1? I doubt it as oav like this are just meant to mantain some degrees of popularity in between seasons of for manga readers. That announcement just sound to me as an excuse not to make a second season and blame it all on the fans.
I just can immagine JC Staff: "Aaaw we just made 19.990 copies, too bad our fanbase isn't motivated. Let's find some other cow to milk"
If they just say it clear and loud they don't want to make anotker season for whatever reason it is, fine. But now, if they don't make it i, for one, am going to boicott any JC staff and Shiina product in the future.

I hated it when some other company didi it for Negima and im'm hating jc staff now.

Actually, the blu-ray ranked 8th (the 1st position sold more or less 20'000) and the dvd sold ~2000 copies .

Also, this OVA is sold with very little bonus to justify its price: in fact, the so called "Limited edition" is still available and at C78 the OVA was sold at a lower price (~25% off).
Last thing, we're not talking about an unquestionable masterpiece :amuse ... no, to put it bluntly, even I could have come up with a better story.
