Zero One by Oku Hiroya (v03)

I read this manga at onemanga called zero one, its about a game. Basically the main character plan to participate in a tournament to beat this boy he despises. I've read up to chapter 41 and got left off at a huge cliffhanger, and i noticed that the status is completed when it pretty much not in my opinion. So i googled it to find out more, but well i couldnt find anything.... SO im hoping someone here would be able to fill me in.

EDIT: also take note that the main characters suit is very gantz like o.O

EDIT2: bleh i just noticed the mangaka for gantz and zero one are the same, and since gantz is being realease on a bi-weekly basis im gonna assume hes stopped writing it or something ><

Zero One is complete, the manga wasn't successful so it ended. Next work of the same mangaka is Gantz, which is still running and it is a very big success and a wonderful manga. You should check it, if you like Zero One probably you'll love Gantz.

Even if the end is abrupt, I think the manga has a sort of end and I consider pretty common for mangaka to finish their work with open end. So I think Oku chose a point to end Zero One, which wasn't a successful manga.
