Yeah, I usually get them from Genesis the same day when it is out^^ ... I know it's not a extraordinary Manga, but I really like it.

The french site is this: http://www.sdkpowaaa.com/spoil/scans-trads.htm (french translation!)
And here are the last chapters/volumes translated/scanlated in english: http://www.hana-mi.net/mibu/trans.html

I prefer to read it in a proper order, but I already peeped at some later raws and I caaaaan't wait to read the last one :darn :darn :darn ... Genesis lacks of help (Editors, QCs), so the scanlation is a little bit slow, but I'm so glad that at least they're doing it :)

I love this manga. I believed the scanlation was one man effort, so I was glad they continued to go out, I didn't know they formed another group.
Did you see the anime? It has an end, and the development of the plot is different from the manga. But I don't know if it spoils the end of the manga or it reveals some secrets, but I believe it does that.
There are a lot of volume in those site, unfortunately they are too distant from where I am.

I'm not sure. Didn't Mangass started the scanlation and the founder of it continued as Genesis scanlations? :blink ... I'm not paying that much attention to the groups, sry^^

hm, I don't know. 307 chapter in 26 episodes? That's not possible without a lot of changes, hm? :blink

Only thing I know is, that the background behind Kyos and Kyoshiros Co-existence is different in the anime. But I don't know the end or how much the anime spoils. Just watched a few episodes, then my exames started and I hadn't enough time to continue it. Animation, Seiyuu and OST were nice, but I'm not a big fan of different developments and I don't want to spoil myself any further. So I will re-watch the whole thing when I finished the manga.
The anime is ... ehm ... dunno ... love it or hate it, like the manga. I know some people who hate the anime and love the Manga and I know ppl who love both or hate both - I don't know anyone who loves the anime and hates the manga, btw.

Probably I pay less attention than you, but I read something in a page in the manga, but I thought the founder continued alone, not knowing he started another group. Maybe when I started reading SDK, that already happened so I didn't saw a slowing of the release and I didn't notice that until I reached the last scanlated chapters. However it isn't so important. :D
I saw the anime because I was stunned by the first episode, so I have to see the rest. I didn't mean that the anime is better than the manga or it didn't skip events, but only that seeing it I think I caught a glimpse of the way the manga will go towards the end. And even if the anime isn't exceptional, the end is interesting, I think many could like it.

no group has finished scanlating all 32(iirc) volumes they are around vol. 13 or so right now...
for myself i wait for Heyne (german publisher) to release the volumes ^^
they publish one volume per month and their quality is really high.

Ok, I know this page. But they mix scanlated and raw manga, so you have to pay attention to this :amuse

Take a look:
http://dpaschen.free.fr/sdk.jpg

Vol1-13 and vol33-37 are scanlated ones. I'm not sure about vol38, but it should be incomplete like vol13. Genesis (http://www.genesis-scanlations.com) is currently scanlating vol13 and Hana Mi (http://www.hana-mi.net/mibu/trans.html) is doing the upper ones, currently 30-32 in progress.

So, vol28 is japanese, vol29-32 are chinese and vol14-27 are missing. It's not complete there :)

sorry about that then, i guess i said that it's done since i only need the scan from vol 33- 38 since that's the only volumes that i need to complete the series

Genisis (sp?) is still working on it. But I stopped getting their scans since Tokyopop is ahead of them and has been since I started reading this series. Tokyopop has released through vol 20.

Tokyopop has released through vol 20.

Heyne (German publisher) has realesed volume 9 yesterday. But I can't get familiar with the German translations, so I stuck with the scans^^

SDK ch 109 by Genesis is out, btw! :luv

Hey guys I'm new here and I just wanted to say that Genesis is currently understaffed, do you know of anyone who has worked before as a Quality Checker?

I just feel really bad for them. I myself has no clue how to be a QC otherwise I would have joined. *sigh*

Welcome to MH, Teeba :hug
Yeah, I know. They're also in need of a translator.

I've splitted the original question and answers for SDK downloads from the discussion, so we now have this as a nice Samurai Deeper Kyo Discussion Thread. And I've also edited the first post into a short introduction and release overview. Hope this helps to attract some more fans and support :P

//edit: Genesis just released chapter 110 :luv

Wow, that's really nice of you!

Speaking of chapter 110, wasn't that an absolute tear-jerker? It was a great chapter, I can't wait for my next fix the next chapter.

OMG ... yes, this chapter was just great. Gave me tears in my eyes as well ;___;

Btw, is Genesis website dead, atm? :omg

Teeba

Their subscription ran out. :( I checked the IRC channel, and they say that they might not revive it and stick to IRC channels.

The problem is, most people DO download from their website. And SDK wasn't the only manga they were scanlating. :s

Edit: Ok, one of the mods is saying that they might need to put the website back because of their FTP server...it sounds like a shakey plan. I think I'm just suffering from withdrawal. Unless I go out and buy the manga like a normal person.

For crying out i completely forgot about SDK after i unfortunately had to reformat my computer 2 or so years ago.

I am going to get the anime too. Any one know of an easy to get place (torrent with seeders) to get it. i am going to search on MIRC anyways.

Teeba
February 11, 2007, 12:16 PM
Hi venicia! I think all 26 episodes are available in torrent form, but the manga is hard to find that way.

I think you'll find a good ten volumes missing when it comes to the scanlated version. ^_^ I have yet to find a complete version somewhere. Good luck...and if you have any interesting results it would be great to know!

thanks for the head up. Thats why i intend to use MIRC or may be DC++ (although i have to get a bot with good speed).

But i found a torrent to the anime- it is slow but running. it should take about 1-2 days. Thats fine with me.

Did you hear it! The voice of the wind!! Mumyou jin porio-- :rofl

That's not complete either, look at the first page. The latest chapter is from Genesis (ch 120), then there's a gap till Volume 21 and above when Hanami did some chapters (mostly scripts, not everything is actually scanlated).

There's just no scanlation between the releases of both groups, only RAWs.
