good episode, I knew Sakura would walk in on Naruto and that chick kissing,LOL. Next episode looks pretty good, these fillers are actually not boring or just funny, they are interseting to watch.

maybe the filler eps reveal some more interesting facts... the thing with they guy knowing naruto is in pain is really interesting, as the thing with danzou observation, jealous sakura....

maybe the two share the kyuubi chakra, or they guy has another tailed beast inside... who knows

edit:just watched the subbed version. this episode wasn't all that bad. brought a little more depth on what these people want. and more on that theory with sora having a tailed beast, at one point, the older guy did that five finger technique on soras stomach. if you can remember back to the chuunin exam, orochimaru did the same thing to naruto. so that makes me believe it a little more. oh and after sora wrecked the place he had no idea what happened. just like naruto

Hmmm... they're planning to make things longer than I expected. Anyway, the episode wasn't good as the previous one.
This week sucks... First Sasuke in the chapter and then this crap... I'm done for.

As I mentioned in the opening clip thread, at the last few seconds of the new opening, before ataksuki stands there, you see the new baddies plus Sora standing looking over Konoha. Means either he's one of them - or they're all gonna turn out good and be part of his family/friends.

More likely than not - Naru will have to fight Sora again - but for real.

I still don't think they're gonna use a real bijuu in a filler... maybe he's got a lesser demon in him?

I liked the filler it has good story. They are inserting more background on the fire temple before akatsuki's swings around for a visit. So i kinda like it.

overall i think the ep. was pretty good... good action, good plot developments.. just a good episode.

i'm definitely glad the this filler arc is going to be one continuous story then a bunch of crappy mini stories.

I'm torn between multiple feelings with this episode. The episode itself was very good again, especially for a filler. But seeing as the Manga has so many awesome things to come and the Anime isn't keeping up saddens me.

Then again:
Just imagine if Sora had a tailed beast and Hidan&Kakuzu will be the ones capturing him (instead of the 2-tailed woman) in the end without Naruto being there.
That would actually make Naruto turn all badass and show his fight vs Kakuzu in a totally new light. I mean, they are already mixing up filler and manga material, and we know H&K will show up at the temple eventually.

The best part for me was when she was sucking out Naruto's chakra and it started to turn red. Her reaction was great. Clearly Kyuubi chakra is not all that tasty, and she's lucky she didn't get her lips and tongue melted off.

I do wonder how her powers work though. She seemed inexhaustible, and yet one small cut from Naruto apparently did her a lot of damage. It probably has to do with some kind of price she pays for her powers.

i voted good but i dont like where this filler is going , sora is turning into a mix of naruto and sauske , and once again he is part of team 7-_- that s getting a bit old , and they better explain why the kyubbi can call ot to sora('s inner monster) in a way thats not lame and or kills the manga storyline.

If you watch this ep again - 61, as Kyuubi calls out to Sora, the eyes look the same as in the opening clip.

These villains seem unstoppable but they are still gonna get there asses kicked. That girl who's trying to make out with Naruto is truly amazing. Next episode is back in Konoha and it looks like theres a battle royal, cant wait to see that

You know, I'm not all that looking forward to betting back to the Manga timeline. I want to see the rasen shuriken as much as the next person, but we're going to have to suffer through torturously slow episodes of characters standing around while the wind blows. Arrgg it took them 35 episodes to get through the rescue Gaara arc. 35!!. At that rate even if they started the Hidan/Kakuzu arc now we wouldn't see any action until next year.

i agree it was boring snd it will be sence we know what will hapen and i dont care about asumes death and shikamarus fight was short and not lot of action in it i mean its just about smart tactics and thats it
the fight i want to see is naruto kakasi vs kakuza now thats full of action

I think it was a good episode. I'm not to thrilled to see that Fuuka, the girl who fights Naruto, can use all five elements. Now it's not going to seem so shocking when Kakuzu enters the storyline. Also, the animation for the next episode looks like it's going to suck.

I agree that fillers have to rely heavily on humor to keep viewers interested. Nothing bad with it though, as long as they don't drag it too much.
They also make an interesting point - that lesser demons are sometimes seald in people too (at least that is what i understood about Sora). Sometimes it seemes that the nine most powerfull ones are the only ones that exist there...

Just saw the last two fillers......I must say....they are way way better than any previous ones...and funny too.....I'm actually enjoying watching these fillers......and naruto got some action ....even if the kiss tried to kill him....haha...he got to 1st base.....lol

I think the writers made an effort to have the space for filler episodes this time around and the result - they're not too bad! At least not in my opinion. These have been pretty good and funny. And it's interesting how if you're a fan of the manga, just how much the fillers foreshadow into the future for the anime (which has already been discussed in the manga). Like, Kakuzu's elements, and a creepy old man talking to a young man with special abilities (Madara & Sasuke vs. "The Ancient" & Sora).


ALSO - anyone remember the manga/anime "Samurai Troopers"? It was out in the late 80's or so, and came to the USA and around as "Ronin Warriors". The writers here took a page specifically from that series with "the Ancient", as mentioned in the spoiler. I mean, to a "T"!!! The white hair, the staff and the clincher - in the end, the hat. If I had a pic, I'd post it. But just you-tube Ronin Warriors and look for the Ancient.
