Naruto's next GOOD fight

I don't feel like Naruto (the character) has had any good fights since Shippuden began. The fights against Itachi, Deidara, Orochimaru, and Kakuzu all seemed short/boring to me. They haven't shown much development whatsoever. I was very surprised that in the 2 years Naruto trained with Jiraiya, he did not show him any elemental manipulation (especially considering the fact that it only took him a day to learn it when he set his mind to it!).

Before the timeskip, I really enjoyed the Naruto fights against Zabuza, Kiba, Neji, Gaara, and Sasuke. I have been looking for the enjoyment I got from those fights from the start of Shippuden, but have been disappointed so far.

When do you think the next GOOD Naruto fight will be? I think it will be against Pein, but I don't expect it to be for a while. In fact, that may be one of the last fights before the manga ends. I'm still waiting for Naruto to reveal some bad ass move he learned from Jiraiya (aka "that jutsu") at some point, though I wonder why he hasn't shown anything so far. You could argue that he hasn't been pushed to the limit yet, but if he wasn't saved by Kakashi/Yamato in the Kakazu fights, he would likely have been defeated.

The only other potential foe I could see for Naruto is of course Sasuke. I think Madara will face off against Sasuke at some point.

The only fight i'm waiting for is Naruto /Pain. As it might happen at the end of the manga , I'm willing to wait a long time.

I'm pretty sure Naruto vs. Pein and Naruto vs. Sasuke are givens, so those should be pretty good. I guess Naruto vs. Zetsu could happen, but I have a feeling Zetsu will fight one of the lesser seen characters (just a feeling). And who knows, with Kirigakure getting involved, we may have some new bad guys to fight. I agree though, Naruto's been neglected. The only decent fight he's had in Part II was against Itachi.

I think the next good fight will be Naruto vs Sasuke, the inevitable battle we have all been waiting for, Naruto vs Pein should be good too, but I think Naruto vs Sasuke is comming first,

I dont think naruto's next fight will be againts pein because pein is too strong for naruto and would easily pawn him. Of course they could fight but it wouldnt be "a good fight".
We also know that hawk is going after the last demon host so I dont really see a naruto vs sasuke fight any time soon.

since Akatsuki is hunting down Naruto now, I'd actually see Kisame fighting Naruto next up, and I bet it would be ok even though most of Naruto's fights turn out crap :/

To tell the truth I dont see naruto fighting kisame. Kisame already has history with gai, has shown to be waiting for his oportunity to get even with his since the fights againts the clones.
The only current akatsuki that naruto can hope to beat if he is really lucky right now IMO are konan and kisame. I would like to say zetsu too but we havent really seen his abilities as a fighter.
Although if naruto uses the demons power he would most likely win.

What makes you think Sasuke vs Naruto wont go peacefully ^_^. hahahah but yeah. I dont think Naruto will be the one to take out Kisame. Hed take out Madara before isee him doing away kisame.

Suigetsu already has his blade set on Kisame. So Most likely Naruto will test his strength aginst Zetsu.

beyond that... eh, Lee usually has decent fights but now that we already know about the gates it's not like his fight could surprise us much without him having a new ace up his sleeve. Which really is a pity, cuz I do like him a lot. What I would like to see most of the other shinobi, though, would be a team battle. Like, if Lee were to team up with Neji to take on 2 other shinobi, I'd be ecstatic.*

*Note: I do mean an actual team battle, where they would use complementary moves and combo attacks, rather than them doing their own thing in the same panel, ya know?

Taka is going for the last demon host while akatsuki deals with naruto, so technicaly even if naruto and sasuke meet, sasuke has no reason to fight naruto. Also when sasuke attacks konoha he would be going for the elders which means sasuke even has reasons not to waste his time fighting naruto.

Thats why I believe Naruto will go to the mountain where he cannot be touched; and when he returns his next good fight will be against Sasuke.

Well I see Naruto vs Sasuke more nearing the end of the series if anything. As it stands, poor Naruto doesn't seem to have the stuff to face many people. Kishi didn't really want to work his power over the timeskip as much as he did Sasuke.

True, but Zetsu is so mysterious, to tell you the truth I think if Naruto were to fight him right now, I think he would die lol, Zetsu has that ability to warp from place to place something like Madara just a bit slower, I dont think Naruto could keep up with that.

We wouldn't know until they fight(if they ever do). I think people overexaggerate how much speed help you in a fight in Naruto and underestimate Naruto speed.

Well its not like a matter of speed its like litarally warping around, Zetsu got from Pein's village to the Itachi vs Sasuke arena in seconds, thats like the speed of sound, if Naruto cant land a hit then it's not a fight anymore, its just Zetsu beating the crap outta Naruto.

We don't know how it works yet. I'm sure it have some weak point. Also my point is this: How many time have we really saw speed determine the outcome of a fight? (Beside Minato and maybe Lee). My point is that Kishi usually ignore speed in a really fight. He might show once in a while during a fight but most of the time it not a big deal.

Yeah I think they were good also, but what I did not like about them (mostly the Kakuzu fight) there wasnt as much (and the Kakuzu fight there was no) actual fighting as opposed to the Jiraiya vs Pain and Sasuke vs Itachi fight, I like to see physical combat once in a while lol I could watch DBZ for all of the fireworks.

Why would Itachi give Naruto a weapon to use against Sasuke? I was under the impression that Itachi wanted to help Naruto HELP Sasuke, also, what reason does Sasuke have to attack Naruto if his target is Danzou? And what reason does Naruto have to attack Sasuke if Sasuke's target is Danzou, who is threatening the village??

I think that if they are going to fight agian it will be as friends. Either that, or it will be a show, just like it was for Orochimaru. Sasuke only attacked them back then because he had no choice. He knew that Orochimaru would suspect him if he didn't pretend to want to kill them. But yet, he tells orochimaru that he doesn't need to kill anyone but Itachi at that time, and he DOESN'T kill anyone, and he doesn't let his teammates kill anyone, so for what reason does he want to fight with Naruto if Naruto is not going to be fighting to protect Danzou?? He already HAS Mangekyou.

I just think that people are taking Sasuke's words too much at face value, that's all. Either that or they just want to see either 1. Sasuke be converted to goodness by Naruto, or 2. Sasuke get killed by Naruto. I just don't see either of them happening. Sasuke has proven to not be a "bad" guy in the first place. And do you really think that Sasuke would want to truly destroy Konoha after Itachi sacrificed so much to ensure its safety? Don't you think he might be putting up a front for his true enemy, Madara? Handing the 8 tails over to Madara and Pein would essentially be like killing them, right? Do you think that Sasuke will all of a sudden just start killing people?? And do you think that he would really let them kill the guy he admitted was his best friend?

But once the fight begins, naruto will always be on losing side for a majority of the fight, and then get some special enlightenment and kick the opponents butt along with gaining something for himself in the process.
