Have anyone heard of Ghost Sweeper Mikami manga?
It is a great manga.. too bad the scanlations for this manga is not very active..
:(

Here is the synopsis for this manga:

Story

Overdevelopment and crowding in Japan has forced many of its indigenous spirits and ghosts to lose their homes. Due to problems caused by the homeless spirits, a new profession was created, the Ghost Sweepers (GS). Private exorcists for hire; they serve only the highest bidder to survive in the cutthroat corporate world. Among this, the Mikami GS Company, led by Reiko Mikami and her two assistants, the teenage boy Tadao Yokoshima and the ghost girl Okinu, is said to be the best.

The manga setup is scenario-to-scenario, with many plots intertwining classic Japanese culture and modern day realities, with occasional references to Western influences. In between these plots are some longer story arcs where new characters are introduced and the existing characters are further developed. There is no one ongoing storyline, therefore the plots are character-driven and serve to gradually develop characters, especially the main protagonists. Some of the main villains like the yasha Medusa and Astaroth are hard to vanquish and return after some time

I actually owned a bit of Mikami once but got rid of it...it was a fun series but I guess some of Shiina's style reminded me a bit somehow of Rumiko Takahashi: smaller arcs that build characters that you need a lot of tolerance to appreciate. I liked it...but I guess after a point it wasn't my thing.

I didn't say I wasn't interested. It was extremely fun probably from the beginning through the tournament arc...maybe a bit after that. (the one with Medusa and her minions and where Yokoshima got that special power from the Dragon girl). I guess it was more the stories after that (which I never really got the chance to read but a lot of which sort of didn't interest me like the earlier parts) that got me uninterested. If someone translated it, I'd probably pick it up from the beginning...heck, I'd even translate it myself if I had sources and some time after Bo-bobo.
