This is my first review, so I hope its okay.

Cover: A hint to manga reader in the direction where Kishimoto is heading??

http://i36.tinypic.com/119mbs0.jpg

The two purposes of this cover are:

-To promote the new Naruto Shippuuden Kizuna movie which should increase the ticket sales.
-To give us a hint that Sasuke will returned to Konoha with Naruto. Or Sasuke knows what type of person Naruto his and that he will be a good Hokage. So in the mean time Sasuke will take care of the twisted/corrupt noble and Danzou. And that would be Sasuke way of proctecting Konoha and kind of follow in his brother footstep. According Madara, Danzou and the Nobles are twisted and evil, but are they really?? Maybe Danzou is. Well back to what I was saying. This is not the first time that Kishi have shown that Sasuke still has feelings/ strong bond with Naruto (http://read.mangashare.com/Naruto/chapter-347/page013.html). So its not surprised for me when I see this cover.

The Rumble In The Jungle
Sasuke(George Foreman) vrs Hachibi(Muhammad Ali)
Location: Lightning Country(Zaire)

Coincidence or not that Hachibi speech sounds similar to how Muhammad Ali describe his fighting style.

"Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_Ali#Fighting_style)
I dance like a butterfly. (http://read.mangashare.com/Naruto/chapter-411/page018.html)I'm the 8tails I sting like a bee (http://read.mangashare.com/Naruto/chapter-411/page019.html)
This is not coicidence and Kishi has based some of Hachibi fighting style/personality after Muhammad Ali. You might think I'm jumping gun here, but I will give an explanation below.

Ali was best known for his fighting style which he described as "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee". Throughout his career Ali made a name for himself with great handspeed, as well as swift feet and taunting tactics. While Ali was renowned for his fast, sharp out-fighting style, he also had a great chin, and displayed great courage and an ability to take a punch through out his illustrious career. Ali also exclusively attacked the head of an opponent, usually ignoring a body attack. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_Ali#Fighting_style)

I know you might be saying that you can find other shinobi's that fit some of the description of Muhammad Ali, which is true. But I think when Kishi use a similar reference from Muhammad Ali he was trying to tell us something and all pieces of the puzzle add up in my head

Muhammad Ali is the only 3 times heavy weight winner in boxing history. For Kishi to based Hachibi on some qualities of Muhammad Ali is showing us Hachibi is one hard mother fucker to take down. Excuse my french. As it stand Sasuke is on 3-0 winning streak just like how George Foreman was on 40-0 winning streak until he was defeated by Muhammad Ali....Hmmm this might be a foreshadowing of how this current battle will end.

There's no doubt in this battle Sasuke will displayed his MS techniques or new power since he got a power boost. But that doesn't mean he will win. I know I'm going against the odds here and most people would say there's only a 0.001 % of Sasuke loosing, since he has Kishi's blessings. Just maybe, Kishi will give us a something unexpected. Please keep in mind Hachibi is the only Jinikuri that has been shown for atleast 4 chapters unlike the 2tails and 4tails.

PS: I'm not saying Sasuke portrayed George Foreman for the whole manga series, but only in this battle since Sasuke is sort of up against Muhammad Ali.

Sasuke doesn't know it yet, but he's still a puppet

The question that pops in my head, is Madara a idiot or genius at manipulating Sasuke?? I'll say a genius. I'm sure Madara is aware that Sasuke used Orochimaru for his gains. So I don't think Madara is not naive in thinking that Sasuke doesn't have other goals set aside and he's using the name "Akatsuki" to further his plans. Just like when it came to Itachi, Madara didn't reveal all his tricks and kept Itachi in the dark. So it all comes down to who's ahead by how much steps and I think Madara is a few steps ahead of Sasuke.

Why not stabbed Sasuke in the head, Hachibi??

ALi in the 1st couple of rounds in "The Rumble In The Jungle" came out fighting George Foreman

"Ali also exclusively attacked the head of an opponent, usually ignoring a body attack." If Ali did that in his fights, Hachibi should follow the same method. Most likely Hachibi wants to get iformation from Sasuke so he only hit the vital points. Sasuke is not dead. But the question on everyones mind, is it a genjutsu or kawarin. I'm tired of Kishi using these excuses, I want him to use something different to explained how Sasuke got out of this pinch. However since the sharingan users are genjutsu specialist, theres a high chance its a genjutsu. It would be funny if Hachibi knew he was already in a genjutsu and Sasuke's confidence will take a heavy hit. But as we know, no matter what Sasuke is always portrayed cool and confident in any situation.

Rating

This chapter wasn't good or bad, it was just okay. I would have like to see atleast 2-3 pages of Pain movements or Naruto training. But most likely Kishi will used the same method when focsuing from 1 scene to the next and keep us in suspense. An example is when Tobi encounter Naruto and co and switch to only Itachi and Sasuke fight or the same goes for the Jiraiya vrs Pain fight. Hachibi sounds like a promising long character, but in theory he won't be around long since Kishi for sure will make some of akatsuki goals be accomplished. Which would be getting all the bijuu therefore Hachibi will have to be taken out, but it doesn't have to be Sasuke who takes him out.

I rate this chapter 7.5/10.

I'm open to any sugesstions about my reviews. It will be greatly appreciated.

Nice review, I liked the references of the Hachibi to Ali, aside from the obvious one of "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee." I especially liked the Rumble in the Jungle references b/c wasn't Foreman the supposedly younger, stronger favorite (in this case Sasuke) and Ali the older more experience fighter (in this case hachibi-sama)? And who wound up getting knocked out? Why Foreman of course. Anyway I liked the comparison, it gives me hope that Hachibi-sama might be around for a while ;). Though my faith is weak :p.

Thanks

Exactly. George Foreman was said to be the favourite bacause of his young age. And at that time Ali was 32 but people in the industry considered it to be old boxing.

I kind of see why your faith is weak, because some of akatsuki goals or should I say Madara's goals should be accomplished. But Kishi might give us the unexpected.
