my bad i didn't notice that one pic with all the city building. where the hell is the hokage and the elite ninja of konoha. they always seem to allow there city to be destroyed before fighting back. they should all be on the look out for Pein since he just killed jiraya. how is konoha the strongest hidden village if its always being destroyed? another thing why does Pein need the biju's power if he can destroy the strongest hidden village by himself? something just does add up.

I believe Root will wait a while, Danzou will wait for Tsunade to die or to be injured and incapable of leading the village, then Danzou will interfere and try to push out Pain with everything Root has. If his works then the elders will be forced to elect Danzou as Hokage

that was your 666 post, konoha is surely doomed (not), wait and see Itachi name will be cleared Sasuke will be saved but an uchiha will die. Madara after seeing Pain in action must be one hell of a shinobi and must have either power on same level or jutsu that can counter Pains abilities but then again just one of Madara ability that body fazing...Pain may not even land a hit on him?.

Sarutobi sacrificed his life in hopes of ripping orochimaru's soul out. Pain just did it with little effort. Doesnt even seem like he performed any seals either

The Tsukyoumi last about 72hrs? THen they should have planty of time to make a plan in that deminsion. That's why Hachibis tentacle where about to hit Karin, to make sure that Sasuke could cut of one the tails wich the Killerbee going to escape from.

Don't kill Tsunade already ^^ she has the comunicator frog so she mostly will inform of the invasion the Frog-pa ^^ we dont know how long naruto's training is taking place (or is the time the same or 1day in real world = 2days in frog dimension) so maybe the scenes from naruto's training at night might be few days earlier...

Tsunade will fight and defeating pain is possible but if they split the pein group so other groups will fight each of pains body's that they wont see each other (and making possibility of evading jutsus)... Jiraya lost becouse he was fighting all 6peins bodys at the same time and each attack has been observed by other pein bdy and their counter attacked... even Jiraya was able to kill 1pein body while fighting all of them at once so its damn impresive

And well dont compare those low grade ninjas with our characters which we know since naruto part1 ^^ let's wait when Tsunade will be pissed off, along with hyuga clan, kakashi, ambu our characters ect. right now pein attacked from nowhere so everything is in chaos... we need to wait for them to arrive

I think that Tsunade might be close to death but naruto will arrive and be by her side till she dies (maybe she will reveal who his parents are in her last moments since she is one of those who knows and naruto will need some feeling support since he lost jiraya not so long ago and now granny-tsunade who is like his own granny for him)

Maybe pein's secret is to call back soul's and use the pircings as medium to move body's.... so maybe the soul that he ripped out will be used for some another pein body later...

As for naruto I think that his sage mode will be used for few things like protecting body (and bones) from creating and using FRS , protecting from Kyubi chakra which burns skin and makes wonds, creating pa-frogs jutsus specialy made for sage mode

as for 8-tails xD Sasuke screwd up and mostly madara is pissed off ^^ heh he run away becouse there was no pein ^^ and no hidan to lick blood and pirce if runs ^^ mostly to the action will enter kisame since it seems water is close

I hope we can see Anko or other jounins like Genma in action. According to the Kishimoto's interview, I believe Kakashi will be the next Hokage. Next year the story will probably focus on Kakashi and Sakura. I'm interested to see how Sakura will avenge Akatsuki for Tsunade's death and develop her own genjutsu. Remember? Kakashi said Sakura was a genjutsy type.

Also I really want to see how Tsunade will die since she can't really die in the battle because she can re-generate.

One was a top level jutsu involving a Death God, shinigami or whatever...
This one is a "drain life touch" wich we still don't know almost nothing about.
Maybe it works only on a weak will, for instance.

We saw the panels. Pain put is hand on the guys head, asked him a question (I presume) and when the guy didnt answer he just pulled his soul out

Taking a soul out of one's Body just by touching him... Lately Kishi has prouven how much of an entertainer he is. Damn, Each chapters are thrilling. This goes to the face of those who were doubting this guy's strengh.

For all we know, he could've Killed Jiraya from the moment they met. And as easily as he did with this random Konoha shinobi. <--- By Dragging his soul out. His powers are simply enormous... By showing us more of Pain's powers, Kishi is showing us how much Naruto will have to become stronger than his current State if he hope to defeat Pain. And he's definitly setting the bar High... I'm simply out of words.

That is a clever theory however i think the 8-tails grew a tail while being extracted then fell off. He then snuck out and bounced.

I don't know about Pein not being picky about his bodies. There must be a reason why Jiraya knew all of his first 6...

Additionally: I can't see how the fact that Yahiko-Pein knocked out 4 no-names proves that every Pein-Body can use every technique.
On the contrary, the fact that the new female Pein also attacked with summons supports the theory that every body is specialised on one technique. Nobody said that the bodies can't do anything besides this specialty though.


No i mean for one thing, the bodies probably can use the basic jutsus (shunshin, maybe a few elementals, etc). But may only have one set of super specialized battle jutsus.

We know they aren't one dimensional as the yahiko pain has shown

Rain and chakra sensing
The body copying jutsu he used for itachi and kisame
The long distance telepathy and hologram stuff
He managed to get to the top of that really high building/statue presumably

And the yahiko pain when a kid showed water jutsus as well. I'm just saying, don't expect to think that fat nin all he does is jump in the way and absorb stuff. He may throw a large fireball back at you or surprise you with a nice kawarimi.

Just read the spoilers. This chapter is epic from what I've seen. Not only does Kishi redeem the Sasuke v. Hachibi fight but gives us Pein action too. I think that they're going to have to get like a mob of Jounins to make Pein back off. He may be strong, but if each body is facing a ton of people on its own he may have to retreat. Anyway, just my $0.02.

I doubt its as powerful as that one though, these are fodder nins. When the shinigami jutsu was used Oro resisted and sandaime didn't have the strength to pull out his soul, I'm saying that was an ultimate jutsu something that even beat kyubi, this doesn't look anything like on the same scale, I don't think he can pull out anybody/everybody soul..most likely less power the ninja the easier but the stronger shinobi could probably deal with it.

THIS IS HOW PEIN WILL LOOSE....after fighting ninja fodder, then the big name ninja, he will finally taste some Naruto. After Naruto does all his signature moves and a couple newbee's, Pein will be suprised doubting his god-hood. Shika will jump outta no where and use hidan's head. Collect all 6 pein samples (or maybe just the one from the body in the autopsy room) force feed it to Hidan then stabb hidan in the head.

Like I once predicted…I think now the past prediction I made will even make more sense (Mark my words, haha!):

- Naruto will put up a memorable fight against Pain…but will ultimately be defeated. So, Naruto will be captured and the Kyuubi will be extracted: hence Naruto will die (yep!). A team of Konha’s best will arrive…late. Fortunately Sakura will be among them. Using the very jutsu she learnt by just observing Chyoba’s, she will (probably with the help of all naruto’s friends life force) bring Naruto back to life. Naruto won’t ‘just’ be alive once again, he will now NOT have Kyuubi in him…meaning…he will be in full control of his own natural massive chakra, and therefore ready for some major pawnage!

Only thing missing here is where the key-frog fits in all this…

I'm too sure about that theory, but I just wanted to add something about it.

Kakashi was there when Choyi saved Gaara, so he might have copy that jutsu with his Sharingan and might be the one that's going to perform it.

not usually a susuke supporter, but there seems to be something fishy going on. kiskhi has purposely had sasuke take two different stances since he joined akatuski. first, he was all about getting revenge on konoha 3 elders. which elvolved into all of konoha and the senju clan and him telling madara that he was orginally lying to hawk. yet, he has also made it clear that he has no intention of following akatsuki and that he and hawk are the one using akatsuki. plus the whole emotional amaterasu thing. why would he being lying to hawk if her tried so hard to save them all. which is the truth?

another thing why is hawk not present at the biju sealing? you would think that with four other members this process would go smoother or it could simply be that they do not have the needed rings. regardless, there lack of presense there as well as at the hideout they were using to get healthier is weird. it would seem that there is a possibility that sasuke knew something about the 8-tails because when asked by siguestu if he would now get the 8-tail's power he didn't seem to care anymore. now i know this could be simply because he has a new sharigan power of his own, but it could also mean that he was aware that it wasn't the real 8-tails.

i just don't think kishi would build sasuke up so much this season to have him fail so badly.

Balance? What about when Naruto Completes whatever Jutsu minato started and Fully takes control of Kyubi's power?

the way I see it, Naruto has 3 levels
First he gew into a decent ninja from Jiraiya's training
Second(after thsi training) He will become an s Class ninja to be reckoned with
Third He will become a Ghod when he weilds Kyuib's full power. Keep in mind, he only has HALF sealed in him right now

sasuke also has his 3 levels

body e) yahiko one, probably doing this body revive thing and some more powerful jutsus

all this bodys maybe quite spectacular, bot not one is definetely unbeatable. together they may not be beaten by one ninja. so there is one way to fight them. teamwork.
if the 6 bodys of pain could fight 6 kage-level nins at the same time then there would really be no reason for collecting 9 bijuus.

I think Kishi going to have it unexplained how Sasuke ment for this to happen. He has to gain their trust somehow. And fuxing over the shinobi wouldn't be in his best interest. Basicly, If Jiraya didn't die, we would still have the same clumsy Naruto who doesn't seem to get stronger. But now, thanks to J-man's efforts, we can expect a different Naruto with Abilities unseen to the Ninja-World when the Senjutsu training is over.

Yeah, and assumptions that Jiraya made of him being a Taijutsu specialiste were false. His special power seems to be Soul-Extraction, quite a fearsome ability. But ofcourse he might be able to do both ( soul-extraction and Taijutsu).

The soul-ripping ability is being WAY over-hyped by you people. It isn't as strong as you're making it out to be.

As others have stated it likely has limits, and we already can guess at a few of them. For starters the Pain has to grab a hold of the enemy ninja and maintain that hold. A strong enough ninja would be able to dodge his grab or struggle free.

And as we saw with Orochimaru a strong soul will not leave its body easily. If a jutsu as powerful as the death god seal can be resisted by a strong soul then this jutsu of Pain's (which is certainly less powerful) can probably be resisted as well.

this ability is not one of pains, it is one of the body pain inhabits. there was a time when this nin wasn't a part of pains ensemble, so somehow there was the fight where pain actually beat that soul drag-out guy. well yeah, his ability seems to be extremely deadly, because he drags the soul out of the body. but it seems that he has to grab your hand for quite a time to do so? so do you truely think that he could do that with a ninja of kage level?
Good points but I don't think the evidence supports the first one. The fact that the body that replaced the summoning Pain body is using the same ability makes it seem that it is Pain that gives the ability to the body, though perhaps there are requirements like the body must somehow be compatible with the power.

They may have simply been setting up for the initial stage. They needed Pain for the process at some point but likely could get started without him.

While the girl might have healing/regeneration abilities

The girl seems to do summoning in the spoiler pics...Seems logical to me since she's the replacement to the summoner who got killed by Jiraya

Finally the last page, quite the exciting chapter. I personally dont think the hokage has a chance of even dying even though in the face of true pain. It was stated in a shougi match between shiki and his dad that theres a way to protect the king and at the same time prevent retreat. Also I believe when the ish hits the fan we will see the older generation ex: hinata's dad, shiki dad and so on and so fourth because in that chapter shiki's dad says the he himself at his current level even after defeating hidan isnt ready to protect the king.

True enough, but I'm just going by what Madara said (which is likely the closest we'll ever get to a direct explanation) and really our thoughts aren't all that different, just centered around if Itachi could detect Orochi's special substitution or not.

However it does occur to me that unless preparations were going on unseen, Itachi could not have hit Sasuke with Amatarsu because he saw that Sasuke was using the special substitution, since (unless I'm wrong) Sasuke didn't actually use the substitution until AFTER Amatarasu hit him.

If you think about it much of what Itachi did seemed to be based on what one might at first call "vague assumptions." He assumed Sasuke would do as he said and live to kill him rather than commit suicide in despair or remain traumatized for life. Itachi assumed that Sasuke would wake up from the coma he put him in, despite the fact that Tsunade ended up being needed for that. Furthermore he assumed Sasuke would survive the attacks of the other Akaksuki and Orochimaru's interest in taking over his body.

Itachi just had a real knack for accurate assumptions.:)

come on, he cut the tentacle towards the end of the fight after he spanked him with Amaterasu while protecting Karin. Amaterasu, It was a death blow, final attack or they was all dead. He meant to kill KillerBee, there was no moment were a deal could have been struck, he only realised afterwards that he could put out Amaterasu (only to protect Karin), the mission was a failure but he salvaged it..KillerBee was dead lucky Sasuke found the power to put out the black flames.

Secret training: i think that he is practicing "that jutsu"--> i think it's aomething that Jiraiya taught him during the long 2yrs training(i dn't if i'm the only one who is finding this a bit awkward: naruto trained almost 2 yrs with jiraiya and now within about 2 days he seemed to have more progress than during these 2yrs...) also since we haven't seen the "real" outcome of jiraiya's training i'm thinkng that naruto's secret training is about something that he learned with jiraiya and it is "that jutsu".......

at moment the spoiler seems vague about hachibi escape, I understand it as he did some sort of replacement when the Amaterasu went out with the tentacle which Sasuke cut off to stop it hitting Karin, the body that got carried to hideout just turned out to be a tentacle, it also looks as if he just jumped out of water..maybe were he replaced himself waited until he regenerated/healed..still being back at cloud village. It kinda make sense because he talks of escaping from his village and going to see his music teacher, if he just escaped from the hideout then he is all ready out of his village and his comment wouldn't have made sense.

True enough, but I'm just going by what Madara said (which is likely the closest we'll ever get to a direct explanation) and really our thoughts aren't all that different, just centered around if Itachi could detect Orochi's special substitution or not.
I'm also going by what Madara said though, since being confident that Sasuke would survive could also mean recognizing the replacement technique before he hit Sasuke. The fact that Itachi recognizes the technique from before is a good sign of this. In this series it's usually the "I won't fall for the same trick twice" mentality, after all.



However it does occur to me that unless preparations were going on unseen, Itachi could not have hit Sasuke with Amatarsu because he saw that Sasuke was using the special substitution, since (unless I'm wrong) Sasuke didn't actually use the substitution until AFTER Amatarasu hit him.
I would assume that Sasuke would have to use the replacement technique before he was actually hit. The technique is not a regeneration technique, so any limbs lost will be lost forever. Orochimaru was forced to switch bodies after Itachi cut off his arm for example. You could assume that the reason for that could be that it can't be done with only one arm, but Orochimaru did exactly that against the kyuubi.

So in other words, the technique has to be "buffered" before you get hit.
That's probably why it's hard to detect.

As far as I know, we only know that he sealed the "Yang" part of the chakra inside Naruto.
But the concepts of "good" and "evil" do not apply to the concepts of yin-yang. For example, "darkness" is neither good nor bad.

Well its true that yin-yang has no fixed good or evil. Its just the balance and duality of life. But i would assume That Minato was in descent condition when he had the 9tail in a submissive position. Thats when he chose to split the energy source into its basic yin-yang composition. Now if he died after this... i'd assume the portion he sealed into himself was the "negative" or unsustainable portion. Resulting in Naruto having the "positive" sustainable portion.

To play devils advocate against what i just said... u could also argue that the negative portion is in Naruto. Minato would have done that only knowing something special about Naruto's chakra. That his chakra would be the only chakra "positive" enough to balance the "negative" portion of the 9tail. In a way that they both co-exist. This would explain that mysteriousness of Naruto's chakra. Yamato has mentioned it... as well as Kakashi saying Naruto has a unique ability to be-friend anyone.

He might have been refering to Taijutsu in General but I've got a feeling that there's something more it...

IMO kishi wouldn't need to make Pa-frog say "Frog-Fu" instead of simply saying "Taijutsu" just to confuse us. And since this is Senjutsu training, we can expect safely that every aspects of this training to be somewhat special than regular. So yes, I think (And Hope) that it's a special fighting style.

He might have an unique fighting style like Rock-Lee. <--- Though Rock-Lee's Taijutsu is simply the best in the serioes imho, There's no one else I enjoy seeing in a fight than this guy.

Well i was just going off the yin-yang convo. Yin-yang doesn't mean good or bad but it does deal with duality. The biggest duality we know of is good/evil. Which is in the manga. Does Kishi really have to define that? i dont know.

sasuke used Amaterasu to save his ass and takkas, I just don't see him colluding with hachibi over the capture the fight just went to far for that, it was either get killed or kill..he chose to kill hachibi but miraculously found a new power to put out amatesaru saving the mission.

Though the Amaterasu is a separate event, and also an example of Sasuke taking the opportunities as they come, even if they aren't according to his original plan. If he noticed a replacement technique, it doesn't have to have much to do with the fact that he used Amaterasu earlier.
