Yamada Takamo has always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher, but when she has her first day she meets Inu-kun. Inu is a super problem child who to top all things, refuses to wear pants or underwear. How will she manage her new kindergarten career?

Love it or hate it, he's back. His new series seems to be about a kid who...doesn't wear pants? Will this series ever get scanlated? XD

The first thing comes to my mind when I see this is Crayon Shinchan. I hope this is not a ripoff, 'cause it seems hilarious. Well, need translation or scanlation to confirm that anyway. :D

Hahahahaha....Nobody will ever scanlate this. Are you kidding?

I'm sure some people would if anyone actually showed anythign other than ignorant hatred of it.

i personally htink it could be okay, but hey he did bad before

I would read it if someone wanted to scanlate it. That will not happen though.

which is a shame. perhaps if pestered we can get a good summary of what happens from someone like shrimpy or something.

and i think the title is Inumaru Dashi, but i'm not sure

Yeah, that is the title. What made you doubt that?

The title of your thead is Inu Marudashi, which would then be wrong.

Bah..I don't pay attention to these things. I will fix it though.

Anyway, Oishi is turning into some sorta regular villain of the jump slots around here isn't he?
Imagine all the joy people will have if it becomes the second new series with a permanent high spot!

I think he should be the villain in Bakuman.

Got some free time last night, and done this:

Hope it's motivating enough for scanlators / translators. If not... oh, well. :D

it's certainly a good job. And now i have a general gist of what it's like i have to say i'm half curious about it.

I kind of want to read it just so i can see if it's worth anything.

I'm not surprised nobody is translating/scanlating this XDD
I'm actually following it because I was in Japan at the time it started, so I just began reading it randomly and then I found no reason to stop doing it, lol.

It's kind of a pity that nobody is doing it, because even though it's not the most hilarious manga in the world it still is sort of funny. The annoying part (for a translator) is that it's full of references to famous Japanese people, trends of the moment and such, not to mention puns and plays on words.

I'd offer to translate it myself, if it weren't that I'm currently so busy that I still haven't resumed my weekly Naruto translations. If I ever get enough free time as to be able to do everything, I might think about this series as well..

well i'd encourage ya endlessly (mainly as i enjoy seeing smaller series getting attention than naruto XD) but if ya so busy then all i can say is that i'm glad that you're following it without disliking it :D good signs for the series

I am glad the series has pop culture in it. I always appreciate that. But then again....so does Shinchan.... >_>

Again, sorry to bring another near dead forum up, but if anyone's still interested in seeing this series fansubbed, I have an offer here:

By the way, how did Maison du Penguin already gain its notoriety if almost no one knows about the series or read it?

its reputation was made clear in other series more than anything, alongside its top 5 position EVERY week, despite tiny tankobon sales.

The other series thing being stuff like Gin Tama making jokes about no-one really knowing when Penguin will ever be cancelled

Can you point out any specific chapters of any of these series? That's quite interesting. :3

MAY 24 UPDATE:
Can you believe this? I sure can't:

Inumarudashi is getting a flash anime!

Hey guys.

A few months ago, I mentioned there was an announcement (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-05-23/shonen-jump-inumarudashi-manga-gets-flash-anime) on the Anime News Network about an upcoming Inumarudashi anime. Since then, I've been on the lookout for announcements for a possibly still-upcoming anime of Inumarudashi. Now, I've realized that there was a new VOMIC adaptation of the series here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEFK3evaCiY&feature=channel_video_title), released in segments this past June. I was thinking this would be a precursor to an upcoming series. A few months later, I've found absolutely nothing online announcing an upcoming anime series.

My question to all of you:
Was that VOMIC adaptation the anime referred to in the ANN article? If not, is there really an anime series coming soon?

Well, I can't tell. The VOMIC was done in Flash, certainly. I dunno if that 4 episode thing counts somehow as an "anime".

I've still got like a ton of other projects to do, that I'd rather spend my time on, than this. So don't expect me to be translating this series really soon or something. Anyone else is free to do it if they're gonna do it accurately.

I wasn't asking anyone to in particular. I know no one wants to take on the job because it's extremely hard to catch all the Japanese cultural references and/or the series just doesn't suit anyone's taste.

In fact, I'm hoping to get to doing it myself eventually. I've peeked at the more recent chapters and it seems like it may still be fun to read.

UPDATE: Come to think about it, I just realized you were the one doing all the translations! I'm sure everyone here is fine if you still don't want to take on the job.
