We've seen him disable puppets with Iron Sand by having the Iron Sand slip into joints and weak spots. The question is... would he be able to do the same thing to a human? If his control over the Iron Sand is good as Gaara controlling his sand, should he be able to do Sabaku Sōsō but deadlier? Since the Iron Sand is also drenched in poison, could it not be another medium in injecting poison into his opponents?

I got curious over the Sasori vs Kakuzu thread... if Sasori can use Iron Sand and directly poison all the masks... well yeah and not to mention disable body parts of Kakuzu using the Iron Sand.

Yes he could probably. But he needs the Kazekage puppet for it. But well, why use such an attack, if you can do what he just did in the fight? No normaly ninja could have beat him. You had to know how he fights (which Chiyo did), to have a chance there.

That is true that a normal ninja wouldn't survive a fight but what about other circumstances where you aren't fighting a normal ninja?

Theoretically, he could.

But I think he'd prefer his own fighting style over using a move like that. Something about it not being artsy.

the iron sand is probably heavier and harder to control than the normal
sand. If yoy noticed in the fight, most of the attacks were bludgeon based and
relied on momentum so it probably can't be controlled to the same extent as
gaara's.

I think it depends on chakra. The 3rd Kazekage's ability to use magnetism, relies on chakra to work. I think the more chakra he has, the easier it will be to control metal objects.

There's that and the fact Sasori is the one using the 3rd Kazekage ability. It's possible the 3rd, was better at using it than Sasori.

P.S Theoretically Sasori could fly, like Gaara does, if he wanted to. He could ride on the metal sand in the way Gaara rides on his sand. It would cost chakra, but I think it's possible.

I'll have to agree that it isn't artsy in a way but I think his question about the ability to control iron sand shouldn't be an issue. If he can manipulate the iron sand so well that he can literally jam enemy puppets at key joints, I don't think his control is an issue.
