View Full Version : RJ attempts to share some knowledge of writing!

Well, I've been working on this for at least a week or two now (I've lost track of time). It's a guide on creating a proper OC, or Original Character.
It's over 5000 words, I should warn you. However, it's possible to just skim through it. It's labelled pretty clearly.
It comes in two parts (because LJ is evil). The second part is linked to at the bottom of the page. So, have a read if you're up to it, and tell me what you think!

Currently reading right now. I'm at Act II, under Flaws/Quirks because I clicked on the Mary Sue link :tem Great so far. Thanks for the guide.

It's not long at all, it was pretty interesting actually. A pity I don't write anything myself, but if I do, I'll be sure to re-read yours again.

Thanks for that guys! I'm really hoping that this will help a lot of people. I've spent years in the fanfiction world, so I thought it's about time I gave at least a little something back to the community![br]Posted on: August 29, 2006, 01:01:30 PM_________________________________________________Small update: It's been recieving some rather good feedback on other sites/communities. I'm surprised. :D
