So many fillers in Naruto, this is the third filler arc and its only been 90 episodes for Shippuuden. Part 1 was also around 40% fillers. I don't understand why they won't just keep it going without them. The manga is 90 chapters ahead of the episodes. Thats around 45 episodes worth of material (usually around 2 chapters per episode). By the time all these episodes were out, another 45 manga chapters would be produced (considering a 1:1 ratio for manga and episodes released).

The ending was funny, I can't wait for a subbed version.

That frog is some new filler type frog Gamariki and not Gamakichi. In Manga, I dont think there was Gamariki ever. But ya they have shown one scene

Well I liked this filler becouse we can see more Hinata ^^ along with Kiba and shino... but Hinata is the most important in there for me ;]

DB should be releasing episode 91 and then they'll stop. I honestly did not have a problem with Crunchyroll's job of subbing this episode. It was good and so was the video.

Now, this episode was weird...especially when Jiraiya and Naruto first get to the hotspring and it shows them stuck in some sort of splash screen where they're smiling and giving a "thumbs up" pose.

Heh, I actually watched this streamed from TV Tokyo in raw form, and then subbed about five minutes after it ended (yes, it was available with subs immediately after it aired in Japan, not an hour later).

I got the impression that Jiraiya simply used his normal chakra (like what is used for Rasengan) to perform the combination technique. He never actually said that he used nature manipulation when demonstrating it to Naruto. He even said that Naruto's use of Wind would make the technique more powerful than what he himself performed. This makes it unlikely that Jiraiya used Wind chakra (not to mention that he's never used a Wind Technique before).

Decent episode. Well, that's an exaggeration. They didn't say much. Just repeated the same stuff over and over. They're waisting a lot of time. It's good to know that they're at least trying a little harder with the animation part of the fillers. The pt. 1 fillers were horrible & looked like throwbacks to the 1980's. I'm with that other guy on the ending. I think that will get real old real fast. Nice now, but yeah...


And jees... even in fillers, Ten Ten gets no respect. She can't even get in the cheerleading row with the other girls. :blink That pretty much sums up where female characters rank in this manga anyway...

Wow, when the frame by frame animation gets smoothed out, you get the Naruto version of girls jumping on trampolines from the Man show. Same precious angles, same precious bouncing. Ten Ten didn't get included because she looks like a monk now. Monks cannot be included in carnal pleasures. Anyway, Guy and Lee ending scenes were funny as hell. These fillers are so messed up that even the mixing of canon and blech does not make sense anymore. Nice to see big Kichi and Tatsu, 2.5 years of not watching what you're eating>v<. Loved the flirting to the camera bit at the end: Ino is like "you know I'm hot", Hinata is acting shy but the look in her eyes makes it clear she's at least partly faking it, where Sakura looks straightforwardly interested and innocent of guile. Really reflects that part of the characters personalities accurately.

I don´t know if it is 720p or not, but you don´t have to use mkv for 720p you can use what ever you want, avi, wmv, mp4...

The episode was actually pretty good, that is until tranny frog appeared. Luckily Gamakichi is in the preview. Every scene without that frog was good, and I'm actually looking forward to this arc. I loved how the screen went static and cut to Orochimaru at the end. The ending was weird but addictive (loved Lee going whoo!), but the end with the fat silhouettes looked like an official pv for the band.

I just checked the the file with gspot and the reason the file is so big is the used Audio Codec, they use: PCM 44100Hz 1411 kb/s tot (2 chnls)

So only the Audiofile of the Video is about 233mb, the video file is about 135mb big. That is all, they just "forgot" to encode the Audio stream as for example mp3 then the audio file should be around 24mb and not 233mb.

Thanks. I have also found 480P, 1080P (does not look like full 1080) on torrents. It seems in future we can expect better quality episodes. Only problem is Dattebayo subs are way way better than the new subs.

Although this is a filler arc, at least it's expanding the Jinchuuriki's story. If Kishimoto had took the time to do it himself, the manga would be a lot bigger. Anyway, the fillers in Shippuuden (except for the excessive dragging in the Rescue Gaara arc) haven't been bad at all, though the end of the Sora arc was lame. As long as this filler arc doesn't extend past 30 episodes (I'm hoping it'll be 20) I'm fine.

Holy crap... that was one of the best episodes of Shipuuden by far and it was 100% filler.

I really like how they're stepping the anime studio is stepping their game up. The animation, the careful choosing of the words from the various characters. Everything said all holds significance to later chapters. What Naruto said, what Jiraiya said. I honestly never expected that subordinate of Orochimaru's, what was her name again, Guren was it? I honestly wasn't expecting her technique to look as amazing as it did. Crystal element eh? :D

The scenes with Naruto and Jiraiya were especially good due to the conversation they were having and Jiraiya reflecting back on the fact that Naruto hasn't wavered in the slightest over the 3 years about wanting to bring Sasuke back. Jiraiya lost hope with Orochimaru, but he's impressed that Naruto is sticking to what he intends to do about Sasuke and he really believes that Naruto could end up accomplishing his goal. I especially like how they showcased Naruto talking about wanting a long range technique that he could use. Possible foreshadowing going on there in regards to you know what.

I wasn't expecting them to show the scar on Jiraiya's chest and have Naruto reflect back on that. Fantastically done. This entire episode could've been manga material it was honestly THAT good. The opening gave me a lot of hope before, but seeing this episode assures me that this arc is going to have some unbelievable fights.

Even the scene with Jiraiya training Naruto on performing combo techniques with toads was impressive. It honestly didn't matter how ridiculous that frog looked, that was still good enough to be canon material. The animation of Jiraiya and that toad performing that combo technique was great. I've never been this excited to see more filler. I also like that they are teasing Sasuke and Orochimaru about to have themselves a little one on one hehe.

I would literally put this up there as one of the top 2 or top 3 eps of the entire Shippuuden series. I'm stunned people didn't like this episode, it was amazing. I can't be the only one seeing this much attention paid to a filler ep as a incredible sign for whats to come when a lot of the things we've seen in the manga start happening in the anime. They deserve serious credit for this episode. The way the frog looked didn't matter, the fact of the matter is that they are planning on filling out Naruto's arsenal and being really creative with what they know is coming up in the actual manga content.

Yea, it really was. From this last episode, it looks to me like the anime team is looking to be a whole lot more efficient about things and not waste unnecessary time when it comes to setting up their episodes.

Jiraiya lost hope with Orochimaru, but he's impressed that Naruto is sticking to what he intends to do about Sasuke and he really believes that Naruto could end up accomplishing his goal. I especially like how they showcased Naruto talking about wanting a long range technique that he could use. Possible foreshadowing going on there in regards to you know what.

I wasn't expecting them to show the scar on Jiraiya's chest and have Naruto reflect back on that. Fantastically done. This entire episode could've been manga material it was honestly THAT good. The opening gave me a lot of hope before, but seeing this episode assures me that this arc is going to have some unbelievable fights.

Even the scene with Jiraiya training Naruto on performing combo techniques with toads was impressive. It honestly didn't matter how ridiculous that frog looked, that was still good enough to be canon material. The animation of Jiraiya and that toad performing that combo technique was great. I've never been this excited to see more filler. I also like that they are teasing Sasuke and Orochimaru about to have themselves a little one on one hehe.

I would literally put this up there as one of the top 2 or top 3 eps of the entire Shippuuden series. I'm stunned people didn't like this episode, it was amazing. I can't be the only one seeing this much attention paid to a filler ep as a incredible sign for whats to come when a lot of the things we've seen in the manga start happening in the anime. They deserve serious credit for this episode. The way the frog looked didn't matter, the fact of the matter is that they are planning on filling out Naruto's arsenal and being really creative with what they know is coming up in the actual manga content.


finally , i am so happy ,,, postive about filler ... i seen most of whinner complain about anime filler since we dont pay to watch ... stop complain about it

They used Asuma in the previous fillers and he died after those fillers and they will use Jiraiya in these fillers because he dies pretty soon

yea that might make sense, my guess would be earth, fire, then wind, or water to rapidly cool it forming crystals. lol mud.

There's a thought. Could be. Would be interesting if that happened in the manga sometime in the future.


Another thing I didn't care for with this. After all the manga did to make frogs/toads come across as being somewhat 'cool', this episode in record time, destroyed it. :p

I was very pleased with this episode, specially after the animation crap in the last episode.

Not to mention that Hinata makes me want to watch it over and over again. Gamariki was funny too. Great ending too(where in the hell did Ino get that growth spur).

About Guren, Earth+Fire is the most probable, a great quantity of crystaline rocks is formed through molten magma, specially if fast cooled. Glass is another big example. Actually, any rock with a stable structure tends to form crystals.

is it just me or do anime makers somehow change the artwork of the anime. Cuz i have never seen hinata so femine before ( not that's bad thing, cuz i like that ending hilarious :P). So another filler he? I think they're giving a glimpse of the new jutsu that naruto was working on the frog mountain

Parapara is pretty popular to the same age group Naruto in Japan caters to, so I wouldn't call it infantilizing.

I liked the new ending and with more Hinata this was a win ep for me. I am not sure about the frog though. However, antoher ep with the J-man is ok with me and compares to that last filler arc thhis will be great.;)
