Actually, I'll admit I liked the scenes with Lee and Gai. Their dynamic is always fun to watch. But that's it. Nothing else of import happened in this show.

I agree, it wasn't that exciting this time. But it has been worse, so I'd say this episode was kinda boring but the animation was all in all OK and you could watch it without thinking "ouch >.<" the whole time.
But what do you mean with the 1 hour special? o.o Will there be a special? I didn't see anything about that in the episode o.o

i doubt it. but i guess since the 3-tails was so inconsequential it doesn't even matter if naruto knows about it or not. i just wish that they would remake the series after it ends and make the episodes better (like how some dub companies merge 2 episodes into 1), but with better animation and no fillers. ah that would be the life...

lol, the heck happening with naruto, i stopped watching it after gurren (whatever her name is) appeared...and they are still there? I saw the baddies team, one of them seemed to come from megaman...the rest ? dumb looking.

The episode is boring not only because it's filler but also because characters reactions are 50% slower...

I didn't follow the filler, can someone pm me a quick description of what's happening? Just so i can guess when the filler will end...

But, 100 was lackluster--I skipped to just see the part with Guren, then I was done. But, when this filler is over, I'll be stopping my watching of the anime, because in my opinion, the next arc, save the Jiraiya fight, is worse than any filler could ever be.

I think it's a total shame because none of these filler characters have to be bad. It is clear that thought and time has gone into their design and backgrounds, but introducing them halfway through a timeline in an already established story where it is impossible for them to provide any more than a temporary deviation from the main plot is a recipe for disaster. This is fundamentally why filler characters can never work, and why, even when it's necessary for an anime to take some time while the manga develops, the people who have been following the manga will never accept these forced characters, and the people who have been following the anime will be confused and betrayed that these characters are never ever referenced again. I think it's better for everyone to simply halt production while the anime can catch up to the manga and spend more money producing some quality animation, rather than stretching their funds and excreting out some worthless filler that really does nothing but delay the plot with meaningless characters and irritate the fans who have been diligently watching the show.

Sorry, but a rant I had to rant.
