If it's B&W I make sure the file has the colour profile in B&W (saves a lot of space)

Depending on the quality I'll fix the levels first but if there's a giant spot of some crap that shouldn't be there than I'll fix that first.

Then I'll go in and erase some left over noise manually

Then I fix the blacks with the burn tool (I know it's not often recommended but I think I know how to properly use it).

Erase the dialog while replacing it with translation.

After every finished page I convert the file to a jpg and put it in the final folder.

Read it all to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Take out a credit page, put in the credits slap it into the file and compress it than upload it.

The traditional method: rotate, crop, resize, level, (curves/dodge/burn depending on quality), insert text, remove j-text, re-arrange text so it looks better, save for web, png. I spend more time on the text portions than on all the other parts combined, which is why I tend to dislike really wordy manga.
