WTF at Naruto and two frogs overcoming a blast from the 3-tails and setting it on fire, at Guren crystalizing herself (even though she survives), at Kabuto using a scalpel instead of a kunai and at the monster created from those three guys. LOL at how it was defeated and how Guren countered Rinji's thing. Basically what you'd expect :amuse

Next chapter seems to have a lot of stuff happening in it :o Glad it'll be over after that.

Surprisingly very good episode. Action was animated very nicely, didn't expect that. Though, Naruto drawn a bit badly. Also pretty good choice of soundtracks.

It seems that next episode is conclusion to this arc. Well, but I don't think that Guren died.

sigh....there are just too many things that totally fail in this episode,like naruto not just summoning gamabunta,that renji didn't just kill yuukimaru quickly with a kunai and one of the dumbest things:why did naruto use taju-kagebunshin with rasengan?????he knew before that it doesn't work and then he sais:"hmmm,that doesn't work..." ????:blink

how the hell was naruto able to keep up with Kabuto? he couldn't the last time they met and now he suddenly kicks him? wtf? but nothing surprises me more on this filler arc...

I have absolutely no problem of having Sasuke during the next 25 episodes. It means we're back on course ^^

too bad that on december we'll probably have another filler arc of I dunno, the 5 tails? or the 4 tails? I wish we don't.

This is the episode that I was waiting for!
Those goddamned filler characters are dead, except Yuukimaru. It would have been better if this was done... 5-10 episodes ago, like Gozu.
The fusion of the slime and smoke guys was the freakiest thing I have ever seen. Good they died very quickly. I did not want it to drag any further. Speaking of "dragging it out," Guren really died a pitiful death, sacrificing her life to defeat a corpse. Wind Style- Toad Flame Bombs surprisingly did a lot against a Biju. Apparently it is stupid enough to not dive underwater to get rid of the flames.

Next episode is the end of the filler arc- possibly Deidara and Tobi appear to capture the beast (if only THEY were the main focus this arc and not those filler Sound guys), Naruto and Yuukimaru, etc. And then, we can finally go to the canon.

Well Have you forgotten that Naruto is on Kakashi's level or stronger? It makes sense why Naruto is kicking Kabuto's ass right now. Filler or canon doesn't matter.

exactly. Based on the title for the next three episodes it looks like they are going to be moving pretty fast. I'd rather have filler than slowed down canon content. The Hidan/Kakuzu arc was great because they were able to have a good pace and also expand on Asuma.

Not really unfortunately, those chapters that they're treating has half of it showed already before this whole filler arc (feeding Naruto ramen, FRS destroying Naruto's body and Konohamaru's sexy scene). It came down to 3,5 chapters in 3 episodes I believe.

Still, they CAN expand stuff in a good way too like they did with Asuma. Perhaps they'll manage that this time too :)

the preview showed the crystal at the bottom of the lake... so its likely she will be revived, also looks like tobi and deidara will be making their move starting at the end of the next ep

So in the end, we were forced to see all this useless stuff to reach this meaningless end. WTF is wrong with the anime ppl? they just wont let us watch Naruto peacefully. I really thought the fillers this time are going to be somehow like the movie stories. But as u all see now, it was a damn useless failed mission with a bunch of dumb characters. We gained nothing from this... Instead, alot of ppl I know are quitting the anime ... they read only the manga now.

Thanks god we are going to go back to the real story.

Even in their first fight Naruto hit him really hard with the rasengan and at that time he was still a kid. Maybe Kabuto was able to somehow defeat Naruto in the next time, but after the fight between sasuke and naruto you saw Kabuto realising how strong Sasuke was and I am sure from that point on Naruto was able to beat him. Not that easy like in the filler arc but by now he should be able to beat the hell out of Kabuto.

Kabuto is really no match for him anymore and that´s why it was nice to see that in the anime. ;)

About the Kabuto how he is now in the actual manga chahpter we can´t talk here because of spoilers. But I hope to see him thinking he is really strong trying something and getting owned by the Konohamaru team. That would be funny. :D

Of course he could beat Kabuto that was the reason Kabuto run away like a pussy. :D

Sure it was stated that Kabuto could be somewhere near the level of Kakashi (at the oro arch kakashi level of course not the kakashi level we see later) but even then I had never doubted that in a one on one fight Kakashi would rip him apart, Kabutos skills are more on the medical and experimenting side while Kakashi is a fighting machine. ;)

I finally watched Naruto for the first time since the Immortal Twins died, and this episode/story of an emo little boy running around was pretty dull. The whole DBZ power up and the three-tails randomly coming to the kid and then destroying the area was pretty annoying too. Wasn't very good story-telling or development, but I'm glad I can finally see some manga come to life after this arc is over.

If they continue to implement fillers in between Manga arcs then don't expect the Sasuke/ Itachi and Pain/Jiraiya till next year. I don't really mind filler arcs that try to connect and intertwine the material with the manga somehow but when filler arc lasts for 6 months = Thats FREAKIN Half a YEAR!! then that gets really tiring and annoying.

The farthest arc this year will probably be the Sasuke vs Deidara fight. They'll stretch out the Oro/Sasuke - Team Hebi- Sasuke/Deidara and then FILLER!!!!!!!

Adding stuff that shouldn't even be mentioned now but in 2 almost 3 arcs fails.

changing stuff that happened in the manga just because they decided to make this stupid arc for the 3 tails. what u may ask? Gamakichi wasn't supposed to appear in this arc. only @ the end of the next 2 upcoming arcs.
The 3 tails was supposed to be sealed when kakuzo and hidan killed Asuma.
saying that gamakichi can do fire jutsus when we don't know if he can.
yet again, make a fool of naruto and most of the others.
