lol, well the idea was to have the names get judges based on coolness, reasoning behind it, possibly relevance to manga/anime, etc. So if Grizz has a great back story then maybe you could be #1 :p. Or I can be arrogant and be #1 :XD (I love doing that :D)

Yeah. i kinda slept really early last night, i felt really sick because i ate too much during the day and my stomach started hurting.. i don't know its kinda weird no matter what time i sleep i can't wake up after 10 am. i've tried to relax during this summer, but its been raining quite often..

oh so you love my sig. thanks lol..

Grizz

I haven't been to the beach in quite some time now, i would love to go, but you can never predict what the british weather will be like.. so am wondering what time would you wake up once you decided to go to bed?? you need at the very your 8 hour sleep time right??

Arrogance
July 17, 2009, 02:38 AM
Ehh, its usually like 12ish. I could probably sleep longer because I get groggy, but I force myself to get up at noon otherwise I feel like I end up wasting my whole day away if I don't get up that that time.

LOL, yea it usually is :XD. Well obviously I plan to make an appearance here. Then I will work out as in lifting weights cause tomorrow is my scheduled day to do it., and then after that I'll probably go out for the night to chill with some friends. And then when I come home after all my friday night shenanigans, I will probably make another appearance here and will them go off to sleep. So yea thats really my plan for tomorrow, simple yet effective :D. O and in my time on MH I hope that I will eventually get a response from Blai about the 100 top usernames competition ^___^.

I only workout every other day. You need a day of rest in between workouts for your muscles to grow properly and to prevent injury. If you work out everyday doing full body weight training then your gonna tire muscles out and may end up injuring them. That day of rest is key :D. So to answer your question, no I don't workout too much, lol. I workout a perfect amount of time :)

GIMME A BREAK!

I just took a break from the gym because I was getting worn out... I'm spending July at the comp or at the beach, either drinking tequila or eating potato crisps...

AND YOU WORKOUT EVERY OTHER DAY???

And you actually do not need to rest one day between, as long as the specific muscles you're working on get to rest one day.
So you can go like legs one day.. chest and back the 2nd day, without risking anything because the other muscle-group gets to rest.
iirc...
but let's not bring this discussion up here ^_^

The games for HP for the PS3 aren't bad at all. I've played most of them apart from chamber of secrets, I didn'tlike goblet of fire because that game was like a RPG game and it sucked. Order of the Phoenix was excellent, and now Half Blood Prince should be too. :)

Has anyone been watching Dragonball Kai? A remade version od DMZ without any fillers, well just minimal fillers but it is still awesome! :3

but let's not bring this discussion up here ^_^

O it has been brought!!!! :XD No I was referring to myself mostly, my key word was FULLY BODY WORKOUT, I do one of those every other day. You can't do a full body workout everyday. Plus you won't even have enough energy to be able to complete the workout the next day and you and thats another factor to why you won't get the same results other than your muscles not being able to grow properly. I FULLY understand that muscles needs a days rest, so that means you could mix it up and do like chest, triceps, shoulders and then the next day you do like back, biceps, abs, etc. And then you can alternate each set each day which would give you a day of rest for each muscle group. I did that once and didn't like it, one because I didn't get the same full body epic pump you get from a full body workout and two is that I had to be motivated to workout everyday then......

Anywho, so you seem to understand the concept of the top 100 usernames competition, I hope it works out :D( I made a pun, hehe, get it, we were talking about workouts and I said I hope it works out....:p)
[hr]

Youtube sucks for watching anime, youtube is good for songs and your funny videos and stuff.
O yea, it gets to be a real pain in the ass. They end up slitting the eps into like several parts and stuff. It can really annoy me, the only thing is that lets say I wanna see the bleach ep that just came out for that specific week, if I want to watch it, Youtube will always have it. Plus, I haven't found a good website where I could watch the eps streaming off of. I actually had two but I had to stop using them for 2 reasons: one like died and just stopped posting the videos, the other was like hacked and got bad virus issues. So for like the last few months I've been lazy and just used youtube when I want to watch bleach. Not the best in its delivery of the videos, but it at least has them when I need them.

It does throw you off though and I end up losing some muscle mass. I can even get thrown off and see a difference even if I miss one day. Being determined and following your schedule religiously :p is the key to getting results. I just need to find a way for me to get quality workouts while I'm away to at least keep me in good shape while I'm gone.

AHAHAHA, like I said though my data isn't 100% accurate cause I don't have the conditions to fully test my body out to the limit. Hopefully I can one day, that'd be sweet :D

You don't have to be !00% accurate, look at the Manga Databook, sometime they contradict things. As long as you have an Assessment of what you can do and what you can't , i say a Databook would be good.

Okay in bench and shoulder press you deffo kill me. But in barbell curl I do around 110lbs and with dumbbells (90, 75 or 60 degrees) I usually have around 50lbs in each hand for both breast and arm exercises.

But still, 300lbs? :O /suicide.. I do like around 190lbs... Monster :p

Anyone interested in the festival I'll attend tomorrow? No? :oh I don't care! \o/

Anyway, if you're bored... the festival features 34 bands and due to my kids I'm not able to attend every show but here's my selection of must-see bands and I'll try some others depending on available babysitter (aka other families I know) :amuse

Coppelius (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EqsNzvDCSk)
German band which plays 'metal' on classic intruments (drums, double bass, cello and clarinet).

Mantus (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMOdtdMFY9U)
German dark metal band.

Solar Fake (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nR3ZkNxf94)
German synth-pop, EBM, industrial und electro rock band.

Leaves' Eyes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vjv-Byb4BI8)
German-Norwegian symphonic metal band feat. the former Theatre of Tragedy lead singer. My Saturday highlight!! :luv

Fields of the Nephilim (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xlE8A7Qu9M)
British gothic-rock and industrial metal band, known for their 'dust and death' image ('spaghetti western' themed, so coooool :XD).

Xotox (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TT4UeCwWwTM)
German dark techno project \o

(Probably) not going to see:
* The Birthday Massacre
* Eisbrecher
* Leæther Strip
* Convenant
* Auto-Auto
* Jäger90
* Scandy
* Absolute Body Control
* Masheaux
* Agonoize
* Feindflug
* LaibachMono Inc. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7P5BN6F79xU)
German alternative/dark/synth rock band.

Saltatio Mortis (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-tt5fU-BxE)
German medieval electro rock band and my personal festival highlight!!!! :luv The whole weekend ticket price was already worth an hour with these guys. Luv!!! :luv :luv

Unheilig (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gedkXBJuZss)
German NDH ('new german hartness'), synth rock and goth band and my second festival highlight! :luv :luv I can die happily after having seen this one as well :luv

Front 242 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4oFcaVY8iQ)
Belgian EBM and post-industrial project. Early 80ies classic band and one of the EBM roots.

Omnia (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsyu34IxU_Y)
Dutch paganfolk band <3333333333333

Qntal (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFmczgxSA54)
German medieval-electro project <333333

KMFDM (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4-bUYU3BH8)
German industrial metal band. Follows directly on Qntal's gig :XD

Camouflage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJrBRu3btXM)
German synth-pop band. Also a superb old school one <3333333

(Probably) not going to see:
* PanzerAG
* Delain
* Diorama
* Hocico
* Rosa Crux
* The Other
* Jesus on Extasy
* Henke
* The Gathering

That's it. More are sadly not possible with the kids due to time schedule or too 'mature' shows. Can't really say that e.g. Rosa Crux ('pain themed' live show) and The Other (horrorpunk) are exactly good live acts to attend with young children :amuse

So, any summer festivals you look forward to? :nuts

//edit
More Unheilig (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vbwxz_bma2E)!!! :luv

Oh no don't worry, that is not the issue... see I got all the postcount lists and put it in my computer so I sum it all up and get a the numbers of post per Member... but I forgot to specify when exactly I got that information, the only thing I knew is that it was in 11th of July... so I have to recalculate the people that posted after that date... so I am simply comparing new list with old lists or checking in the thread itself who I have to recalculate... I think I have to recalculate about 20 people... which is cool... and since I recreated the postcount list of the active threads in my computer... I should have no problem in keeping track of the numbers ^_^

Lol, if only that was all translated into kilograms. But that weight does seem reasonable. Do you do any thing for your single muscles like your forearms(even though most arm workouts do forearms)

And do you watch youtube for advice

Arrogance
July 20, 2009, 03:16 PM
No I don't watch youtube, I learned some things from my dad and then developed others on my own. And yea I do specific things to target muscle groups as well. I do those 3 types of curls for my biceps, I do 2 types lateral dumbbell raises for my shoulders, I do 2 different tricep workouts, two types of ab workouts, shoulder presses, benching, flys, shrugs, 3 types of back workouts, and thats just about it. So yea I do the standard strength training workouts as well as I target certain muscle groups with specific exercises as well. And I usually don't do just one work out for one muscle group, I do more than one type to target different parts of that specific muscle.

Why use inactive threads if many people visit the HO thread more than those threads and then your word gets around more

Discussing manga is a no no because usually the manga's discussed have there one forum. But little threads that are barely used should be a acception

Why use inactive threads if many people visit the HO thread more than those threads and then your word gets around more

Discussing manga is a no no because usually the manga's discussed have there one forum. But little threads that are barely used should be a acception

Because you discuss single subjects in single threads. That's why they are there - To separate the topics from each other. You don't want people to discuss working out, food with bird species in one single thread. That would = mess. The threads are also there to give a more in-depth conversation about the subjects. Of course you can touch the various topics here, but to have a discussion about a subject that there's already a thread for is not going to be happening in here.

btw, the thread is not inactive and I'm not going to take this conversation with you any more.

Boxing now isn't really that good. Back then you had Foreman, Ali, Frazier, all legends in their own right, and also other great boxers.

Present boxers don't really quite compare.

Football is the best sport to watch fights as well. Some are just plain hilarious and the referees are so weak, I remember in 1 match when this guy just pushed this referee softly and he went flying on the ground. -_-; Talk about weak strength.

But it's a different thing with touching the subject and actually discussing it *___*

Actually one of the worst things with sports is fouls. Like fights in hockey and stuff. I mean young children is watching and they have those guys as idols, they wanna be like them. I know since I'm a referee that kids from the age of 12 starts to trash-talk and fight and it pisses me off. Idc what the coaches says about that. If they are under 16 I'll send them out if they even think of it. From 16-18 I let them sit 10min penalty first. Bastards!! *enraged*

You know what? The only "fighting" type of shows I like is WWE! LOL I know it's fake but it's entertaining to watch, and fun. Undertaker. :wtf

Street fights are good. Everyone has had a street fight once in their life, in my case much more then once. I hate street fights when the other person pulls out a knife. One of my mates got a slash across his right cheek because his opponent couldn't take it so he took out a knife.

Sometimes Karate and Martial arts don't come in handy on the streets. Karata and Martial arts plays by the rules, street fighting don't bound by no rules.

School fights can happen both outside and inside, in my case when there was a school fight outside it wasn't too far away from the school itself. I only fight for self defence usually, I don't try to fight as soon as someone disses, first I'll just take the piss out of them and see what happens, and also no one tried to go at me seriously when I was in school, they usually pick on people who can't fight back.

Getting aggressive over an idiot disqualifies that person for being my boyfriend, tbh. He only shows that he has himself not in control over a simple matter, so he obviously won't be able to have a cool head over important things as well. At school, I generally refused to go out with the guys who were actively involved in fights.

Wrong impression of me.

I was always the youngest girl in the class. Rather small, shy and not talking too loud. If I'd have to judge on the relationship to the guys in my class, I'd say that they felt protective on me. I remember countless times were my classmates strongly backed me up.

We had a really good class with everyone being more or less friend with the others. Certainly we had circles as well but were all able to communicate with each other and easily agreed on topics concerning the whole class. If there was a problem with a single classmate and someone from outside of school, he had 27 people behind him like a wall. We had a very strong community feeling for each other - and I talk about two classes at two different schools. I luckily never experienced a 'problematic school' although my second school would statistically count as such.

Going to a strip club, if he's into that, isn't as bad. Consider this, if he sees you having a video chat with some guy on the internet, that's a bit more personal and intimate. Sounds kinda weird, but it's one on one where as a strip club is an environment. I don't necessarily agree with what the ex did, but I would have been unsettled as well. A video chat carries some certain stigma with it, like almost as if you're cheating on him with someone else.

Can you compare a girl without bra to a topless guy? It's quite normal for me to see guys with naked torsos while for men it's certainly more of a highlight when a girl is taking off everything around the top. Though, it's a frequent view at the public baths in summer as well but I guess that's not a situation which could be misinterpreted? *think*

As for a girl taking off her shirt while covering the breast - why should I be upset about it without knowing the situation? I'm changing as well besides friends as long as I keep the bra on (or turn my back to them when I don't wear one, I hate wearing those) and don't mind when others do it. Among friends, that's quite... normal? I don't really know how else to change at our beach otherwise, there's simply no place to hide oO;

I fail seeing the difference here between a webchat and being physically in the same room, which he never minded because the situation ('changing the shirt') is clear to everyone through the general uninterested behavior of all persons around. If it's a erotic situation, you see the participants acting like it. And I wasn't even looking at my monitor at that time.

Agreed eni, that's overreacting like hell. Broke his hand on the door? I mean, what the shit. I wouldn't even do that if I actually caught my girlfriend cheating -_-; I'm not the biggest bulk of testosteron you'd come across but seriously, that sounds far from normal.

Jealousy is a tricky thing anyway. Guys may punch through a door, but girls begin friggin stealth-operations and whatnot if they get jealous or insecure. It's just about control and having the common sense to communicate about it.

eni
July 21, 2009, 05:51 AM
He's extreme jealous, yeah. To the point that he would fetch me from a party for the whole reason to make sure that I didn't end up with another guy and constantly trying to get all my male friends out of my life -.-

I have so many threats as sms on my handy on the line of "fine, stay an hour longer because of your new lover and I jump in front of a train!" that I could summarize them into a book <.<

Does handy mean mobile phone? And that sounds a bit extreme.

Phoenix946
July 21, 2009, 06:22 AM
Wow, I was gonna say see it as a sign of caring, but... you just have a stalker on your hands. Isn't that kind of scary actually? Man I wouldn't be able to live normally with a person like that. A little bit of jealousy could be cute and makes for nice joke-material, but if it gets too much... ugh.

A good friend of mine is the jealous type, but since we've known each other for multiple years now, I know exactly how to deal with it. That and she isn't my girlfriend -_-;

eni
July 21, 2009, 06:35 AM
'Handy' is the common German term for mobile phone, jupp.

And yeah, there's a point where jealously gets ridicolous and the person in question actually only reaches the opposite effect with his behavior .__.

blai
July 21, 2009, 06:47 AM
The feeling "Jealous" is okay to a certain extent. Like, yeah ofc you worry if your bf/gf goes out with someone you don't know. I would get jealous then - if it's someone complete random that she haven't told me about but if it's someone I know, like I know this is a guy friend of hers that she've known for a while then yeah sure, do what you want lol but if it goes to an extent, and even to the (sorry) ridiculous amount that your ex built up eni it makes me partly happy that you two broke up because It wasn't healthy for neither one of you.
Though I know that, for example, a male friend of mine is on the line between good jealous and silly jealous but he knows it himself and he doesn't want to be jealous but he can't help himself. Partly because he can't trust her to 100% since she's been flirting with guys at the early stage of their relationship but the other part he can't understand. He just is jealous, he can't help himself for that...

Oh and I just looked out of the window and one of the painters that's painting our house is super-hot. Like one year older than me or something, blonde nice curves and everything. And she's painting just outside my window now lol...
"Heey... How u doin'?"

One interesting thing though, when I went to the stadium, most of the locals here (including me) are wearing Man Utd jersey or any kind of shirt hat says Manchester United on it while most of the foreigners I've meet are wearing Malaysia National Team jersey complete with headbands and all and they even join in with our national team chant! Brilliant stuff! XD

*think*

As for a girl taking off her shirt while covering the breast - why should I be upset about it without knowing the situation? I'm changing as well besides friends as long as I keep the bra on (or turn my back to them when I don't wear one, I hate wearing those) and don't mind when others do it. Among friends, that's quite... normal? I don't really know how else to change at our beach otherwise, there's simply no place to hide oO;

I fail seeing the difference here between a webchat and being physically in the same room, which he never minded because the situation ('changing the shirt') is clear to everyone through the general uninterested behavior of all persons around. If it's a erotic situation, you see the participants acting like it. And I wasn't even looking at my monitor at that time.
well it's more about the way it comes off then what is actually happening. A guy taking his shirt off in the same room with you can be crystal clear if he's just taking the shirt off and you're at your computer or doing something else. Unless you're pretty much right in front of him when he's taking the shirt off or you're taking the shirt off, it can look rather innocent (though, call me a prude, who changes alone with another person that isn't your significant other?). But when he walks in and sees you interested and concentrated on a video chat on your computer screen (regardless if you were looking at the screen or not) and sees a guy undressing, clearly you can see why he would get jealous, no? I don't agree with him blowing up, but don't you think it's a bit naive, and inconsiderate, to go, "oh, he should have asked what was going on before blowing his lid...there was nothing going on, it was innocent."

Either way, the way you describe makes him sound like an insecure jerk. Also, handy means something completely different (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=handy)...like if you're addressing germans, they might get it, but for everyone else...not so much.

Hey there Hound! I don't think I've met you before ^_^
Cool to see a new (old) face here!

Uhm, well, if it weren't for work my vacation would've been great, just great. Well, it's still fairly good, everything's going steadily better! How's your vacation so far? Do you also have that sick heat in Bulgaria as they do have in Hungary? Heard it's unbearable around the Szeged area... And they were awaiting some kinda storm too... was supposed to rain, snow and hail at the same time or something... sounded weird.

Hey, Blai. ^^ Well, I know you, but we haven't met. Not too late, though. :p
"New (old)" sounds interesting. :D

I'm having a really nice vacation so far. ^^ Been with a lot of friends here and there. Won't go to the sea though. >< And I really wanted to...

Weather was changing a lot here too in the beginning of the month. One day, it was sunny. The next day - no sun for two weeks. Some storms too. (Blah, I hate heavy rain). Then it got sunny again... for a day. xD And after some rain, it's been sunny so far. ^^ We're expecting a lot of heat too. Something like 40 degrees C, or even more. We're gonna get roasted. xD

Cool! Go to Croatia! My mom worked as a tourist guide in Pula and according to her it's a beautiful place. I haven't bothered to visit that town but someday I will! The Adriatic is beautiful.
I'm kinda jealous but still I'm not? I mean, your heat will be awesome but at the same time it'll get on you if it's that hot for a long time.. But the rain/heat weather is something I wish we could have in the cold north... We had our 35+ish heat in June for 2-3 weeks. Since then we've had around 20 with constantly recurring rain -_-''

Vacation for me = Twice work, no school. So the only difference is that I'm working instead of studying, and no homeworks either ^_^ And girls @ the beach ofc :wtf

I prefer backpacking actually, and low budget accomodations... as long as it's a small cozy inn with some blues/jazz music in the reception and a good atmosphere I'll love it. Backapacking gives more excitement! Not going to the normal tourist attractions but going to see the nature in your own way, experience how to live like the "normal people" of that country.

I wanna backpack through northern Africa or go through train from Latvia through Russia into Japan.

But that ain't cheap either... Give me 5years...

I agree with you blai. Going bakcpacking has more appeal to me too. It's like you're going on an adventure, journey to the unkonwn! Many name their pets after noticeable qualities the animal may have. You can choose a name based on the color of the puppy's fur or eyes, or after the pattern on its coat.

You can also choose a name based on its habits. Does it frequently tear shoes to shreds? Does it often defecate on your bed? Does it prefer to eat your food over its own?

You can name it after your favorite fictional character, or you can just give it a plain name, like John, Ryan, Jane, Amy, and so forth.

Not sure bout Virtua Tennis, but I know that it makes a huge difference. Like now if you are to take your hand and turn it around your head like your spinning a lasso, it will register that, also it registers wrist motion as well. It really makes a huge, difference. I was skeptical at first cause I was like "O NO NOT ANOTHER ATTACHMENT I NEED TO GET" but it really is worth it. Plus its not that bad to get them because it comes with a few games. I got Wii Sports Resort and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 so now I have two. So I recommend getting the motion plus, but get it with a game and not separately just cause you save some money and get a game, Plus it doesn't work on every game, just the newer ones that utilize that technology ;)

50"tv is a lot of money wow loool. The average size tv now would be 40" and that is a good size and also with the new LED tvs coming out. LCD tvs are so much cheaper.

It would be great if wii did what xbox360 is doing with that motion sensing stuff. Because wii was originally the only console that does it, so why can't they advance it to the next level.

I have a wii, got it for christmas two years ago. Only my little sister plays it now and that is very unlikely sadly.

^Do you know why the LEDs are so much more expensive? 40% of them are tossed right off the factory line because they don't function properly. So only 60% produced actually function well enough to be sold, hence the high cost in store. In fact, if you look at just the cost to make LEDs, like materialwise, they're actually cheaper. To hook up to my TVs I run mini-display port > DVI > HDMI on my macbook, and then on my pc I just run HDMI out. I could technically run VGA out too but meh, not nearly as good. It's just based on what ports your computer has and what ones your TV has.

That do indeed sound awesome Asus... I'm just afraid my economy can't afford a PS3 and a 50"TV... I have a like 36" or something. It works, 1080p gives flawless graphics :wtf

I might actually save up money for the wii motion thingy and Virtua Tennis. I've played vt at a friends place and it was AWESOME so I might save up for it...
Even tho it'll take a year because the school starts so I have to move back to my apartment... aah it was such a carefree time @ parents place... no bills... nothing :x lol (apart from appy bill)
I hope the new motion sensor thing will be available for like SSBB or a new SSB game. That would be cool. More intense movements and not just one-button spam.
Not to break your chops but it wouldn't work for SSBB, lol. The whole point of the wii motion plus is that it makes your three dimensional movements work in the game your playing, but......SSBB is a two dimensional game, so as a result the wii motion plus would/should do nothing for it. It doesn't just work on any game either, you need to have the newer games which are made surrounding this hardware that will be made to work with it and give you that 3 dimensional motion action.

Not for me, the classic 2D style is what made the game so ill, I wouldn't change that for the world :D. Only way I'd be ok with it was if there was like an extra mode that was 3D, yet the other mode still remains the main one with 2D style of play. It just wouldn't feel right to get rid of those game mechanics just to use the Wii Motion Plus, if they were to do that then I wouldn't see the game as being a SSB, it would be a completely new series of games then. Just wouldn't fit ;)

If a SSB game was supposed to go 3-D it would lose that touch wii has of not bringing the best graphics. nintendo does not spend much time on nintendo exclusive game graphics compared to microsoft and sony. Wii bringing in the motion plus compensates in their opinion for the graphics that other next gen consoles have

Now if SSB was to be in 3D firstly it will take almost forever and it will also take away the cartoony effect where the character flies at super speed when getting critically damaged.
The level of graphics for SSB 3d would be something similar to Dragonball z Budokai 1!!!!

anyways this should go to the game thread hangout ;) I learnt that from Blai-_-;

No we are talking about the gameplay not the graphics :(, lol. 3D as in 3dimensional gameplay (your behind your character), SSB is 2D as in 2Dimensionak gameplay (flat screen and your viewing the characters from the side). He wants them to make a 3Dimensional gameplay version of SSB, I personally wouldn't like that cause then to that wouldn't be SSB but a completely new game series they are making.
