Sasuke wants to destroy konoha and kill all the villagers, i don't think that even if other kages are present that would stop him. But considering that danzou looks like someone who makes other do his dirty work, I don#t think he could train is eye enough for MS. Or if he's Tobi.

Look, I hate the guy too but Kishi has a common habit of building up a 'middle' bad guy character then turning him to a Good guy in the end (think Itachi, Neji, hell, even Sai :blink)...

As Sai says, Danzou's actions are in the interests of the village. No matter the consequences and how ugly they are he did it with the village in mind. He wants to be Hokage afterall.

Madara may wish to kill Danzou because he has a sharingun. Or may wish to kill him, if it turns out Danzou is Madara's brother, because unlike him who tried to destroy the leaf in revenge, Danzou is trying to protect it.

If Madara gave Danzou an eye (after he gave him both in the past), then he may want Danzou dead so he can reclaim his eye for the Eye of the Moon plan, returning Madara to his former strength.

The reason he gave the eye back to his brother, who would still be alive after his eyes taken out (Madara lied when he said he was dead) was because there was no reason to fight wars anymore, and Madara said he didn't take his eyes selfishly, so it's only reasonable he gives one back.

Now that Danzou is trying to be Hokage, this spits in the face of Madara, who now wants Danzou dead, his old eye and his former glory back!!

Anyone see the spoilers for the latest chapter of Sharingan? It looks pretty interesting. Another person with Sharingan, why is it not a surprise -_-;

I don't see how people can get upset if Danzou has the Sharingan. Though I did find it kind of unexpected to be revealed this soon, this is where Kishi is a great writer.

There are lots of theories which can be built:

1. Oro always wanted the Sharingan and Danzou had a connection with Oro, maybe Oro experimented on Danzou.
2. Danzou took a Sharingan eye during the Massacre to replace his right eye.
3. Danzou took Obito's right Sharingan during the Ninja war, just because his right side of the face was crushed don't mean the eye was crushed, he was still able to speak even after it was crushed.
4. He might have a connection with Madara, NOT he IS Madara. Just partners in secrecy and he might have given an eye to Danzou.

Those are better theories then Danzou is Madara. Please, this theory is getting worse by every minute. And Danzou is Uchiha. He is not an Uchiha.

Also Kishi isn't running out of ideas, this just made the story much better.

Now we know why he had the eye covered up because it was a Sharingan eye. Can you imagine what the Konoha people would react if they saw him with the Sharingan?

Also if he can get the eye working better then we might see him using the eye like no one else would be able to, maybe.

I think he tried to recreate Oro's experiments and that's why he needs Kabuto now. He wanted the Uchiha power to help him accomplish his dream, but it rejected him.

Just because he has a Sharingan, it doesn't mean he is an Uchiha. Kakashi has a Sharingan, is he an Uchiha? -_-;

And I think his Sharingan works the same way with Kakashi's Sharingan, it was implanted in Danzou's right eye to replace his normal damaged eye.

Instead of wasting chakra and showing everyone he has the Sharingan eye, he keeps it covered up. :)

Impossible. He fought with the 3rd for the title of hokage. When the kyuubi showed up Minato was already the 4th so danzou was around before that.

If danzou can turn off his right eye sharingan then I think it stands to reason that he's an actual uchiha. A transplanted eye should be like kakashi's and impossible to turn off.

Well, considering all of the damage he has and will cause, I don't think that's accurate at all. Dealing with Orochimaru was to help the village? Setting Yahiko up was for the village? Not allowing Naruto to come back to the village, to save the freakin village, was for the village? That makes no sense whatsoever.

Hindsight is always 20/20. A lot of plans can look decent/good when conceived and seem ill-conceived when some strange thing takes place 20 years later. Who has that kind of foresight? And even if something bad happens down the line, it doesn't even mean the plan was bad to begin with.

If he was Madara's brother who willingly offered up his eyes he would have a grudge to the Uchiha, who instead of honouring their sacrfice to better the Uchiha battle capability, instead made peace with Senju.

This would leave some bad blood towards Madara's bro who took his eyes out for his clan and felt betrayed. This is if Danzou is Madara's brother.

Well i agree with jdw, cuz the byakugan has been severly downgraded by kishi. It goes back to WTF again. Cuz we are talking about a clan that its eye technique was considered so powerful they freaking mark anybody with it that is not head family. I would have expected that kind of secrecy and protection to the sharingan cuz it has proven to have many more secrets and hidden dangerous powers.

I'm still waiting for the byakugan to show some hidden power cuz being a member of that clan sucks big time.

The new Danzo-Sharingan spoiler has given me an idea. Im sure that someone has already said this but anyway.....

What if it was Danzo, rather than Tobi who is Madara, I will go on to support this. From the previous chapter we can see the Danzo is in a bad physical condition (eye and arm), this could have been a result of the battle between him and the First Hokage - Itachi himself said that Madara is a shadow of his former self. Madara wanted to become Hokage, so did Danzo. But then who is Tobi? The person who stands out to me as being Tobi would be Madaras brother however I cannot justify this, or any of the for that matter....

Well you have to see how many things he has introduced in the manga that he has to put screentime in everything. Sharingan is the main Doujutsu throughout the manga, it all started with the Sharingan, I wouldn't be surprised if it ended with the Sharingan.

He is not an Uchiha. Kakashi has the Sharingan but is he an Uchiha? The eye is implanted to maybe replace his damaged eye or just was experimented upon by Orochimaru.

But a Ninja attacking the hokage just before the summit.. that is big enough means to start a Ninja war? its an attempted assassination.. if hes wearing, a mist/Rock/cloud forehead protector, someone like Danzou will have no problem reinforcing Konoha's status by declaring war..

It is big enough but it depends who is doing the attacking. If it is Akatsuki, it would be a war against a terror cell. It if it nin in good standing from a country, it could spark a war :)

The Byakugan has to remain pure and clean, it's the Sharingan which is tainted these days. A bad guy having the Byakugan would mean the Byakugan would be turned into a bad power because every villain uses it to a bad extent, hence why Kishi made Oro go after the Sharingan and not the Byakugan.

No for the reasons in my post. Because he was the sacrifice his clan ignored. This would cause a grudge towards the Uchiha. After seeing them over the years revert back into their war like state and attempt a coup I can contempt forming towards them.

1) it took almost 15-20 chapters for the cloud ninjas to reach konoha (assuming those tht happened is a one day event)..WTH...Raikage's secretary shows up in Konoha in just 15 mins or so??(not even a single chapter apart??)..the time frame seems not right

The new Danzo-Sharingan spoiler has given me an idea. Im sure that someone has already said this but anyway.....

What if it was Danzo, rather than Tobi who is Madara, I will go on to support this. From the previous chapter we can see the Danzo is in a bad physical condition (eye and arm), this could have been a result of the battle between him and the First Hokage - Itachi himself said that Madara is a shadow of his former self. Madara wanted to become Hokage, so did Danzo. But then who is Tobi? The person who stands out to me as being Tobi would be Madaras brother however I cannot justify this, or any of the for that matter....

- Danzou being Madara/Tobi (WAY too many things killed this theory)

Now, the possibility of him being an Uchiha can exist but too many issues and contradictions would arise.


My Thoughts:

If he has a Sharingan then he probably lost his original eye to Sarutobi and then LATER replaced it with a Sharingan, from who/where I have no idea but I highly doubt Sarutobi, his long time Rival would miss something like Danzou Aquiring a Sharingan.
Though I have no idea how he "broke" his Sharingan after he got it...

He's not!
It's just like Kakashi. He must have lose his eyes and ask the help of someone (probably Orochimaru) to get a Sharingan implant.

The whole Sakura situation is getting on my nerves. If she still loves Sasuke despite everything he has done and despite everything Naruto has done for her I'll be severly dissapointed. I agree that same eye that Danzo has covered is the same eye that Mandara has for show I dont know maybe both Izuna and Mandara took out each others eyes for EMS ??? Yes But Kakashi can't turn his Sharingan off EVER! Only the Uchiha can turn theirs on and off at will. If Danzou used a process similar to what Rin did for Kakashi then Daznou's Sharingan should be on 24/7. Now maybe he used a technique that gives him control over it, but that has yet to be established.

This chapter is going to be good. The storyline is branching off into a few directions right now with the kage summit being the main focus. Outside of that we will surely see the squad danzo sent after kabuto in a battle with him. Danzo has faith they can get the job done, they have to get the medical data from kabuto thats no easy task. We also have the "8 tails rescue" with naruto and the cloud nin, but it might not happen. As for the sharingan in his right eye... thats.... just..................awesome.

In the past, we have received accurate spoilers with highly inaccurate parts. I am calling bullshit on the section of ohana's spoiler that says Danzou unwrapped his eye and there was a sharingan. My reasons are simple:

1) He stated last chapter that he wanted to have something done about / done to fix his right arm and right eye. What is there to fix about a damned SHARINGAN?

2) He did not unwrap that eye when root was attacked in retribution by nagato using Gedo Mazo... Why would he unwrap it now to defend himself against a couple of bafoons?

Well to me just arrived, and unless i missed something she doesn't know his a jinchuriki, and kishi went out of his way and made samui remember a conversation of the villagers not that somebody told her his konoha's jinchuuriki.

So to me, she's acknowledging naruto as somebody important. Which will need protection as head and commander of the village.

You can’t put much stock in travel times in the world of Naruto. It took Naruto & company 3 days to run to the Sand village, but a bird gets there in a few minutes and Gai’s team only took a day. Shikamaru’s team was chasing the Sound 4 for at least 2 days, but it only took Kimimaro like a few minutes to reach them. If you try to gauge the story’s plausibility by travel times then you’re going to go insane. You just can’t do it because it isn’t consistent by any measure – therefore you can’t use it as a measuring rod.

I disagree. When Sauske killed Orochimaru, it seemed like everyone on the freaking planet knew it in about ten seconds. You think that Naruto beating Pain – the leader of Akatsuki – wouldn’t be big news? Of course it would. Everyone on the planet probably knows Naruto whupped Pain by now. He’s the biggest bad@$$ mofo ninja celebrity on the planet for the time being.

As to why Raikage would want to see him? Any number of reasons… Could be to meet this uber ninja that beat Pain… Could be to see the 9-tails Jinchuriiki… Could be to try and get Sauske intel out of him… The list goes on. It is not unusual that a visiting dignitary would want to see the #1 top-dog hero ninja of Konoha who has the Kyuubi in his gut and was on the same team as the guy who nabbed Killerbee.

That is one way to think of it, but it could also bring those same Akatsuki people into the range of the Raikage. Not that Raikage would probably care, but those who intend to protect him might :)

i think they will become relevant again, epsecially since they were/are one of the strongest clans in the narutoverse, and kishi hasnt shown what happened to them. i think this is the sole reason tsunande is alive, so when kishi does start dropping revelation about them it will not be so unexpected.

also i cant wait to see how danzou got his sharingan................is a a uchiha or is did he get it via kakashi special. if thats the case then anone can have the sharingan

I'm almost 100% sure that naruto has some kind a bloodline limit that only he (the only survivor of his clan) can use. And I prefer that to be something neat not like any damn senju -_-

if he is traveling and is not under attack, he can go into sage mode as often as he likes. His chakra won't really be getting depleted so he wont have to worry about not having enough to balance natural energy
