All the codes may look confusing but it's a matter of learning but a fast learning andd once you get into it, it'll be an enjoyment for all.

Before reading:
1. all * should be left out, all *** should be filled

白『別に恥じることはないさどんな一流の剣士でも死ぬのは怖いものね』
元気し包帯が巻かれていない、涙を流した左目だけで白を見る
白『神様ってのは無情だと思わないかい？　決していい行いをした者を長生きさせるわけじゃないそこの善良なドクターやカワイイ看護士さんも簡単にころされちゃうし
　君のような立派で人徳のある剣士ですら修行の遠征中にたかが流行の病で命を失っても知らん顔だ… 僕が神ならそうはしないな』

元気し(その後…奇跡が起こったあの方が救ってくれたのだ…
　あのじだいにまだなかったはずのワクチンを授けてくれた…)
ベッドの上で人間元気しポカーン。眉毛が長いように見える。
　(一時はオレを病に貶めた神を恨んだがオレの主は他にいたのだ！！)
　(この日より俺は力の全てを新たな神に捧げることを誓ったそして神のために全ての命令を実行してきた…）

幻騎士（それは誰より神が…白蘭様が知っている…！！オレを見捨てることなど…)
幻騎士の顔アップ絵からメキャメキャメキャと雲桔梗増殖。皮膚の下にも蔓？が這いずり回ってる
メキャキャキャキャキャ　ボッと全身から雲桔梗増殖。
元気し『がっぐああああ！！！！』
山本『おい元気し！！なんだ！？どうしたんだ！？』
入江『山本君元気しに一体何が起こってるんだい！？』
山本『体中に草が生えてる… 殺気がねーし …元気しの幻覚じゃねえ！』
入江『何だって！？』
ツナ「！？」

青ざめた顔で見ている京子とハルの視界を遮るように、二人の前にスッと移動するディーノ
ディーノ『毒サソリ』『何か飲みたい…』
ビアンキ「…！」
　『オーケー向こうに冷蔵庫があったわ行きましょう！』
グイ　グッ　と京子とハルの顔を見せないように体ごと動かすビアンキ
ズキュ　メキャと顔面皮膚内の蔓？増殖中の幻騎士の顔
元気し『ぐああっ白蘭様がオレを殺すはずはない！！桔梗！！図ったな！！』
にっこり白『ハハハ相変わらず思い込み激しいな～げんちゃんは本当によくやってくれたよ小さい器なりに』
真顔白蘭『でも飽きちゃったから割るんだ』
体中から雲桔梗の幹が生えてる元気し『残念だな桔梗！！白蘭様は必ずまたオレを救ってくださる！！』
　『このげんきしこそが白蘭様の最も忠実なる僕！！』

頭から生えた数本の幹がバキャッ　と幻騎士の兜を割る

白目剥き始める幻騎士『ぐ…』『がは…』

唇以外雲桔梗密生の幻騎士（死への恐怖はまるでなく… 穏やかだ）
フッと笑う唇の形のアップ（オレには神がついているのだからな…)

- Chapter is called "Genkishi's last moment"
- Yama defeats Genkishi.
- Genkishi asks "why won't you deliver the final blow to me?"
- Yama replies with "because we're not killers"
- But then it seems Bellflower has planted Cloud-type bellflowers inside his armour to make him disappear, bellflowers start growing out of Genkishi, making him explode in the end, though Yama tried to save him.
- Byakuran doesn't seem to care about it at all, and this makes Tsuna more determined to win the fight.
- It seems Gokudera will put up a defence and Yamamoto and Tsuna will attack.

the only real difference is that i thought Genkishi would be killed after the fight which would piss off Tsuna

Looks like the chapter will end with Gokudera preparing for a fight

We don't know weather Rasiel and Olgert were killed or not. They got hit, no doubt, but Rasiel was supposed to be dead before, and he came back to life. Besides, I think he should fight against bel seriously.

well its uri with upgades. thank you Pandaaqueen for the raw and translation. Now whats gonna happen with the Kikyou fight. i cant think that Gokudera will take a back seat in this one, his hot headedness and his yerning to prove himself to Tsuna is what makes him Gokudera. and while he has matured to a point to let Yamamoto protect the Boss and even team up with him and teach Ryohei and Lambo, he still is a Impulsive son of a __________ and will wanna fight Kikyou. Right Hand to Right Hand. the thing is that even with the boss and his 2 most trusted guardians they might not be enough to beat Kikyou. we are all agreed that Floaty head dude will be back if not this round then soon, right? and though we as a fanbase may have played up the hype of the FW but thats not all there is to them. the fact that Byakuran is still calm is proof enough for me that he knows that they will not lose this round.

Well, we still don't know how many rounds there are...(I think it's seven, a round for each battlefield)...it can be that byakuran doesn't care for this round since he himself isn't fighting and that he's sure that He can kill the vongola by himself (or bluebell, will do it for him, seems to be his bitch-.-*[/extremebluebellbashing])

I would like to point out that that was Xanxus that did that. Not Tsuna's family. Plus, the Varia don't necessarily recognize Tsuna as the tenth boss, yet it wouldn't mean that they won't assist where it is needed.

@Broken: The translation actually says that Bluebell kills Genkishi. Not Kikyou. =/

Well, the trans says "bellflower" and I thought it was Bluebell at first, too, but Kikyou also means Chinese bellflower, and also, "bellflower" used Cloud flames to kill Genkishi, like stasiasan pointed out. ^_^; But in any case, thanks for providing the trans! :D

I wonder if in the next round the target that shoots out DW flames will appear on one of the girls or non-DW person. But what will happen if it does? Since they can't use a DW.

Yes they can.

They both Emitted Flames when shot with the Dying Will Bullet. in the daily life arcs.

They probably just don't have anywhere near the power of the Flames that everyone else has.

Vester's roar DID shatter the petrified Olgert. He must be dead. Basically, the same happened to Rasiel as well. Of course, we can't know this for certain, however, it would be pretty lame if he suddenly popped up after getting hit by the flame of wrath. Dunno.

Oda already told the reason for that, it's more humiliating to leave them alive, and most of Luffy's past enemies turn out to be Luffy's new allies in some point. But it really is true that shonen manga's authors don't want to kill characters
there has already been some shonen with lots of deaths, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is an example, some of the deads in that shonen: (William Zeppeli, Jonathan Joestar, Caesar Zeppeli, Abvdol, Iggy, Kakyoin, etc...) it's a long list so i won't continue xD

back to Reborn! it seems the guardians are really pissed by Genkishi's death and byakuran and the others having no reactions or feelings, in fact they have killed him, Yamamoto specially, i think even more that when he fought Squalo and he saw him "die"

The fact that he was killed by his own team mates right there is I think sopposed to be the shock factor. As Yamamoto said they dont kill but they will beat the crap out of you. Genkishi deserved to get punishment, probably incarsaration or something but I don't think he deserved to be killed off by the same team he worked for in the first place. Looking forward to reading the actual scan tomorrow hopefuly!

Reborn! is about the mafia, though. Deaths are actually a must.

But i agree with panda, since it's a mafia story there should be more deaths.
And I really liked the panel with all the blood splatter of Gen xD*facepalm myself* But why do they all die in front of Yamamoto(again, like Squalo was thought dead)? I believe he's rather pessimistic and has weak mentality[i mean, he did try to commit suicide[wonder what squalo would do if he ever found out, hehe]).

Well, Olgert wasn't important, but Rasiel could reappear. Like Gen who was obviously sown together from pieces.

That's what i thought. I actually think she's already dead...well, she was introduced by Byakuran as "the corpse that lives on". And she has a lot of scars and stitches, maybe she can be sown together.

Holy crap, I would hate to be Yamamoto's losing opponent, they really do always immediately face some horribly bloody death (or quasi-death) after he tries to spare them, lol. Anyone else notice Yamamoto is consistently the focus character for the "You'll have to kill someone someday" moral? Both Squalo and Reborn have given him that kind of attention. Then his TYL version is the one that lands the fact that he definitely kills people - that disappointed "not deep enough" on a sword slash.

I wonder if he'll be able to hold to his values in this new timeline? Probably not, but I like seeing that element of his character brought up consistently. (I guess nobody's worried about Gokudera's resolve to kill for Tenth, lol. But seriously, Yamamoto gets more killing speeches than Tsuna! Well, when you're the Boss' natural born hitman...)

Can't wait to see the chapter!

Tnx for the trans and raw! Maybe Genkishi is still alive, I mean Squalo survived a shark attack plus this is shounen ;)
Also the first people killed in Reborn were the ones by Prince the ripper at the beginning of the Varia arc, they had no names but still.

There is a difference between what happened to Squalo and what happened to Genkishi. First, Squalo got bitten by a shark and the second after he was saved by Dino's men. Genkishi exploded from the inside. He's dead.

And a fact i think alot of you arent getting is that the Vongola dont like Genkishi. they just dont like the way Byakuran would use his men like that.

And finally for people that have died in the series, there has actually been alot. no real important people but alot of of screen and "logical" deaths ie the amount of people TYLHibari killed when the Millifiore tried to invade VHQ. The only real important people that have died have been the Vongola bosses, Gokudera's mom, and Yamamoto's dad.

Well, Yamamoto was kind like Tsuna (but I wonder which "I'll not kill people" philosophy will last). I really want to see how Gokudera upgrades his Sistema C.A.I....
We all know Gokudera is somewhat under Tsuna, HIbari, And Yamamoto (and Mukuro?) in terms of power, and he's really relying on his brain and tactics to win... I mean, how can he suppose to win with the current level of Sistema...

Kikyou's box is cool!! with plants growing from the body and finally explode... if im not wrong its Campanula di nuvola right? meaning bellflower of cloud...
Genkishi had a quite dramatic death...but thats lucky for him to have so many chance to talk even he's dying soon...if im not wrong,seems like the flashback shows about Genkishi's "unique" eyebrows...haha:tem

Just finished reading Chinese scans (its here http://www.lightnovel.cn/viewthread.php?tid=132778&extra=page%3D1 if anyone wants to read it) and I have to say Genkishi backstory is quite sobworthy (and Byakuran is a bastard...). No new battles but I felt this is one of the better chapters storywise.

I don't want to see about Gen's eyebrows...I want some Goku-action!
Kikyo is kind of cool, too make him explode like that, but I still think that he/she will withdraw from battle somehow, because there were hints on a Kikyo-Hibari conflict.

Also the way battle is now the tecs and Goku will go against Kikyo, and Yama and Tsuna will team up against daisy. This is the first time these two fight together, isn't it?

After looking at the chinese raw, i have to say, Byakuran is pretty messed up if he stabbed those two attendants the way he did...no shame, that one. Dx

Let me remind you that Hayato had already faced Gamma once, so there is advantage numero uno, two is that Gamma had accidentally knocked Uri into Kangaryuu causing him to grow, and three would be his haxed out box weapon having several attributes.

I would have liked to have seen him fight Gamma without all of the above and saw how he truly fared...probably no better than Yamamoto's first encounter with Genkishi, im sure...in fact, didn't he and Yamamoto both lose to him the first time? D:

Looking at his battle overall there was an element of good luck on his side whereas Yamamoto had some bad luck, so as far as who's better i would say neither, they each have their respective talents/faults.

But if you wanna draw straws, Fuuta ranked Yamamoto second strongest in Namimori. ;D

gokudera is not gonna have his solo fight? or kikyou will attack the vongola base next chapter and its time for gokudera to action!! hope it actually doesn't end just after one round of choice...by the way,choice have lots of rounds or just a single game and the end? if it just end without showing the upgrades of other guardian,it will be no fun!! and until now,mukuro is still not mentioned...(amano-sensei really "killed" him?!:o)

I new that would kinda tick you off lol. you like Yamamoto i like Gokudera and Lambo so were both kinda biased. :P. But Gokudera lost first and then won the second time same with Yamamoto.

Genkishi is DEAD (Hopefully or this may become a really bad series) and i never really liked him. All mist users come back but we havent seen them come back twice as Mkuro has yet to come back after loseing to Byakuran. it would be nice to see the Varia fighting cause if there are more than 3 rounds the Vongola Guardians themselves wont cut itI wasn't as ticked off as i was shocked that you make that kind of statement considering that Gokudera lost his first battle to Gamma...and hasn't even shown what he's really capable of after his training...

It was a bit of an overestimation is all im saying. xP

After seeing the translation im kinda mad that Yamamoto didn't deal the finishing blow. D:<

Genkishi had to die at the hands of one of his supposed allies with no respect from Byakuran to speak of, what a dishonorable way to be killed.

At least if Yamamoto had done him the same courtesy that Genkishi was going to give him he would have died with the respect he deserved as a swordsman and not some puppet to be tossed aside...even if he was one. ;_;

i just realized something why tsuna is the only one who has a helmet when he is on the bike, its bacuase of his dying will flame he has one on his head and it will be detected if he leave it without a way to hide it.

Tsuna is riding the motor without being in hyper mode so is definetly not for his FW flame. It's rather because is.....you know....no good Tsuna sometimes ;).
Yama did the right thing not killing Gen, why would he when his enemy is already down. If he did it would make him a cold blooded murderer instead of a warrior. Goku will probably having a hard time since the enemy knows that Tsuna and Yama are going to attack and will speed up taking Ieri out.

Lol, let's not damn Reborn to being a bad series just for not killing characters. Remember Genkishi is an illusionist. He COULD still be alive. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing those doctors getting shanked by Byakuran and it'd be REAL NICE if Genkishi was actually dead, but don't be shocked if he ever does show up again XD They're still only fifteen years old, I think is what Amano wants us to keep in mind, when Yamamoto doesn't want to kill and the older mafia members shield the younger ones' eyes.

Plus giving Genkishi an honorable death sure didn't fall on Yamamoto's shoulders! That guy didn't even want to fight him sword to sword, and cheated Squalo out of a fair match :P

Gokudera will have Moscas to back him up...(not sure how useful they will be against a straight up take no prisoners FW) so let's hope he did have time to upgrade his abilities more. I think he will now have the ability to make Uri grow on command...other than that, guess we will have to wait and see.

Gokudera is better than Yamamoto he beat Gamma who was at full power and Yamamoto lost Badly (insert wall joke) to Genkishi. Tsuna is the Boss and Hibari is Hibari there is NO way he is better than them but MAYBE Yamamoto is on par with Gokudera, MAYBE.

well, I'll bet for Yama being stronger than Goku...
First of all, Yama's instinct and prowess was shown in the Daily life Arc (in Family Entrance test and Yamamoto's Training). Second, on Fuuta's ranking list which Yama placed second while Goku placed 3rd. Third, in terms of opponents, Yama's opponents were always stronger than Goku's opponents... (in Kokuyo arc Yama fought Lancia while Goku fought Chikusa and Ken and in Melone invasion, Goku fought Gamma while Yama fought Genkishi... well, we all know that Genkishi was the stronger fake funeral wreath...)...

But in fairness to Goku, he still managed to be conscious (at least longer than Yama)... hehehe... and Goku would have trained during the Training 2 arc (before the Choice) hehehe... Goku trains using theories and strategies would be better...

For Byakuran's cure... maybe that was one of his "powers" and maybe one of the conditions was fulfilled or it might be a temporary cure that involves Byakuran planting seeds inside... (c'mon, why do you need an antivirus if you suffered from burns...)... and I really wonder how DAisy would fight the TsunaYama team-up...

I think, Goku will win but will end up beaten badly. It's always like that.

Before the Choice. Goku don't have a tutor right? He's the one tutoring Ryohei and Lambo,he can't practice at full concentration. While Yama has Squalo. Goku need to self study to became stronger while Yama needs some to teach him. I think that's why Yama is stronger.

you're right... since Goku only has Shamal to teach him... it's just my opinion but... well, it appears to me that Goku was unwelcome to the family and is only there due to necessity... well, an example is Reborn's affinity to Yamamoto in the daily life arc (well, Reborn trained Yamamoto while he only played at Goku's hair... and during the future arc) and also, Goku was always given annoying tasks... (tutoring the stupid pair) while Yama had Squalo as a tutor...

But luckily, Goku's two friends (Tsuna and Yama) understands him quite well... Tsuna being ever-patient to him and Yama for being understanding to him... I hope he gets the recognition he deserves... if not he's just like Chrome and Genkishi... they are only there because they have a function...

You cant really compare Gokudera and Yamamoto for so many reasons. its funny because people are using some of the most unusual ways to differentiate them.

The only real thing this chapter has made me think about is what the cure Byakuran gave to Genkishi was. after the trans and scans come out itll be one of the most important things to look at.

In the next chapter I hope King mosca shows up. It was a pretty cool mecha but I don't think it will stand a chance against Kikyou.

Just saw the chapter. Damn, wow, Genkishi's death is epic. Death by flowers. And Byakuran is really creepy. Uni must know about Genkishi's origins. She did say she understands why Genkishi betrayed them. And I wonder if Gamma saw Genkishi's defeat?

Nope Nalex is right. At the start of the series Tsuna's age level were all 13. A year passed with the Kokuyo and Daily life arc, so they turned 14. Finally the Varia arc and Milifiore arc are taking place in the same year. But they are nearing 15 or are 15 depending the timeline.

So i guess we didnt find anything about Byakuran's connection to time. That sucks. But we did see him as one crazy sadistic mofo

I thought Hibari is older since many people, even before tsuna appears is afraid of him[ try browsing the earlier chapters.]

Arcobaleno's age is confusing it worsen after knowing that Luche is actually Uni's grand mother.

Varia's age isn't shown, and others too..

Lambo is five but he looks like a 2 year old cow..

Ya he did but it was in the same year and time frame of the Kokuyo land arc so most poeple dont consider it one full year until the start of the Varia arc.

The only real confusing ages are the Arcobalenos.

Adding to the age debate, Hibari is probably older than 15 since in one CD drama Ryohei commented that Hibari was already the head of the discipline committee when he went started at the school.

But Hibari can't be too old since he still hasn't undergone puberty (otherwise TYL!Hibari won't be so tall) so I'm guessing he's 17 at the most and a late bloomer.

I just wanted to say that Gokudera is.. sort of like Levi in a way. Always wanting to impress the "boss" and doesn't like it when someone else (namely.. Yamamoto :Haha) gets the attention or praise from the "boss". In this chapter (248) Gokudera doesn't look the least bit happy about Tsuna going something like, "Alright, Yamamoto!" or whatever.. when Yamamoto won..lol. Oh, well. I just found it to be amusing. *shrugs*

But, farewell Gen. I disliked you from the get go.. but, now I feel sorry for you. At least you had pretty flowers with you when you died! Even if they were the cause of your death... ¬___¬

hehehe... Kikyou's like Kurama in Yuyu Hakusho (wonders if the spelling is correct)... and at least, flowers won't be needed in his funeral...

Gokudera vs. Kikyou would be a spectacle to watch but I think that Kikyou would win... (just wants Gokudera to lose bigtime to unleash his true potential... hehehe)

i dont feel sorry for genkishi for getting what byakuran did to him, its actually fitting for him to die that way without honor because he was not honorable to being with even with his reason to fight for byakuran. i have a feeling that byakuran was mybe the one who made that virus.

i would love to see the fight of gokudera, i dont think he is like levi, he is much more better than that but i will stop myself on that.

gokudera have grown so much in all of the arch from some one who did not treasure himself and someone that will not work with yamamoto, he is talking a defensive role in the team, the old gokudera would be on the for front of the fight but he became the defensive right hand man which make sence because his future self was not able to do that to the future tsuna. i would love to see what the 1st gereration weapon uri will change into. i think it will be some sort of sheild type of weapon because even if seem out of his character gokudera is a very protective type of person than his very hot headed personality.

Having Gokudera lose to Kikiyou doesnt make much sense. Yama was defeated by Genkishi it gave a chance for TYLHibari to fight. We've already seen Yama and Tsuna fight meaning that if one of them fight they'll have to go all out which would just suck.

In what way is Gokudera protective of the family AY!. We havent seen him take a hit for anybody and I dont think he would take a hit for anybody other than Tsuna AY!. He sees Yamamoto as a nuisance to his of right hand man, hates Lambo, doesnt really like Ryohei or Hibari, and doesnt trust Chrome AY!.

About the shield, I think its more plausible for Lambo to get the shield AY!. His role as the thunder guardian is to take the blows to protect the boss AY!. I see Goku getting something else AY!. Its hard to figure what Gokudera is going to get but since I think his Ancestor is the military man he might get something like a tank AY!. Oh, just thought of it, wouldnt Goku look ridiculously cool with a sniper AY!. It just seems to fit him so well AY!. T I think I just found out the mystery of Goku's weapon, if you want me to tell you the future weapons of any other guardian just reply calling me King Gucci AY!.

I do agree with that and I also do agree with him being protective of the Family (despite the fact that he doesn't like Lambo all that much, he still went and protected Lambo from Levi AND he saved/helped Ryohei. So he IS indeed protective). However! I was just saying that both are very much into their "bosses" and they get somewhat jealous when either boss pays attention or praises someone else. That is all. :tem

Anyway, *brakes off that topic* you, ikacantik, may be right about the next chapter being about Daisy. I hope not though. For I do wish to see Gokudera fight. AND I also wish to see/hear about the 1st Storm Guardian.

Poor Levi, nobody gives him the benifit of the doubt because he only has a supporting role (still I can't disagree with you guys :amuse). I would be suprised if Goku did win in a fight against Kikiyo. It's the general consensus now that the funeral wreaths are hidng their powers and as Kikiyo is the right hand man this presuably makes him second strongest (however this isn't definate.)
Either way him losing at this stage would be disapointing, even though i'm not supporting the Millfiore. Right now though it's looking like Goku will fight later, which is fine by me as I think we've had enouth box weapon revelations for a bit.

i think the reason Daisy said "no good" when "it"(?) saw the guardians coming, was not because it's afraid to loose but maybe because it's scared of the pain...since i don't think it can die. Does anyone think that bunny has any function?

I think Ginger might be something to Byakuran like Iemitsu was to the IX Vongola. Not necessarily the second in command but Something like that, a high a high ranking offical like Xanxus would have been if he accepted Raseil's proposition. Gingerbread took out 2 Arcobaleno... you have to be on a superior level to pull that off. It would befitting if Gingerbread was Daisy in some fashion or another... cause then it would seem plausible as to why 2 Arcobaleno were taken out by him/her.

I personally beileve that all the FW have mix-flames, I mean it would really explain the lava eruption in http://www.onemanga.com/Katekyo_Hitman_Reborn/228/06/, or that Zukuro resolution could have been so strong that it could have caused the volcanoes to reaction, for example in the anime Hibari resolution was so strong when he was angry that the surface around him began to shake. The FW all having mix-flames is just another way to show how powerful and different they are compared with Vongola/Varia who both only have two-mix ring users as of now (XANXAS and Gokudera).

Is there a reason why week in and week out there in only one Spoiler thread and not one dedicated to Spoiler Pics and Summaries, and another dedicated to Spoiler Discussion?

This organization is pretty dumb and makes it much harder to look for newly added translations and pictures as the volume of posts in this thread increase. Searching through multiple pages for a new spoiler is a pretty foolish idea.

Calling out you mods, get the ball rolling and create two threads from now on. I don't care if you think this board isn't worthy of two threads because it isn't visited enough. Its pretty easy to make two threads so do it from now on.

Is there a reason why week in and week out there in only one Spoiler thread and not one dedicated to Spoiler Pics and Summaries, and another dedicated to Spoiler Discussion?

This organization is pretty dumb and makes it much harder to look for newly added translations and pictures as the volume of posts in this thread increase. Searching through multiple pages for a new spoiler is a pretty foolish idea.

Calling out you mods, get the ball rolling and create two threads from now on. I don't care if you think this board isn't worthy of two threads because it isn't visited enough. Its pretty easy to make two threads so do it from now on.

Another translation by kyokugen [BA] <3

A bit too busy to do a full translation, but basically it says that after Gokudera's box is initally sealed (something about complications of using the Vongola box with the existing Sistema CAI) he manages to unlock a "New Sistema CAI" and his belt changes. He struggles with Kikyou, who manages to incapacitate him for the moment.

Meanwhile, Tsuna is heading over to Daisy's location when he hesitates above the place where Torikabuto fell. He notices his contacts seem to have broken, and senses something strange going on. Torikabuto comes up from the abyss, calling Tsuna a pitiful person.

Back at the base, Irie demands to know whats going on. Tsuna replies that its Torikabuto. Tsuna begins to wonder if he's trapped within one of Torikabuto's illusions.

It ends with mentioning that Yamamoto is closest to the site where Tsuna supposedly is.

i wonder why Kikyou just escape after growing plants out of Gokudera's belt...
after Kikyou destroy the decoys,he's only 1km away from the base where Gokudera came to stop him,but since the plants cause Gokudera to be unable to open his boxes,why doesn't Kikyou continue??

Now,Yamamoto being the nearest to Daisy... Is Amano-sensei going to focus on Tsuna or Yamamoto in the next chapter?

(oh my,i keep asking stupid questions... ><)

i believe the other guardians, currently as audience, would get a chance to battle after this game of choice,no matter if choice have only 1 round or many rounds... (Amano-sensei is not going to show us their upgraded box and weapon, and not letting them fight...?) so i guess its not only 1 round of game or, Byakuran would cheat so that everyone would have to stop him with all their power...(?)

Definetly there will be more rounds, the thing is what are the rewards for winning a round. Do the winner get the loser's rings or does one group have to win a certain numbers of rounds (4 out of 7 or something like that)?
Kikyou has to plant his seeds first I quess but he must have some trick that allows him to do so without anyone noticing.

Its like a word play.Sun can activate it making it grow faster/grow other stuff etc. At the same time cloud can make the seed grow bigger or even propergate into other shape etc. Oh the endless possiblities.

Yaeh, maybe all the FW have double flames. Torikabuto also had two. And Irie used his sun attribute for flowers as well, so that would make sense. it would also be easier to explain Zakuro's bath in the vulcono (like Lighting's hardening and Strom's degenaration)

Yamamoto is on his way to Daisy & I doubt that he'll fool around. Don't understimate the Vongola and his allies as we shouldn't have understimated the real FW, like Torikabuto, who is still able to fight.

Back to the topic, if really Torikabuto is still alive, he has to show us his Millefiore box, and every FW should have a Millefiore box too.
As the chapters pass i think more and more that the match will end DRAW, but with Daisy being beaten up and Irie about to be killed, or being killed (which i would not like because Irie seems the typical character that hides something [apart from the pact with TYL Tsuna and TYL Hibari], as if he really knew to fight or something).
That will make Kikyo or another Millefiore say something like "in this war you have to kill to survive"
i wonder how Gamma and the others will arrive there...

welcome. even byakuran means White Orchid but i doubt that Kikyou is useing his main box now. However i dont think that Torikabuto was useing his main box either so it may be that Kikyou just has two boxes that have to do with Flowers or that the boxes have nothing to do with Flowers, which is very very unlikely

Sorry if I didn't make that too clear in my trans, but at that time I wasn't too sure either. But now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure Tsuna means his contact lenses because 1) the way contact was "spelled" makes it more likely to mean the lenses and 2) Tsuna's surroundings were distorting, so it makes sense that he would ask for the contacts to be repaired. :3

i don't like the fact that Amano sensei seems to prefer Yamato over every other character, one would asume Tsuna is the main character no? (even though i don't like him that much) i just hopes this marvelous manga don't go down de Naruto path (making someone else besides de main character the stronges, allthough some might argue that reborn is the prinsipal since his name is the name of the manga)

Yeah...totally not okay for him to have some face time...AFTER SMASHING HIS FACE INTO A WALL. yep.

This is called Hitman Reborn! Now I would be thinking it's about Reborn, but no, somehow after 200 chapters, I think it's more about Tsuna AND THE people revolving around him. So yes, it sorta is about Reborn, sorta his story of how he tutored Tsuna to become the Vongola Boss. Take out the "Hitman Reborn", you got the loser Tsuna.

Just because Yamamoto gets 2 or so chapters of facetime, might not exactly mean Amano prefers him. (Totally okay with me though. ;D)

Just view it like this:

Tsuna actually gets to fight an actual Funeral Wrath. He gets the real deal. + I wasn't quite impressed by the box weapon.

Yamamoto gets Genkishi. REVENGE, Sweet. But he only got the stupid lightweight/grunt/cannon fodder/plot device. Whatever you want to call it.

So...Tsuna gets to fight Tori once...and now again? Somehow, this isn't adding up to Yamamoto having being preferred...weird...

Everyone will get their time to shine as they have in the past chapters... if it is Yamamoto's time then whatever. We don't need to start to assume the manga is shifting directions just cause it spends time developing a character that really did not get developed in the Invasion arc.

I believe (using recent chapters as evidence) that Reborn! is about how the first generation is being "reborn" in the 10th generation. Now I know people may not like this, but remember that Buddhism is a little bit more popular and excepted in Japan, so the idea of "reincarnation" would make sense.

This does not mean that the 10th generation will start changing who they are, into more on who the 1st generation was. Just means they have the same spirit and ways of doing the same as the 1st.

Anyway, stay out of the deep side of the pool... meaning no more of, "this character this and this character that". Unless it is about theories on them, cool? :D

there is so much secret about the transedant box weapon. i like that fact that its not just animals that can be used as weapon but also plants which is cool also.

I think 'Reborn!' means many things, I still believe 'Reborn' is pointed to the hitman arcobaleno Reborn. but also has implicit meaning to the generations and people of Vongola (maybe other mafias too.)

as we know, and as I've enjoyed this manga for a period of time, I feel like when thing happens, it's always about reincarnation, not only the people, but some incident/animal/armor etc. or something like that

well, yep... in my opinion, the tittle reborn refers to several things, first everyone will care about the baby hitman; mystery, then the dying will; true feelings, and the last arc involved the reincarnation of the primero vongola's family; purity.

the main character is definitely tsuna, but this manga is special as its about mafia and family, the development of many people is needed... and there's no need to complain, as always everyone will shine soon or later, but takeshi, thanks to his killer instinct, has facilities to train...

yeah, I agree with ghost... well, Mukuro's stages was based on samsara... and maybe, Tsuna's family would show uncanny resemblance to the strongest Vongola inner family (the 1st's inner family) and how they would solve the problem, just like how the Vongola began (i guess)...

about the FW having multiple flames can be considered since there's no way Byakuran would pick a Genkishi-level person to be a FW... and I'm wondering if Uni would fight in the choice... considering she's the Black spell division leader and how about the other members of the VAria... well, if Squalo is there, why not include the rest and have an all-out rumble... hehehehe....

I reread the previous chapters and it said at one point that all A and above officers have a main box and a sub box. So all of them use multiple boxes, no big surprise there.

And I'm pretty sure that Uni will fight in the same battle as Gamma(on the Vongola side this time), but Tsuna won't be. Lussuria might not fight, since he's more of a nurse.

Untill now it seems to petrify object and living things, but it seems also to neutralise things like the nuts cape version did.
Yama is the perfect guy to take out Daisy because of his flame type, I bet the cloud FW knows this and wants to take out Ieri as fast as possible and therefore leaving Goku aside. It is also a perfect way to save Goku's vongola box for next time if Amano wants to stall it.

i see the flame relationships this way...
since sun is activation add rain is tranquility, those two might cancel each other out for the sun hastens cell and movements while rain stops it... if we would base the results based on Lal - Ginger fight, Yama can win against Daisy...and since Daisy is the target, she has the disadvantage... but then again Daisy is a FW...

Sky is petrification in which it harmonizes with the other flames and rendering them useless by turning them to stone, just like Tsuna and Nuts which they made the sea snakes stone through the Sky's harmony...

Gokudera's new CAI makes me very excited but I think Amano would introduce it during the first round...

Well Rain can tranquilise all other flames.Though we have yet to see the full capabilities of Sky's harmony its pretty much hax(to me) since it has rain's 'tranquilising' ability(in a sense, since it can harmonise and break past em ) plus who knows what ability. It would be hilarious if Kikyou 's box weapon (perhaps even all the FW's) is a seed that will bloom into a flower that the FW's were named after.
Off topic question: Was Gokudera's sun rocket fueled with storm flame or was it just a pure sun flamed rocket.

thanks for the trans man. seems interesting, i wonder what the full story is.
So its pretty cool that we see some close range combat between Gokudera and Kikyou. so i guess Kikyou moves at high speeds. Kikyou seems pretty smart because by getting right up into Gokudera's face he wasn't able to use any boxes except Uri.

i guess i was sorta right with the whole set up with the three matches. Im gunna guess it'll start with Tsuna with little clips of Yamamoto and Gokudera then switch over to Gokudera's fight then end off with the whole team going against Daisy.

According to the translations, it sounds like Tsuna's in a jam. He might have been under an illusion every since he "beat" Tobi...er... the Milliefiore Mist Furneral Wreath (I forget how to spell his name.) Of course we won't know until the completed translation comes out (unless you can read chinese/japanese).

Oh, and it seems like Kikyou IS skipping over Gokudera in order to get to the Vongola base. Why else would Gokudera say "Running away?"

One more thing: About the boxes, technically Irie's box weapon (Melone Base) had plants in them too (Giant Venus flytraps), so it's not impossible for the box weapons of the Milliefiore Funeral Wreaths to be plant-based. Actually, I'm kinda hoping for it.

Gokudera wasnt actually owned. he was stalled. Kikyou ran away after that. plus he has Uri out. Uri will probably just cut the vines and then they'll chase after Kikyou

And his strategy was pretty smart based on the info he had.

1. We dont know how exactly Kikyou destroys the decoys. Meaning it could be close range or long range. By being in the middle of an open road it forces Kikyou to attack directly rather than attack from behind something and allows the attack to be easily seen. Because of that we now know that Kikyou is a close range fighter apparently

2. He was able to open Uri meaning he was planning something.

the only part he messed up on was the fact he didnt account for Kikyou's speed which he could have because all he did was fly around destroying decoys.

Kikyo seem to be good at CQC and his plants are great for distracting/immobilizing his enemy. I wonder if his true Box weapon will give him any mid/long range abilities as he tried to get rid of Sistema C.A.I rather quickly.....

seems like Amano-sensei likes to give the Mist some "come back" chance...(LOL)
Mukuro: being defeated in Kokuyo arc,being caught by Vendicare. But return to us as a Vongola Guardian!
Genkishi: given 3 fighting chance,against Yamamoto twice and once against Tsuna... but still die in the end,killed by his "ally".
Torikabuto: "defeated" by Tsuna initially but came back again just in few chapters! but seems like his reappear didnt shock all of us...(haha)

Well I just think that their plan is to double team on Daisy. Since they believe that Torikabuto was eliminated and since Genkishi is dead, it would now be 5 (Gokudera, Yama, Tsuna, Spanner, Irie) v 2 (Kikyou, Daisy). Gokudera is defending and wouldve fought Kikyou while Yama and Tsuna rushes to eliminate Daisy but they didn't count on Torikabuto's return.

On another note, Kikyou's power is interesting. Of course it wouldn't be the Transcendent Box weapon but one of his own personal weapons. If anyone has read Yu Yu Hakusho, I'd say it would be like Kurama's powers (throwing seeds, death plants, etc).

Poor Uri, being slapped away, no wonder he takes it out on Goku :p. Kikyou is very fast, too fast, I think Goku is a very poor match up since his speed much lower compared to Yama, Tsuna and Hibari. I think the one who reached Ieri or Daisy first is most likely the winner.

that was a nice chapter but it made me want to see more almost like a teaser than a chapter.

a little off topic any body seen the anime it kinda shifted to the arcobaleno arch right in the middle of the future arch. i wonder if amano sensei is going to use the anime to show case the rest of the arcobaleno i guess this is what every body was asking the arcobaleno arch will be starting in the anime on the very next episode.

I actually do hope that round #1 will be soon over. Don't get me wrong! I love the setting & the fights have all been pretty cool up to now. Nevertheless, the current constellation (Yama/Goku/Tsuna) is nothing really special, if you ask me. Dunno. I guess I wanna be surprised. Lol.

the trans are out and it seems pretty cool that everything slowly got worse for the Vongola. instead of it happening all at the same time. i srsly want to see the new S CAI. Considering the fact it got an upgrade by the VB and that he used all 5 flames to open it most likely means he can switch flames mid fire.

Great chapter. Everyone's going to hate me for saying this but I've been eagerly anticipating the funeral wreaths come back. Looks like we won't find out about Goku's V box for awhile but if what reborn said was correct (Goku's box is an extension of the CAI) then I'm confused again. Didn't the adult Gokudera first come up with the idea. Either way Amano will probably drag out it's true function for as long as possible like in the Melon base invasion.

Just kidding! It's good that the FW are no pushovers, otherwise those mare rings are just for decoration for our (s)hemales. What's really anoying is the way Kikyou says that Bayakuran own everthing already and only plays this game for fun. I hope the Vongola win this round to wipe that smirk off the mare holders faces :).

If the Vongola Box is an extention of the System CAI, does that mean tha the original Storm Guardian (the First) possessed a system CAI too? But, box weapons didn't exist back then... (They were Out-Of-Time technology or something like that.) So, how does that work? And now, Yama's all alone against Daisy and Tsuna stuck in an illusion of epic proportions. Looks like the Mist Furneral Wrath's Illusion could be strong enough to overcome and even overwhelm Tsuna's Hyper Intuition... (I'm secretly waiting for that to happen...) Welp, looks like feces has hit the fan folks...

I think this chapter introduced the upcoming battles pretty well.

Goku is by far the smartest of all the Guardians and has to fight against a funeral wreath who is able to disable his boxes in close range and is unbelievably fast therefore he has to rethink his strategy to fight against him.

Tsuna has to fight against an illusionist and does not have his usual hyper intuition advantage now.

Yama has to fight against a presumed Zombie/Manic with the Sun flame which means he has very high stamina and healing abilities. Plus the rain's calm and the sun's activation are opposites and cancel each other.

I'm pretty interested how each of them will fight against their "worst" enemies. The Millefiore are at a clear advantage now.

No. S CAI was an original weapon made by Innocenti (at least a majority of it was). Most likely the S CAI we saw before was an incomplete form and when he opened his VB it gave it an upgrade. So most likely Gokudera looked for the S CAI because it went so well with his VB

well the I Vongola's family's reign was 400 years prior to the Main story line so the First's Famliy was alive in 1600. I found that crossbow pistols were around and i think that something like that could have been used by the I Storm Guardian (Gokudera uses Flame Arrow) and could have had a shield or body armor. so useing that Innocenti been told by TYL Gokudera to make somrthing to compliment that

I also think that most of them were weaker than our guardians now. ( TYLyamamoto couldn't ignition a flame on kintoki, and TYL hibari couldn't really use his box weapons to all extent.)

its not like the future guardians never had the VBs, they did use them before Tsuna broke the rings. meaning that they did use the VBs most likely way before the Vongola rings were gone.

Chances are that the future guardians are stronger than the current guardians. Primarily because they were the ones who designed the fighting style that the boxes are used for. unless your referring to the TYL guardians without the VBs then your right, the current guardians are much stronger.

I've just had an idea (possibly). It's been mentioned that the rings flame was known about before the current time period so prahaps the vongola box is like a support box that improves the power of the other flames. This would explain why Goku can now grow Uri without Ryohei's support. The only problem is that it is a storm attribute box so it can't actualy improve any other flame types.

what i belive is that the next chapter could have a result of this round of choice , because Kikyo is really close to irie and he is fast , and even if yamamoto is faster than Kikyo i think that daisy can hold back yamamoto more time that irie , the only hope that have the vongola now is that gokudera disable that flowers of Kikyo , what i like of this chapter is that the FW where basically playing whit the vongola family

My sentiments exactly. It seems like that it's only now that Milliefiore is getting serious. Let's see if they won't regret holding back.

@ toni783: I feel it might take at least the next 3 chapters for this to finish. We have to see how Tsuna handles the Mist Funeral Wreath, Yamamoto vs Daisy, and if Spanner & Irie have any defense systems for the base.

I don't think that they will interrupt this CHOICE battle and go to the Arcobaleno, if they do... it will be a short deal. Kinda like (if anyone is familiar with it) how Bleach did it's Pendulum arc... short and to the point.

Otherwise, i think it will play out after this current battle.

ya i dont it will interup also but i wont be like bleach, i think it will be more like when certain people fight they will have a flash back to a certain arcobaleno, like let say ipin was in one of the matches his master will be shown in a flash back or if reborn is fighting something about him will be revealed, or if uni was on the fight something about her mother/grandmother will flash back, or with chorme will have flash backs with mammons video tape, rather than just stopping and doing a whole arc type of deal like bleach does. just like when we are shown about gamma's relation to uni it was more like a flash back than a full stop.
