I can't really say that I am that knowledgeable about the K-pop or J-pop scene. But from the stuff I heard, I like. They do a pretty good job making things catchy.

But favorite one... probably "Chocolate Love" by SNSD. :p

I don't know if you're an American football fan, but NBC was showing the Celebrity match between the Hall of Famers and celebrities (Gamers vs Famers). Captain Awesome was in the Gamer team and he scored a touchdown (I would be thrilled if I caught a football from Joe Montana). He also passed a lot of 2 pt. conversions.

Baby steps is what I recommend. But really it boils down to... do you have extra money to burn? Them tablets are not cheap. Also do you plan to sit down and really teach yourself and learn the program well enough to warrant getting a tablet?

I am just now trying to learn web programming and the likes so that I can have some kinda foot in the door for what it takes to be a graphic designer in today's job market.

I have been stressed!! I got no job issues... buddy! I will stop with the depression when I can be able to live again. Job hunting is still total sh*t.

I am going back to school in January to get certified in teaching and I am also currently trying to teach myself web programming. Since I can't get a decent graphic design job without knowing web programming.

You should take it easy. Well, "no job issues" is a relief I guess. I know job prospects over here are bad as well. The news tends to "cover up" the intensity of it. There are people I know who've graduated and are stuck either unemployed or forced into working voluntry to "pass the time"...it's a real struggle atm. :( I hope you get a cool job soon. :thumbs

Web programming x graphic designs is a pretty sweet combo. Are you going to form a new portfolio of your most recent works once you get grips with the web programming side of things? What program are using btw for it?

the story behind my nickname... hrmmmm. Well it comes from several different places actually.

Ghost - comes from me being kinda on the pale side, I can't get a decent tan to save my life! :p Also, when I was younger I was kinda like a ghost... few people paid attention to me and I stayed out of the path of the "All seeing eye"!

Exiled - comes from always coming and going from places... I moved around a lot when I was younger. So it also felt that I was being exiled to a new place when I was younger.
This was asked waaaaaaaay back when this thread was opened... so here is what I stated. :)

Yep same over here. The story was very solid and some scenes were really strong. The most ambiguous scene - I always kinda like them for that - for me was the scene in which the cop killed that crawling zombie in the park whereas the black man couldn't kill the zombie/spouse...

Yeah...not sure if the father and son stay in the story, because I don't read the Graphic Novel. Shooting her would be catharsis, and letting her "live" might mean something bad for them.

It was a twist but somehow it was to be expected too. I don't know if he played his active lover role during the break out. Well, the dialogue in the car between the cops made me feel as if the cheating might have been ongoing already

^Yeah this series is more of a tragic one than a happy one... just letting you know. There are few are far between "happy" moments in this series. Think Gantz and/or Berserk... no one is safe from being knocked off.

The Black man and son do come back later on... but like I said... TRAGEDY!! :p

With that being said... the shows creators have mentioned that this will be its own beast, in a way. It will stay true to the key points of the series, but will explore others sides that were not really explored in the graphic novel.

Case in point is, the scene with the Black man trying to kill his wife... was not in the book.

Also the love thing between the partner and Ricks wife has been taken in a different manner.

I like supernatural and I think the reveals were good. I honestly didn't expect them to be revealed so fast. But Sam doesn't have a soul... Is it the same as what happened to Dean and Bobby when they made a deal with the demon? Or was their soul taken away instantly or only when the deadline took off?

Vampire diaries... tbh, the titles sounds really stupid. I am not so into vampire stuff either because there's too much vampires on TV nowadays. True blood is the sole exception I think

Do you have any exciting plans for the holidays?

Not really... but I did forget to update everyone with the news that I was offered an internship at a pretty big Web developing company that starts in January.

It will last for either 6 to 12 months based on performance. After it is completed I will be more experienced and knowledgeable about web development and may be able to get a job with the company or another one.

Other than that... just going to try and get your piece done and another that I have been kinda working on. :)

Do you have any idea how much busy you would be? I hope its not so taxing that you'd had to leave modding (momentarily)? I mean you must be hoping and doing your best to leave a positive impression on them, right.

I plan to stick around here as long as possible.

I start in January sometime... and only work for 20 hours a week.

It is also unpaid... :(

But I will be learning all kinds of good stuff for web programming and designing.

it means that I have been unemployed for a year and 4 months and there has been no sign of hope.

I was thinking of going back to school for something... but that costs shit loads of money.

This place is a company that is leading the way in web development.

So by interning there... I will be getting taught all this web stuff for FREE!!

Besides that... I have a friend that works there and has been there for sometime now... so he has put in a good word for me (putting my name at the top of the list) and if I do well enough during my internship... there is a possibility of being hired by them.

If not... I would still have all this new knowledge about web development that could get me work anywhere.

So I plan to bust my ass doing this internship so that I can come out with a job again.

Daddy needs to get paid... so that I can begin living like a 30 year old should. :D
