So after an intense previous chapter we leave off with Mashiro and Shujin put in hiatus until April, most likely due to pressure from Mashiros mother. Everyone's reaction was expected, when they found out Mashiros uncle was a former mangaka who died. Hiramaru didn't want to die from to much work, fukuda was surprised, and Azuki was pretty curious. So the chief editor spills the beans on the reason. This seems like a pretty extreme solution for Mashiro. He has to wait till April it seems. Lets look at it logically the arguments of both sides appear like this
Chief Editors arguments
- Their still young and have a lot of time to draw manga
- Mashiro is hospitalized so he doesn't want to endanger his health even more
- He feels responsible for Kawaguchi Taro's death in some way
- considered the feelings of Mashrios parents
Mashiros Argument
- Him and his uncle are two different people
- If he misses the deadline all the hard work they put in will be in vain
- He just loves Manga, and he needs his dream to come true
Also Mashiro compares himself to his uncle a number of times when he says his uncle drew manga, when he had 40 degree fever. So we know he wants to be just like him and idolises him in a way. If the editorial department refuses to run the manga than Mashiro will be forced to take a break.

So the editorial department made a mistake and serialized high school students, and they should never have. When the chief said they serialized Eji because they thought he was a genius, and it would make for good marketing. So they will never commit that mistake again. Since they are already serialized, they should be able to continue when they get out and not April. If the editorial department really to implement their new plan they could have done it, starting now, but let the previous ones still continue. So a way to get around this is quit school. If they are writing so much manga, and have the potential to make it big, than why take school. It has nothing to do with their career path as Mangaka. But unfortunately that doesn't work either because the Chief shuts down that idea as well. It's true anyone's
parents wouldn't want them to quit school just to write manga. So back at the editorial department, the editors are talking about Mashiro and how they don't want him dying on them which i believe is really extreme. This is were we can verify that the reason they can't run their manga is indeed that they are related to Kawaguchi Taro. So the editors come up with the conclusion that its not a very just decision.

Back in the hospital room we have one of my favourite and most unpredictable characters Hiramaru going face to face with the chief and
giving him a piece of his mind. He takes off and heads back to work on his manga, lets hope he can stay motivated for a longer time now. :D Poor Mr. Miura i felt pretty bad his situation. He as the readers truly know how he tried hard to convince the others on letting Mashiro and Shujin continue their manga, but i still felt really bad about it. What do u guys think about his role in all this. Could he have done more, or is what he did enough? He eventually apologizes for not being able to do anything and being powerless in all this.
After mashiro apologizes for getting sick, Azuki still gives him hope that their dream is still on. And that she will wait forever for him.

Eji's pencil nose always cracks me up lol. Now Eji comes up with a plan, so he decides to go on hiatus until Mashiro and Shujin are put off. It seems Fukuda, Aoki, and Hiramaru whose always looking for an excuse will go on hiatus as well. It seems this thing has gotten really big. All the staff at the Editorial department are talking about this. Most of them share the same opinion as most of us. April is absolutely ridiculous. So our Mangaka now meet and are discussing the future. They are taking this really seriously. They are all ready
to quit and draw somewhere else for the sake of one manga. Aoki who in the beginning i couldn't stand, tells Nakai to be a man. That the
first thing about her character that i actually liked.

In the editorial department the editors gather to discuss what happened and even they would like to protest. This shows at least they have balls to do something about the current situation. They get the phone call about Fukudas boycott and everyone is surprised and in panic. So Trap, Crow, Kiyoshi, Hideout Door, and Otters will be going on Hiatus to protest the injustice. We gotta love the editors reaction on Hide out door. Wtf who cares about it lol. They editors rally together to try the Mangaka to change their decision without telling the chief. So we have 5 Mangaka and 5 Editors at a local restaurant, cant wait for the next chapter. I hope the editors lose their battle and head back to the chief, and he changes his decision. Another factor in changing his decision might be Mashrio's father or grand father.
We have no seen them for a while and they are missing in action for a while so we might get to see them in the next chapter talking to the
chief.
Overall
it was an intense chapter for me it started off well but really picked up near the end with the boycott. Hope you guys enjoyed the review i actually have to head out to a wedding today, so i sorta rushed this one. Take care see you guys next week.
