I had fruit loops with milk for breakfast and kinda skipped lunch. Well, technically I had a ridiculous amount of peanuts but that hardly counts as lunch.

You were flushed down the toilet? :p
As per usual, I had coffee for breakfast. For lunch, I had chicken noodle soup and some pretzels and then for dinner I had roasted chicken and green beans. Now, I'm gonna go have a chocolate chip cookie (or two :3) for dessert.
Well, I did a lot of flushing~^^

Had roll at work with those tiny Rice Krispies Treat. Tried three different jerky thingie flavor samples, then cracker with spinach and cheese or whatever hummus, and raspberry and blackberry with whipped cream. Forgot if I did anything else. Tried instant ice coffee and TASTED LIKE SHIT. Ahem. I did not like the taste at all, so horrible and so putrid. I was not amused. that was the first sample I tried at Sam's Club.
Then at home, quesadilla for lunch and ziti for dinner. Maybe Bunches of Oats cereal for pre-midnight snack?

I went out with my friend to a gig in manila last night, so we didn't get home till about 7am... so we had Jollibee's (this fast food restaurant that's really popular in the Philippines) for breakfast.
http://www.daniellegifts.com/product_images/y/322/20090211_jollibee_560x375__53818_zoom.jpg
I had ice tea and pancakes, she had fried chicken and spaghetti.
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_fxvyQknGPOs/SfBrbd0sevI/AAAAAAAAAF4/F4W7UW2t-Ns/s320/Jollibee+spaghetti+matthew+marco+flickr.jpg
She said it was delicious but it looked pretty gross to me. :S
Afterwards we had something called "Taho" from a guy carrying two metal buckets on a yoke across his shoulders. It's basically a drink made of amibal, a brown sugar and vanilla syrup, and fresh silken tofu. They also have these little gelatinous balls floating in it. It's actually really interesting to watch them prepare it.
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_o1vj0V5WDPQ/TT1Mu3ivyTI/AAAAAAAAAN4/gVYg2Lz2wI0/s1600/800px-taho2.jpg
I always hear guys walking around the city with their buckets early in the morning crying "Tahooooo".
When we woke up and had lunch, everyone ate rice, chicken curry and 'barbeque' (chicken skewers) with a red vinegar type dipping sauce from Andoks, another Philippino fast food restaurant.
Simple but yummy! :amuse
That's it so far. :3

I tried a grapefruit risotto recipe. It said to add some white wine but since I'm in Germany, I don't have any so I put beer instead...
I'm crap with dressing so it didn't look at all like this

Rice with banana curry:
Onions rosted in a pan with a cutlet (aka first chicken meat to fall into my hands - main point is that there gotta be meat), adding cream, waiting for it to become viscous, adding squished banana and curry.
Eating a lot of fastfood these days since I got chemistry practicum until 18:00, but today I made something myself nonetheless.

What's a cheese quesadilla salad? Or are those two separate things? :p

I SAID CHEESEBURGERS, NOT HAMBURGERS. :-_- *chomps kkck*
There's buns, cheese, pickles, onions, and ketchup. Good enough for me, I don't trust fast food meat at all. I don't even trust fast food, but French fries are win. Otherwise, I can eat hamburgers and cheeseburgers with meat, just ask goodsy, xi0, or Kaiten. You honestly trust fast food meat?
Parathas are softer than naan. When they get a bit cool, like yesterday, it gets... freakin' hard to rip off and chew. -.- Looks like Mexican tortilla though. Google it, I have no idea how to describe it, especially since there are different kinds. Last night I had Malaysian paratha.

Wasn't there a experiment to show how unhealthy mcdonald's fries can be?
It lasted like what, 7 to 8 months without decaying or something.
I've stopped eating mcdonalds for a few months now, I don't trust them :noworry
Ate a sandwich for breakfast today..going to make macaroni and them bake them in tomato and cheese with flour.

Eh, it is unhealthy but it tastes awesome.
I had mozzarella sticks for... breakfast around 12:15PM, whole pie of pizza (tiny, very tiny, fit a normal plastic/paper/foam plate) at around 4:30, and two mangoes like, an hour ago.
Oh, and french vanilla ice coffee (Wawa second time ran out of normal ice coffee :-_-) and... Mountain Dew (DON'T SAY ANYTHING, GOODSY! :yelling). I forgot what else. :hurr

It looks like there are may different types. I love flat bread (except pita). I often make a pizza with a naan, and sometimes deep fried extra hard tortilla strips and sprinkle cinnamon sugar, which are greasy non-healthy sweets that I can't recommend to people. - I had blueberries, strawberries, a toast and coffee for brunch today. -

I tried a new Cuban restaurant last night. It looked like a hole in the wall from the outside, but was really lovely once I went in. I tried the Cuban sandwich, which was spectacular. I Had some sweet, fried plantains on the side. Definitely a place worth going back too, even if they don't have paella on the menu. Next time I'll try the Camarones al Ajillo (garlic shrimp) or Pargo Frito (fried red snapper).

Nothing very special yet so far today. I had a granola bar for breakfast, a cup of chili for lunch, and just got done eating a few handfuls of pretzels for an afternoon snack. I'm not sure what I'm going to be in the mood for at dinner time, but I was thinking about checking out the new Mexican restaurant down the street.

Nothing sounds better than combining pizza with pot pie. It's the grown up food equivalent of peanut butter cups: win on their own, an unstoppable force when combined. I assume it comes with complimentary stretcher and defibrillator. I haven't been this excited about food since the Baconator was introduced.

I had for lunch sub from Wawa: cheese, tomato (?), lettuce (?), grated parmesan, oil, vinegar, mayo, and... I thinkthat's it on the sub, and pickles on the side. For dinner it was homemade spaghetti with grated parmesan and garlic. GARLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIC!!!11 I may have put in too much garlic and I put in too much parmesan because I opened the wrong side, the one big hole one, without paying attention.
Tomorrow, I may have a burrito from Chipotle as dinner if I don't drink coffee or iced coffee. :|

Thats not a cheeseburger... like at all. Best case scenario thats a sandwhich, maybe a sub (not a good one) lol. Calling that a burger (of any kind) would be like me grabbing ketchup and cheese and calling it a pizza lol. I don't think fast food meat is top quality or anywhere remotely near healthy but I wouldn't go to a mcdonals, wendy's or BK and remove the one part that makes a burger a burger. wouldn't it be as easy to go elsewhere in most scenarios lol?
M3J

You make me a sad panda. :(
But, McDonald's French fries are the only reason I even go there. The cheeseburger was just to make sure I had something else and was as full as possible.
Today, I had pizza with Pepsi and soon, I'll have spicy Maggi noodles. :3 It's instant, like ramen, but more of that Indian flavor.

My brother and I visit my father every second weekend, from Friday to Sunday, which means that we get 3 meals. As my dad is not the best cook, the variety is rather small.
Fridays it's pasta, saturdays it's schnitzel with mashed potatoes and sundays we get chicken with mashed potatoes.I don't know if he has noticed it yet or if he does it on purpose.
Anyway, today i had pasta and i guess i know what he'll do for the rest of the week.
were spot on.

Sorry, missed your question about the couscous, it was many years ago and all I remember about it is that it tasted a bit bland. May have just been the person who made it, but since then I haven't tried it.

Couscous alone taste a bit bland. I recommend eating lightly fried zucchini/courgette (mücver) with it. Delicious with a little salt.

Tried a new sushi place tonight and was quite impressed. I got a chef's choice platter to sample the menu, included: sake (salmon), tai (red snapper), saba (mackerel), maguro (tuna), hamachi (yellowtail), ama ebi (raw shrimp), hirame (flounder), kani (cooked crab leg), and four California rolls. All nigiri with the exception of the California rolls. The chef was outstanding, the fish was cut perfectly, the rice was well pact and easy to eat. The fish was very fresh and cut to order. The drawback to chef's choice is that given the choice I would never order kani or saba. The hamachi, maguro, sake, and tai were particularly good, I will definitely get them again.

Since we had nothing but butter bread and eggs I decided to make something I read about once being a "Frog in a hole" where you cut out a circle in the bread butter it and then crack an egg open in the hole when frying it. It was pretty good but I think I should have looked up the recipe and not gone from memory cause it tastes like something is missing!

So far, I didn't have a super healthy day either. :paperbag At about 10:30, I had leftovers from brunch yesterday: bacon and banana pancakes topped with a warm praline sauce. It was soooo good that I couldn't let the rest of it go to waste, but I've already decided this is the last heavy meal I'm having until I go on vacation at the end of the week. So, until then, bring on the salads!

Sounds like Tiff had a feast :luv I am lazy and I often buy pre-cooked bacon, so that I don't need to clean up the grease in the kitchen. I often use bacon for my BLT. :)
Now that I see goldb's Totoro being back, I wish I made Totoro instead... I only made cats, and don't know why.

Here's an awesome blog to follow: Skinnytaste (http://www.skinnytaste.com/)
On a superficial level I love the photographs of the finished products; they all look so appetizing. The recipes themselves are easy to follow and provide a clear indication about how many calories, carbs, fats, fiber and protein there are in a dish.
I made Spaghetti with Sauteed Chicken and Grape Tomatoes (http://www.skinnytaste.com/2009/08/spaghetti-with-sauteed-chicken-and.html). It was too garlic-y for my family, but I love garlic so I didn't mind at all.

Today I went a Thai restaurant in town called Chaophraya (http://chaophraya.co.uk/menu/).
I had an Asian platter ( a selection of chicken satay, prawn tempura, chicken spring rolls, marinated pork with honey and Thai herbs. Served with a crispy duck salad.) to start with:
https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/537570_10151599533933009_2139304422_n.jpg
Followed by:
Khao Pad Graprao nua Khai Dao Spicy fried rice with beef and basil( Street-style traditional Thai fried rice with beef strips, fresh
chilli and garlic, topped with a fried egg.)
https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/68151_10151599534143009_1139178007_n.jpg
Whilst I greatly enjoyed the platter as starter, I was quite disappointed with the fried rice with beef main course; I've had many alternate versions of this dish and I've liked many previous ones than this. I should've got something else :darn
