Okay, I finally did it. I also have no idea how to put scans onto a file so I posted the photos on photobucket for people to use. I really hope that's okay. Please excuse the quality and the tears on the pages when I ripped them out of the magazine to fit in the scanner. I have to say, the Monthly Gangan is an ungodly size. I also added some of the fan art and favorite moments metioned in the fan section of Gangan after the end. Anyway, I hope this will do for now until someone puts out a cleaner version. I know y'all have been looking forword to this so knock yourselves out!!!!!!

I don't know what they said in the speech bubbles but I think it was quite sad and unfair for them all just "die" or what you could call that. Jio or Ruby didn't accomplish what they were after for so many years. "Yo, it's over now guys. Just because you're genseki."

I think Jio realized that he HAD friends and he WAS trusted and was able to beat Satan but... ah, what about the "nobody will ever love you part"? Did he realize he was loved? Not even a hug or kiss between him and Ruby. D: They DID like each other, didn't they?



Now I have to wait for the translation. Hopefully someone has time to do it. -.-

Well, I guess it is somewhat disappointing in a way but I can't complain. If it how Seishi wanted it to end then I'm fine with it. We didn't see anything we would want to see - but has the series ever been predictable at all? Seishi sure didn't do as "told", he stuck with his own thing.

Of course people would've wanted to see EXTREME action, blood and internal organs flying, attacks thrown at and by everyone, sweet JioRuby action and the coming back of the heroes - but wow, Seishi dared to be original and gave us nothing of this. And that makes it lame? Sheesh. Now I remember why I left the forums in the first place some time ago.

Now, that I've had time to cool off I think I have made peace with the ending and am satisfied with what I see so far. This is not the worst possible ending. It could have been worse. It may be hard for some of us to see that since we were all looking forward to something like what I mentioned above.

I know, I was looking forward to a good Ruby/Jio moment too. Seeing the pictures does not help when trying to figure out what happened. I think that may have all become a star, but I'll have to check it against a dictionary to make sure. This really is something none of us expected.

Sorry to add another post, but I completely agree. I did want Jio to have a happy ending, but not by kicking Satan's ass with Ruby glued to his face. I don't think any of them could've returned to a normal happy life with demons/angels living in them. And if Kaballah were to extract the demons/angels where would they go? I think Jio gave a genuine hero's farewell and it was a very fitting ending.

I have only ever seen like 5 666 fanfics...T___T I've actually been trying to write one though...*shiftyeyes* but yeah. Anyways, if you see any good ones be sure to let me know okay?? That fandom need waaaay more love.

And I didn't necessarily want to see them like get married and have kids or anything, but dang, a tender embrace would have been acceptable. Or god forbid they could have expressed their feelings for each other (as a little more than "friends").

I don't understand why kishi seishi rushed it too much. He finished evrything in 1 chapter. Jio defeated the ultimate villain of the series in 1 chapter by "will power" ??? O.o I have to admit that I prefer other battles much more than Jio's final battle. What about the fate of other characters ( Cross and the other demon/angel, wonder they died O.O).

And I can see kishi seishi took pictures from his previous chapters and put them in his next chapters when it is convenient -_-. Everyone is lazy, ok I don't blame him for that. But I feel he is bored with his own manga and decided to end it in one shot. Compare the ending to the great beginning of 666satan, you see what I am trying to say.

In a sense he did conquer the world, two in fact. First is as Ball has reasoned and the other one is because when they warped to another world it's Jio's decision alone on how to shape that world because he is "Freedom" which allows him to control Shin.

i really disliked the end, it was a huge disapointment for me. I really wanted resolution of what happened after they were transported. One thing i did not get was who were the 3 people with their heads sticking part of the way out of the sand towards the end. One looked like ruby which just really confused me.

I know what you mean and i haven't even gotten that far in shaman king yet (book 4 was recently released here in norway)

But it was a terriby disappointing ending by my account. I was aiming for a sort of Love Hina'ish ending where everyone is happy and we get to see Jio and Ruby together.
(so to whomever said most girls expected a lovers ending, you are somewhat right, but im a guy and i want to see that too.)

Okay 666 Satan is over and Jio and Ruby along with Cross,Zero and Jack has disappeared into the universe, and Ball and Mei are married with children. Seishi's next story can takes place in the same universe later on what do you want to happen? and do you think it might take it a little DBZish where as in dragon ball Goku and Piccolo are introduced as characters but then their race is expanded on in DBZ, just like Jio is found to the product of Adam and Eve aka Project FREEDOM, which can be greatly expanded.

I wasn't really expecting everything to turn out hunky-dory or anything, but dang. I just sort of sighed when I read it. It was an okay ending i suppose, but for real, there was no good emotional impact. No real sense of loss, or anything really intense that I was hoping for. The whole explanation of Satan was kind of....meh. I wanted something a little more thoughtful, a little more unique. The whole "adam and eve" thing was unnecessary. I didn't like it. But I'm not saying it was all bad. It was okay. Not the worst. I'm just disappointed because I was expecting so much more for the story. He built up so much emotional depth and then all of a sudden there's a whole anticlimactic ending and and it's done. I feel jipped. :(

Here's hoping that Seishi moves on to something awesome from here, though Jio was a great frigging character. Hard to top him. (heh! I was so not meaning for that to come out like it did.)

but still... I wanted to see Jio with Ruby, happily living having a lot of kids... maybe living next door to other characters... T_T
My guess is... that Seishi couldn't make a really happy ending because of Jios ambition
I mean, if the end was to be really happy, Jios dream must be reached, right?
But you can't make an end of a manga show your protagonist as an all-mighty Emperor of the Universe, right? And since Jios dream is to conquer the world... well hell, I can't think of a way to make a happy end AND keep the characters alive and kicking
making Jio a super duper King doesn't fit morally
so Seishi had to "fullfill" Jios dream and make him disappear, so that there wouldn't be any questions -_- Geeeez -_-
I hope he releases some extra chapters showing Jio Ruby and Cross living on another planet... Killing them off is just unfair T_T

Enjoyed it overall, but I wasn't really stunned by anything. It progressed a little fast I think and there were too many things left unexplored for me to really get into it. It didn't have the cool ending I was hoping for either :p

actually when re-reading the whole thing again in one go i agree with sharma, that it ended at the right time. Though i wanted an extra chapter to wrap things up even more.

definitely ended at a good length. I think some people just think the conclusion could have been a little longer (not like a whole new saga or anything). Anyway I liked the ending.

Also can someone clarify on who Jio Was. I saw on wikipedia it said Lucifer's consciousness got split in 2 and one of the parts was Jio, but I had thought that Jio was created to destroy Lucifer and Lucifer just got sucked into him when he attacked the Freedom Program.
