I'm having trouble with a few lines in these 3 chapters, and I'm hoping someone can help me with these.

今まで正義へ向かう気持ちが死なずにすんだのは
キミと言う目標ができたからだ
Today, my undying journey towards justice ends,
having reached my goal of becoming like you.
The above seems contradictory and out of character for the one speaking the dialogue. It seems strange to me that the character would say that his "undying" feelings for justice has ended. The second line also seems odd, because a few pages later, he tells the character he's speaking to that he "wants to catch up to him", which sort of implies that he hasn't reached his goal yet.

何も出来ずに混乱するだけの僕を余所に
I was paralyzed in confusion, trapped in another place.
The only part I'm having trouble with here is 「余所に」. It sticks out like a sore thumb, and I'm not sure I got this right.

フツーオレみてェなバケモノ見たら引くだろ
Psht- all you get with a monster like me is what you see.
I don't understand the usage of 「引く」 here.

無意識のうちに我々とのコンタクトを拒否してたんだろう
言っただろそのスーツ君の意識に直結してるんだ
And I wasn't getting calls from you either so...
Kouga-kun, you cut us off.
Eh?
You rejected contact with us to keep us blind.
We told you right? That suit is bound to your consciousness.
Are lines #1, #2 and #3 right? They sound awkward to me.

Yes, that's a 丸 between 「イ」 and 「ポ」. It looks like on of those cases where a character makes reference to something in another copyrighted work.... My guess is Ippo, but since the scene had nothing to do with boxing, I'm not sure I'm on the right track.

Couldn't understand this line at all.

Too much slurring, so again, couldn't make heads or tails of the line.

No idea what this is supposed to be. Is this some really obscure slang? I'm not finding it in any dictionary.

「めがい」 - can't find this in any dictionary.
