IMPORTANT NOTICE! PLEASE READ!

Greetings. Before I start with the review, there is something important I have to tell you. Akainu told me about a certain site/blog called Allmanga-Spoilers (http://allmanga-spoilers.blogspot.com). This site copied my reviews of 554 (http://allmanga-spoilers.blogspot.com/2009/08/one-piece-554-reviewanalysis.html), 555-556 (http://allmanga-spoilers.blogspot.com/2009/09/one-piece-556-review.html) and 558 (http://allmanga-spoilers.blogspot.com/2009/09/one-piece-558-review_26.html) and also Adrizsnk's review of 558 (http://allmanga-spoilers.blogspot.com/2009/09/one-piece-558-review.html) without our permission. We are not affiliated with this page! There are also these (http://allmanga-spoilers.blogspot.com/search/label/one%20piece%20predictions) interesting posts on that site and I'm 100% certain that they were also copied from a forum somewhere. If the admin of the site (Uzumaki the Pain) reads this, I advice him to stop posting our reviews and delete the ones already copied. I'm doing this for fun and I don't sit hours before my reviews so that you can just copy them and delete all credit to me... That said, let's get down to business!

Taken care of, ignore the text above. :)

Remembered & Zoro x Perona

http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/9650/25176396.jpg

So, what happened last week? We got some Ace and Luffy stuff, along with Jimbei destroying Zombies and Ivankov dotching Kuma's and Kizaru's lasers. It all ended with Luffy going Gear 3rd and knocking out a giant. What a great finish of a chapter that was!
This week's chapter opens with the anticipated cover story of Zoro! Finally! But instead of some love action between him and Perona we get a glimpse of the world outside the castle. There's a giant gravestone... maybe the gravestone of a giant? Is this gravestone important? Well, maybe. But to be honest, I got no idea. Maybe I can answer that question next week. So, the chapter is more interesting anyway... actually, it isn't IMO. ;_;

Page 02-04 Destiny

http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/9949/0203.jpg

The chapter of the title is destiny, and the first double spread already tells us what that means. Ace is talking about his future, be it good or bad, he will accept it. Finally he won't say and cry don't rescue me and stuff like that. He now just awaits what lies ahead of him. He is drawn strangely on this page and doesn't look like the Ace I remember. This Ace has accepted his fate and looks more like a drug addict... but it's a nice way to show that Ace has been mentally broken or at least damaged.
Got nothing to say to the page where Luffy, Iva and Jimbei are fighting...BESIDES that Luffy isn't in chibi form! Maybe we didn't see it, but just maybe he overcame this downside and he really is getting better with gear 2nd. ;)

Page 05-07 Buggy and Whitebeard

http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/4614/54941161.jpg

Now, I really didn't like that part. Buggy is starting to annoy me with every chapter because his ambition is just so stupid, unrealistic and... annoying. Well... okay, let's do this fast: Whitebeard calls Buggy a red nose, Buggy is pissed and then pisses his pants because it was Whitebeard. Whitebeard plays along and gets him to join the war on his side. Marco is surprised how dumb Buggy really is.
Whitebeard then gives the command of all pirates (!) over to the Decalban Brothers.

Page 08-11 Nobody fucks with Moria Jimbei

http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/2311/53984089.jpg

We then get some close-ups of eight captains we have seen more or less in the chapters before. They are ordered to break off to the left and right. And then they attack the warships. Whitebeard seems to have seen through the plan. But why attacking the ships now and going off to the sides? Maybe it's to avoid being enclosed in the bay. Or so.. no idea.
Luffy, Jimbei and Iva advance further, but are stopped by Moria. Jimbei then decides to take a break and get even with Moria. Moria wants his shadow, attacks him but Jimbei freaking owns him! I don't think he will stand up again anytime soon. But he probably will and fight a long and useless fight so that Jimbei isn't available to help Luffy...

Page 12-15 Smoker on the water

http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/7221/78140888.jpg

Smoker and Tashigi join the scene now. Well, Smoker, because he tells useless-Tashigi to get out of his way. Luffy then gets Smokers fist right into his face and counters with a Jet (!) Gatling. See, he switched from Gear 1st to Gear 2nd in no time. Well, anyway, it does not work this time again against Smoker and Luffy gets owned. Look at Smoker's face. He is somehow pretty much pissed off. But finally, he got Strawhat Luffy!
No, he didn't. Hancock kicks him away and positions herself in front of Luffy in a protective way. Some things to notice: What a hot chick! Look at that dress and how much it actually reveals. Oh, and I think her boobs grew in the few chapters we haven't seen them. They look enormous compared to the rest of her... well, glad she's here. And she is really angry because someone was attacking and holding down her beloved. Smoker still wonders how she could hit him and remembers the Kuja Haki.

Page 16-17 Kuma and Ivankov

http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/8316/61993929.jpg

Ivankov tries to talk with Kuma, but Doflamingo (where did he come from?) tells him that the Kuma he knew is already dead. What can that mean? Actually, it can mean a lot of things. Two possibilites:
-Kuma died or was killed after he got back from Shabondy because he helped the Strawhat Crew escape. His saying "we will never meet again" to Luffy makes a lot of sense that way. This is just a Pacifista. BUT this one used Ursa Shock. Hm...->
-Kuma was soon undergoing his last "treatment" to become a true Pacifista, a perfect cyborg. He knew that and then helped the strawhat crew escape before the treatment. The last treatment however took away everything of his personality.

Conclusion and Predictions

http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/2016/33358513.jpg

Like chapter 557, this isn't one of my favorites. The first part was just not my thing, but Boa and her two friends (OO) along with Kuma saved this chapter. This was again more of a setup-chapter to make clear who will fight who.
So, what will happen next week? Hancock will fight Smoker so that Luffy can go ahead. When she is marked as a traitor I can also see Luffy telling everyone (the marines) that Amazon Lilly is his territory, much like Whitebeard protects other islands. And we will finally get some background information on Kuma! And Zoro Part II.

Have a nice day ;)

Great review as always!

I came to this exact same conclusion upon reading that line. If we're correct, than that is almost kind of tragic. Kuma no longer has his own personality or will... he actually was a good guy prior to that?!

Great review as always, LoneLobo. I apologize in advance for not saying anything about your actual review...and for the language.

I'm really pissed that someone actually has the guts to plagiarize your and other people's stuff. Someone needs to teach that little f***er a lesson. It makes me really angry to see someone I respect being plagiarized, especially with all that red text defiling it.

Is there any way you can take action against the loser? We need to figure out who else is being copied, and let everyone see him for the piece of shit he is.

Another good review. Is it just me or did this chapter just feel short? Funny, when I saw Jinbei hit Moira, my exact thoughts were Don't fuck with Jinbei. Anyways it is interesting to see Luffy getting better at the gears. Since he's about to learn how to use Haki, I figure that the previous power up had to get mastered. Man if Luffy ever uses a suffix like chan when adressing Hancock she'll probably pass out from joy. And the WG might have bigger problems after the Whitebeard war. While I don't expect to see Dragon show up at this fight, I do expect him to take advantage of it. The Marines have pulled a huge number of their best troops to Marineford for this. That must have left other areas open, and it seems like a good time for the Revolution to strike.

I can so see that happening rofl :tem.
She'd faint on the spot, no doubt. It actually reminds me of an insane "I got a jar of dirt" remix style video but with Hancock in the anime saying 'I can't take it anymore' over and over again. I spilled a drink on myself laughing at it.

Nice! Let's see how it will actually turns out this week. =)

Lol, this would be so awesome!

I totally agree with you. Dragon has no reason to join this war, for him it is probably more tempting to attack where the government has to move troops away. For example from the bridge where Robin is right now.

It's okay and all right now. And regarding your reply I can see that you really care about my reviews, so thank you very very much. =)

Again, thank you all for your comments! The next chapter is approaching ;)
