With Weekly Jump taking the week off now is the perfect time to try new manga. I'm only rec'ing shonen since that is the only fandom effected. If any one has any series to add, that's great! For more recommendations try checking the threads for Shonen Sunday (http://mangahelpers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39233), Shonen Magazine (http://mangahelpers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43468), and Jump SQ (http://mangahelpers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16389). So here's some series to try, have fun!

No offense but...As if the world have only 4 magazines...I like Shounen Rival and Dengeki Maoh far more than any of those magazine...Those are just the most popular out there. Doesn't mean good mangas only go into those magazines...-_-"

Also, usually, WSJ, WSM and WSS will have double issue around the same time anyway. Weekly magazines usually just take a break all at the same time, so I doubt it will actually help, since when WSJ has a break, the other two have it as well... ._."

WSM and SS raws seem to have taken last week off; what few series are actually caught up will be back right as Jump takes the week off. The timing is off since Jump raws come out so ridiculously early.

As shonen is not my primary fandom I put up a little of what I like to get the conversation started, hopefully see others post a few links ;) I'm not a huge help in recommending less mainstream series.

If you've never read an Mitsuru Adachi series and have nothing to read this week, then I would recommend (in order of my favorites):

H2 (Completed) (http://mangahelpers.com/m/h2)
Touch (Completed) (http://mangahelpers.com/m/touch)
Cross Game (ongoing) (http://mangahelpers.com/m/cross-game)
Katsu! (Completed) (http://mangahelpers.com/m/katsu)

You can find links to download the scans at http://mangadownloads.org/page/manga/

Adachi does a great job in mixing sports with slice of life, imo. He also quite adept at the art of suspense as I am learning from reading Cross Game (the first of his series I've read weekly) :darn.
