As I said in the 268 thread, the new chapter has been released as usual courtesy of the pimps over at Raw Paradise.

Trust me, this chapter is the start of some JIMP worthy developments.

I like how he didnt subject Koga (and us) to fighting fodder soldiers. Ikki, Aeon, and Kazu go straight for Nike trying to triple-team him! Problem is though how are they going to try and get around Nue?

Also, do we see Nue's avatar?

wow, so nike isn't actually facing them first (which i figured was odd at first... since he's the type to sneak up instead of charge in first)

-so one plane is going in to land, the military guys are waiting on the side with their guns ready to shoot after the plane stops. just as its about to touch down, you see all of koga with aeon on the the one plane (doing the usual 'bu-korosu' chant). the military guys are still holding, and the plane lands... but they are instantly confused because koga is no longer on it, only paper airplane guy who is surrendering from the cockpit. turns out that the team was an illusion made be aeon and kazu.

-the military guys aren't able to stop koga, and ikki, kazu, and aeon (who are zooming past everyone) make a beeline for nike. however, they are stopped by agito, who fangs them (aeon being the only one to evade in time)... agito was the first to notice the wires and was stopping the 3 from falling into the trap. nike was actually an illusion (hallucinatory image) made by nue.

-nue covers the deck with his wires, and electrifies the crew (to get them out of the way) justifying that the crew isn't really involved in "their fight' (between koga and genesis). nue then tells them where rika is (at the core area of the ship). ikki give nue the chance to switch sides but nue states that ikki isn't able to carry the weight of the sky by himself (in other words, nue is choosing the side of genesis/sora)

so nike isn't the first to greet koga... probably chillin where rika is at and watching the surveillance (if nue's attack on the crew didn't destroy the feed/cameras). koga's never really fought against nue before (they've encountered him and experienced his use of hallucinations and wires... and the time when kazu was saved by aeon then nue) but they are aware of the types of attacks he's capable of from those times, on top of facing black burn in the inorganic net match (but even then, they weren't able to 'beat' black burn... ). this will be a first in which koga will really have to face a thunder king and completely take him down or at least leave one person behind to keep him occupied...

though i'm wondering wether this isn't just some scheme of simca, to get nue to take down the armed soldiers, and use the battle with koga to help simca with saving gorgon and rika...or something...

Really? How exactly is she going to save somebody on life support? Course the fact that Nike hasn't walked in there and put his foot through the machine is mind-boggling. That and Saving Rika since Nike isn't on deck that would be his most likely location where Rika is.

yeah, exactly, use the battle to create confusion on the ship, perhaps damage to the ship itself, force the rest of genesis to come out on the bridge so that simca can move about freely....as for how simca can save gorgon and rika, no idea, but i trust OG'll find some [nonsensical] way to do it :D

Why would it create confusion Nike knows what's going on. Hell Nike isn't going to go anywhere he's going to wait for them inside the ship. Inside the ship he's got an advantage. Sending Nue outside is a wise move for Nike since his electricity won't fry the equipment inside the ship. In other words it won't short circuit the jigsaw device that Rika is attached to.

Also Nue wants to give his kids a better life where gravity children don't need to hide. He wouldn't help Koga because they aren't gravity children. With Sora getting the Sky regalia that would put gravity children in charge giving Nue what he wants.

the way nue let that electric burst across the deck really shows how awesome of a location for a fight the aircract carrier is gonna be.

Nothing is too far-fetched to come true in an Oh-Great manga. Simca could have flying monkeys come out of her vagin if OG wanted them to.

exactly, that's why i came up with that in the first place :D

plus OG seems to have a tendency to keep "good guys"(perceived to be good at least) on the side of the main characters....well, except for ishiyumi(for those wondering, a character from TT)...

well, one way it could have suddenly built up was due to ikki's windless zone trick... i mean it was literally a huge hurricane that he created, so it may have affected the somewhat dormant storm clouds in the area and thats why its suddenly popping up? though with o!g i doubt he actually planned it like that... lol.

Honestly, I'm hoping Nue gets beat down but good. I really can't stand precocious kids. But don't mind me; being a teacher, sometimes I get really weary of kids who think they're all that. Don't even get me started on Ryoma from Prince of Tennis.

Really Nue is your choice out of all the kids in this manga who think they're all that? Seriously?
Nue can't even hold a candle to the epic douchebaggery of Ikki.

I was just reading posts on how people were ticked off with Nue, and I was curious as to how they could get annoyed with someone who hasnt really done anything yet.

HITSUGAYA has a pretty similar character design and people always refer to him as a brat! lol

I think it stems more from people being pissy because Nue isn't felching Ikki. It was only after he stood against Ikki that people started talking shit.

Heh. The Hitsugaya thing is definitely an interesting connection--I wouldn't be surprised if some prejudice comes from that.

On the other hand, I think that my dislike of Nue comes from the fact that his Road is so powerful--being able to destroy towns with all those wires of his, and yet it's also very hard to defeat him soundly because he's a kid. Even when Gashibi defeated him, we never got to see him get really hurt in any way--and I'm not sure we will, because after all, how beat up can even a fictional kid get in a manga? I don't know if I'm expressing this well, but from a creative standpoint, Nue is just annoying to me. He's a very flat character with a lot of arrogance, so he's easy to hate.

At least Ikki's been rounded out more, so it's easier to forgive him his douchebaggery.

Aeon Kazu and Ikki going straight forward without thinking is usual of them. Nice to see that Sharky was there to stop the fools.

Nue looks wicked in here. Never thought he would fight against Ikki and co, but damn the guy looks crazy.

It's totally true, and I also hate the low quality of RP. Also, I thank abcd for posting the translation (I did translate it into spanish for SSA).
