Byakugan might be using his parallel universe ability in some way though. Don't think his dead that easily. If he is this would be a very short fight which doesn't add up to the authors normal fighting set up.

He's down quite fast, on the other hand he was spraying fountains of blood out of his back so it was a given that he would lose. Tsuna's upgrade is apparently too great for him. What is happening to the pacifiers? Uni is gone and the pacifiers were starting to lite up, something should be happening over there too.

Wow Tsuna looks very pissed because Uni and Gamma are gone and his first kill to boot, impressive chapter. A good way for Byankuran to go. He's gone for sure since his sky mare ring leaves his hands.

And I do think, from what the last panels look like, that Byakuran was dropped by the organization the way he dropped Genkishi, allowed to be eliminated once his usefulness was over.

There was already blood in Reborn, also the killing of some characters, but this time it's Tsuna that does it. It could symbolises how grave the situation in the future has been.

I feel like this still won't be the last of him... maybe they'll go to the past and try to beat the Cervello before they tip Byakuran off about the Mare rings? Hmm... (so we'd get to see young/uncorrupted byakuran, and that way he'd be saved in the past?.... i say that because i have a had time believing that amano is actually gonna kill off a character forever or without him being turned semi-good...)

If the next arc is about the Cervello, then it's one of the things that will stop Byakuran from gaining power.

Well I knew that my gut feeling was right about how Tsuna would be forced to "dispose" of Byakuran. It is unfortunate for anyone to have to give way to their morals, but sometimes it is the only option that is left.

The only thing i find stupid is Tsuna's motivation to fight Byakuran after Uni dies.
Damn you Byakuran for making Uni kill herself even though it was her choice and she was the one who didnt trust in Tsuna's powers even though he was clearly winning!

so I wonder if the Cervello are suppose to be the overall looming bad guys for the series. It would seem that way to me, with how they have been involved with the last 2 big fights. Will we find out that they had a hand in the Muruko battle as well?

I have to agree with you on Tsuna's motivation, Rafat9. Hopefully her "sacrifice" will hold a bigger meaning than just cause she had to.

Overall, I would have to say that this arc has not played out very well as far as the actual battles are concerned (save the Melone Base battles)

I feel that Genkishi was a bigger and better bad guy in the end compared to everyone else. Gamma was a good villain while he was one.

As far as Gingerbread is concerned, maybe he is the true driving force behind the Cervello, since we were never shown his "true" self.

Obviously the Primo was a kind man, a hero, but he created a mafia family and obviously he created it for the right goal. A goal that he knew must be achieved with bloodshed when necessary.

The thing that bugs me was the cervello organization...
first, they (maybe) are the ones who unfroze xanxus and the question would be how..
now, they had contact with byakuran... which brings me to the idea that they wanted to get the trinisette for themselves...
i just thought of that maybe because they had anticipated all of these events to happen so that they can get what they wanted and still, there are some loose ends...

Wonder what the girls will think of it, he simply blew the guy away with his hands. They might be scared of it? Perhaps some form of guilt might bring him to talk with Kyoko in the comming chapters.
But tbh it was all or nothing. And they have seen how cruel and sinister Byakuran was/is.

I think you are right that they are scared of it. But they will embrace it since he's doing it for their sake as well and this way they will be able to return to the past. I don't know if the Cervello are evil. Uni said that Byankuran was the most the suited to be the sky mare ring holder in that time. The Cervello divide the rings to the ones who are most suited despite their intentions. Of course they could be following their own agenda.

The Cervello look like a bunch of outsiders but they clearly arnt, during the arc they also showed up on Byakurans side. Clearly they are traitors to the Vongola.
Usualy in Mafia terms breaking alliance with 1 family to ally another is treason. Gets you killed. Or at least it starts a mafia war.
I recon on return Reborn will contact the 9th and Tsuna's dad to investigate what the Cervello are up to.

The Cervello Girls were scared of Xanxus back in the Varia arc so i guess they're scared of Tsuna in a way too, i mean, not scared, they 'respect' him.

Anyway conspiracy time: Cervello Organization manipulated Byakuran by telling him what the Trinissette would do and made him his puppet to gather it all and therefore, they're gonna take it in the next few chapters :P

The art and paneling is good this week. Facial expressions are done really good, no more dull shock.

I personally think Byakuran is gone for good now. Since Cervello are shown to be the one behind everything. Right now it looks like they're the big bad behind everything.

A while ago I predicted Gamma and Uni would be good characters to be killed off, since they're are developed yet not main characters and are only introduced in this arc. It doesn't look like they'll be back alive either.

The only problem is that Byakuran was always shown to be a very calm man, it's kinda...bad...writing that he suddenly shown to be so hotblooded.

Once back in the past it will be that Unis mom is still alive and lovers with Gamma and Uni doesnt even know about the mafia.
So in a sense theyll be there. Depending if theyll be back.

What might happen is they go back but the past changed! lol. how about that ;)

This!!! I am so.... baffled by the way he has been acting ever since his fight with Tsuna got serious. Honestly, he was more like.. mmm, who is a good example... Xanxus, I guess?? I mean, the hotbloodedness and all. I always knew he'd flip but I really didn't think it'd be so early on or like that. Just... :blink It really felt like he wasn't the same character at all. :darn

yeah byakuran is best compared to Light of death note.

he's calm most of time only because he's always planning ahead even if something goes wrong he already has a way to counter it. he's just so certain that there is no way he can lose but as soon as his plans are ruined and there is no way he can still get what he wants he panics and freaks out and simply sets out to take as many people down with him as he can even he has no chance.

personally i'd have been more confused if he remained calm and confident even as he died. would of just come out as crazy.

I have to agree with Panda... after finding out that the real FW's were utterly useless and in no way shape or form lived up to the hype created for them, I was ready for this arc to be over with.

Lol for a character that was introduced 140 chapters ago (that half of the current total chapters ! ) the fight sure was uninteresting. Anyway i'm disappointed that Amano didn't explain "what-hell-does-blood-has-gotta-do-with-sky-flames" ==. They're like so totally unrelated, she trying to force what she thinks is cool onto us == I think that the white dragon will be explained in the volume so i think its ok.

LOL at the part where Tsuna said Byakuran was responsible for Uni's death LOL. I'm going to wait for a couple of chapters after we learn of the truth about the revival of the Arcobalenos before i continue commenting on this.

i don't know if I am the only one having this hunch or what...

but I do think that the cervello org. is like wanting the trinisette for their own consumption and they just couldn't use the trinisette because they need a rightful holder for the every ring, and since it was revealed that Byakuran was the first rightful holder of the mare ring like Giotto from the Vongola.... also, since the 4 pacifiers turned colorless, the cervellos are forced to be under byakuran (or it is more possible that they know it all along and just go with the flow)

and considering the fact that they had knowledge about the existence of parallel worlds, and also (just a hypothesis) unfreezing xanxus, they seem to be just waiting up for the right moment to strike...

so it is possible that as Tsuna and co. get back to the past, the cervellos might launch an offensive attack to get the trinisette...

Well talking about Xanxus they did manipulate and suport him from the shadows. Perhaps they wanted to controle Xanxus if he were to be able to use the Vongola ring. Ofc it wouldnt work on him so they had no choice but to let Tsuna have it. After this Byakuran shows up as a ring holder for them.

Cervello were just telling Byakuran than there are two other Sky holders for the Trinisette, for a total of three: one for the Mare rings (Byakuran), one for the Vongola rings (they wanted Xanxus, but got Tsuna), one for the Arcobaleno pacifiers (Luce/Aria/Uni).

Since Byakuran gave firm intentions of wanting world domination (he wanted to win the game), Cervello told him that he would have to gain the upper hand over the other two Sky ring holders, the leaders of the Vongola and Arcobaleno components for the Trinisette (there are two other players).

At least Amano is finally explaining why the actions of the Cervello seemed to be always just a little off and definitely biased.

About ring powers i recon there are different sets everywere but only those 3 sets are the top sets. Even then there is the Arcobaleno curse, what is this curse anyways, why do they have to be babies and the sky user dies rather fast every time.

Also, how Byakuran's powers awakened was quite similar to how Adachi's powers were awakened as well. Adachi's power was awakened after Izanami greeted him with a handshake and he later discovered that power after throwing Mayumi Yamano into the TV. Byakuran's power was awakened by Shoichi and he discovered it after another Byakuran in another parallel world met Shoichi. And then later, the Cervellos gave him the Sky Mare ring, in which Byakuran decides to use it to create his "perfect world". Just like how Adachi decided to use his power to murder people and create a world covered in fog. And in the end, there was someone else who was behind everything, watching everything unfold.

But anyways, that was just me babbling.

I hope the secret of the Arcobaleno are explained soon. Now that everything is over anyways ... Also, what are they going to do with Kikyou? He's been sitting there observing the battle this entire time and I doubt he's in any condition to fight.

Also, the Cervellos being behind everything is kind of bothering me. I get this feeling that they are the real main villains and that they are plotting something bigger.

That would be a good observation based on Reborn's attitude and behavior and Yamamoto would be a good choice since he already knew the secrets of the arcobaleno, and if we go in this scenario, Yamamoto's dad would got involved, and if by chances, might be Tsuna's enemy.

But personally, I guess it would be by other characters more mysterious than Yamamoto, like Gingerbread or Kawahira or even Lal Mirch, the characters that still leaves some air of secrecy around them or by characters who are so innocent that they don't notice that it is there... like Haru, Kyoko, etc.

Byakurans defeat did feel pretty rushed IMO, and so did pretty much all of the real FWs......its funny, the fake FWs got much more attention than the real ones. And didn't they all have their own army of soldiers?? I thought they would've brought them out at some point. Obviously they'd just be fodder, but.....ahh whatever.

Tbh the chapter wasnt bad, i mean the art was good, there doesnt happen to much but hey not every chapter can score a 100%. Just realize its a weekly manga if this week didnt bring you what you desired next week is another one.
I read 3 monthly's and this is my only weekly id be far more disapointed if a monthly chapter was not so good.
The weekly's like Reborn got way more release pressure so dont burn it down.

I don't think we've seen the last of Byakuran(He is connected to all these alternate time-lines simultaneously, so he just lost 'one' body), Future story is almost done in my opinion.'But', Byakuran pulled himself from an alternate timeline(Ghost), so whats to stop him or someone else from pulling it off successfully?We didn't see what Box Monster he turned into? Who's to say we won't see Evil versions of Vongola?We might even have a gag, travel to 30 alternate worlds and see how different they all are chapter.
He might come back with minions bearing multiple 3-7 rings(and pacifiers), and thats not even counting an alternate time-line where he doesn't exist and has people more powerful them him and he doesn't know of them.

As far as Byakuran, he's special, so it's possible that taking him out will take all versions of him out. Whatever the case is, I'm sure that it will be sorted out sometime over the next few chapters.

It is stated that the synchronize byakuran can only exist in one world... meaning the core or the one with all the knowledge can only exist in one world. so killling the core will cut destroy the body because even there are millions or billions of possibilities... there can only be one future;)

My predictions for the next chapter:
*Kikyo being dealt with/killed.
*Flash from either Byakuran or Kikyo.
*Arcabaleno rebirth being complete.
*Cervello taking the Mare rings before the Vongola can do anything to them.

Also, Fran will probably leave Varia once Mammon/Viper is back and join the Kokuyo gang. This probably won't matter on the long run since the main cast will return to their corresponding time.
