Naruto vs Rock Lee (pre-timeskip)

Imagine Lee didn't face gaara and he made it to the second round and faced naruto who would win. Can naruto beat the gates system of Rock Lee.

you should specify what pre-timeskip naruto you'r talking about "pre-Ransengan" or "post-Ransengan" Naruto and if he can pull out 2 tails like he did against Sasuke at valley of the End

but since your post seems to hint toward Chunnin base Naruto....in a straight up fight unless he was about die and pulled out 1 or 2 tails...Naruto would get absolutely molested by Rock Lee, Naruto HAD nothing at that point that proved he could keep up with Lee (un-weighted or Gated)

I thought about that after I posted for the sake of making this interesting let's make it post rasengan naruto before battle with sasuke. Also plot armour jutsu aside.

Even with Rasengan <before the Vote fight> Naruto would be beaten by Lee, that's the difference I see. Tsijutsu specialist is cool :p

Ok, ok, Naruto has kage bunshins, but it didn't occur to me at the time that Naruto was able to beat Lee. More over, if he would be able to keep up with Lee with chakra of Kyuubi <as he did against Neji>, than Lee on Gates would be over kill for Naruto.

btw. I don't count KM1/2 from Vote fight which seems to boost Naruto's speed/defence and such thing xd

Kage Bunshin wouldn't make much difference in part 1. Capable ninjas like Neji, Sasuke, Kimimaro, Gaara, Haku, etc etc disposed of them rather easily. Lee would win.

I don't know if he was too use a kage bunshin when lee went gates and lasted long enough for gates to end then he could win. If he takes a beating like gaara does a last second switch like he did with neji then hit him with rasengan he could win. Kage Bunshin are very usable in almost any situation.

I could see naruto winning this. Every trick which did not work against neji would work against lee but better. Naruto is quite versatile when it comes to spamming KB and kyubi would actually easily make up for a difference in speed or attack power. Worst case scenario naruto can summon bunta and step on lee.

5 gates lee would defeat naruto,even though he uses some of kyubi's chakra. but if they have fought with 1 tail naruto,then naruto would have won,I guess.
