the reason is very simple,the rule of the double page of course every arc Erza have a badass double page for her when she take down a enemy,the battle against edo-Erza is not over he never begin in fact,we all wanted this battle right,now we will see that.

The dialogue would probably make it clearer, but from just the action, Gray wasn't the one aiming the thing. Erza was threatening to kill the king to make the soldiers target it, and when Edo-Erza saved the king, he had them retarget it back to the island.

I'd imagine that Edo-Erza was out cold, and quite possibly bound after Erza stole her clothes.

Ideally Erza would have killed her while she was unconscious. Unfortunately FT being the good guys means that have morals that keep them from actively murdering unconscious, helpless people, no matter how much they deserve it.

Her real mistake was not doing something about the spear, one way or another.

I think it's the lachryma that give weapons their magic abilities since there are many kinds of lachryma as we've seen several times (comunication lachryma, thunder lachryma, earth lachryma and dragon slayer lachryma of course).

What I do not understand is why the gang left for the lachrima instead of staying and fighting. What could they possibly gain from going there? Isn't it a better choice to stay back, keep edoras people at bay and re aim the cannon? Erza could keep edo erza at bay while natsu and grey could make short work of the fodder. Lucy could re aim the cannon. Only problem would be the king though, he is bound to be reasonably powerful.

The chain's already attached and moving the island that holds the Magnolia Lachryma. They'd have to figure out how to remotely detach the anchor, wind in the magic chain, then retarget and fire. Assuming that's possible at all. All while fighting off a bunch of soldiers and someone that's a match for Erza. Not exactly good odds for success.

They'll have much better luck at this point going up the island to detach things there, and have Natsu take a shot at restoring the town to normal. Sugarboy doesn't think he can, but it's not like he's an expert on what kind of power a dragonslayer can put out.

Natsu will just burn all the Lachryma at the very last moment to free everyone. I'm almost ready to wager, that sounds so predictable.

well I'd say that because of the last words on this chapter, One Wing, it would seem that it's going to be focused on lily, but he also has 2 wings.

This chapter......was an absolute mess.

Like Mashima has finally dropped the ball on this arc and it has devolved into typical Fairy Tail retardation. Looks like we have yet another "we have XXX amount of time to save XXX before it's too late" and more randomness in this chapter than I could take. (Why would the king even let Gray insert the key into the keyhole? Making it wasn't enough?) Oh and apparently Coco can summon "Legions" now, ever heard them mention it before now? Yeah neither do I

It's not a great chapter but we already saw a Legion when Edo-Erza has been introduced.

Haha, as we all expected. It was a sneak attack. I find it hysterical how Edo Erza is virtually naked since Earthland Erza took her armor. At times I really think that Mashima is such a pervert :facepalm. Honestly I'm not sure how they are going to undo the lachryma. Maybe they'll have to stop the chain from moving it first by defeating everyone and then afterwards use the canon to undo it. Or Natsu and Gazille will have to work together to undo it themselves.

Thats because its not a vehicle. You figure he flies with Happy all the time and the only reason why he has no problem is because Happy isn't a vehicle. If its a vehicle then he's sick. If its an animal he seems to have no problem. Its just one giant mental problem for him :XD.

1) It's been "we have XXX amount of time to save XXX before it's too late" for most of the arc. Time is merely running short.
2) The king went with the judgment of a trusted subordinate that had captured Gray. It's not like Gray could do much with Erza's sword to Natsu's neck, and the controls on the other side of the room.
3) You apparently have either a poor memory, or poor attention to detail. Edo-Erza dropped out of the sky while riding on one back here: http://www.onemanga.com/Fairy_Tail/170/12-13/

The only new thing is the name of the species, and that Edo-Erza isn't the only one of the king's favorites that gets a cool mount.

So Knightwalker cuts off her hair in shame. I think that's what samurais did in edo Japan. They would cut off their hair, ponytails I think, to represent shame or dishonor. Also, looks like the strongest warriors of Edoras is definitely Knightwalker and P-Lily since they actually GET THEIR HANDS DIRTY! I wonder if Coco will have an influence with P-Lily becoming an ally. Now I'm convinced that Fart (Faust) is made of nothing more than bone, vein, and skin, that's it o.o. When I saw him for the first time, I thought, yep, this guy will lose hard and fast.

Well so far all we know is that dragonslayer magic is the only kind that can undo it. So the queen exceed would have to have dragonslayer magic or then the plot would have to expand to include her magic as being a cure. It would be nice to see a fight between the king and the queen though. Maybe he himself out of desperation when his plan fails will just absorb the dragonslayer magic himself or something along those lines. You see how mad and crazed he looks now I wouldn't be surprised if he does something like that.

i don't think that luxus lachryma type of dragon slayer powers really counts the same as natsus/wendys/gazilles.

but well, the easiest way would have been to simply destroy the cannon. they didn't even think about it so i guess they still need it at the end of the arc to free fairy tail from the lachryma.
but i start to become curious about that queen. i want to know whats the thing about her. she has to be special in some kind of way. maybe shes a hot chick, maybe shes just powerful. and maybe shes a dragon? well.. we'll see..

about the Luxus thing... its almost as if were talking about XX(reborn) fandom here. Every now and then someone blurts out he will show up, and actualy makes me dislike the character more every time ^^.

Staying with the facts is way more helpfull, atm there are so many characters active already why bring in more?

And another thing is Dragonslayer magic is capable of breaking this Lacryma and revert the people back to how they were, there is absolutely no evidence that Fake-dragonslayer magic as its sometimes called will have the same effect... And its not about magical power since both Gray and Erza are roughly at par with Natsu and Gajeel. Yet its only the dragonslayers that can release them. So i dont see much use for Luxus to be there.

Apart from that were still waiting on Mystgun to show up. And learn how hes tied into all this. Clearly hes no Fairy Tail since they are oblivious to the magic + the people from the other side ( unless he was on a special mission from the then alive guildmaster). So who gave him that mission?

My guess would be that the real reason Natsu's fine being carried by Happy is the Aera magic Happy uses negates motion sickness, and the legion uses the same magic.

We'll probably find out one way or another next chapter.

Yes it does though, it was flat out said that he was getting sick from remembering he was on a vehicle before waking up. http://www.onemanga.com/Fairy_Tail/88/14/ He was remembering getting sick on the rocket and thats what made him sick on Simon. Thats why Simon couldn't believe he was getting sick just from thinking about being on a vehicle. It wasn't Simon carrying him that made him sick but him remembering being on a vehicle. SO Anything NON-Human, whether its a car, ship, or jetpack he will get sick on. Anything thats alive, breathing, and pumping blood he doesn't have problems on. Thats why he's ok on the Legion.

If that is right I could imagine that Gazille will get Coco as his cat since Coco isn't overpowered like Panther Lily. But Panther Lily could still join Fairy Tail.
The other possibility is that Panther Lily joins Fairy Tail and that he has to fight with Gazille about the "pet position" like some people predicted.

I wonder how you get to Coco that fast..? Coco isnt directly exceed well she doesnt realy look human so i guess she might be. But Lily is confirmed exceed and Gajeel said he wants him as his cat. So once the battle is over he might revert to his smaller self and be his cat.

Coco if shes exceed raises another question, she might join them? And then her magic is that of transformation perhaps? (Exceed->human transformation). Also if she realy is exceed its more likely shed be with Lucy but i wont jump to conclusions on that yet.

Hahaha, I thought it was around that arc and I was looking but couldn't find it, thanks. Yea look at the explanation for why he was sick, it was all the vehicles he was on and then Lucy was last. If anything it was more for a comical element. If anything Legion's are flying animals so its pretty much like flying with Happy which he has no problem with. Overall I really don't see an irregularity in his motion sickness problems besides it being an odd problem to begin with, lol.

I'm not sure Coco is an exceed, but who knows...
I see a lot of weird beings in this manga and Mashima's other manga that I've come to a point where I don't think about the specific race or type of humans or animals anymore... like, okay, is Plue a dog or a bug? He looks like neither to me... And if you read Rave, what's that sunflower like creature stuck on Haru's house? Is that an animal or a flower? Lol... They're just living creatures in Mashima's world, I guess... :D
