the first one is used HQ cleaning, and the second use speed cleaning...
HQ cleaning means you have to redraw all the grey and then replace it with grey pattern and then use topaz clean for the finishing...
speed cleaning means you only cleaning it with some filter and then leveling it no redrawing.:tem

The choice of screentone for the first one was unwise, it makes the whole page look artificial. It's a good clean otherwise.
The second one is just horrible, do NOT clean like that. Ever.
