Which is the panel/ moment that hooked U to the manga?

What really annoys me, though, is when the combatant himself comments during the fight, often at paragraphs at a time, despite the action moving at blinding speed. I'd give an example, but there are too many to choose from.

Whenever I see a giant sword like that, I wonder how the hell is he able to wield it, so I read further. Also that very detailed cut was something that I really missed from the mangas I was reading, when I started Berserk, so this is a memorable page for me

You know reading back, makes me love the couple of guts and caska.
But i feel so bad for griffith how his dream is taken away, i just want to see him and guts at the end hug each other and cry and scream I LOVE YOU!! (guts says i love you!! not in a gay way though) But the volume im up to know makes me hate griffith and want to see in the end guts shooting heaps of bows in his face and killing him 9000x overkill. But the god hand kinda of trick/brainwashed griffith to turn evil, but he had nothing left BUT still its unforgiveable of what he did!!!

hahahaha I totally forgot about that freakish monkey complete with tentacle penis, that was an epic moment.

Well Griffith is one of the reasons I love this manga so much. He is such a dynamic bad guy. I mean his character is deep and developed and not bland like in Shonens. Miura really made you feel for him when Guts left the hawks.

Not really sure how to put a spoiler alert around what I am about to say...

FYI If you haven't played/beaten/want to beat/play Red Dead Redemption then stop reading...

Anyways, in RDR you play through the whole game as a father trying to save his family. You finally save your family and get shot down by like a million guys who originally took them from you. I personally didn't like the ending because they just copy and pasted your son as you like twenty years later via a time skip. Guts has no real substitute or surrogate. If he dies the story ends... I think that this is a possible outcome for the very last chapters but that it would make the series a little less epic in my opinion. For instance Guts has lived through a million unlikely encounters, battles, wars, and always come out the victor or at least intact enough to fight later. Do I think Miura will kill guts? I think that if we wish to answer that question we should really consider the words, "he was born from death and has always been close to it". (something along those lines) -->This has been a common theme throughout Berserk and at first to me at least, was a mantra to make guts look more badass. However I think that it will have a large significance in relation to the final outcome to Berserk. Does this mean that Guts will die? There's a good chance of that happening but like I said it's really upsetting to the reader/player to do a redonk amount of work reading the series/playing through a game for your character to just keel over and die. Do I think that Miura will kill Guts before he has offed the God hand including Griffith? no. I think that Guts is the only one capable of such a feat. and that SK(although looking like he knows whats up, really doesn't have a viable plan for the destruction of the god hand). So until Caska pops another guts out of her oven I think we're stuck with our current main character till the end of the manga IMO.

Every few pages a new panel comes up increasing my esteem for Berserk. Actually I'm quite new to it and far from the current state (Just started volume 10) but it's hard to tell which one really hooked me to it... I guess the moment it started to become a true favorite of mine was in the beginning of Band of the Hawk-flashback (which still isn't finished at the point I'm at right now).

I'm at work right now and can't post specific links, but I would say I was hooked after the first chapter, like many here. I was previously a mostly shounen reader and the up-front brutality and in-your-face horror/dark fantasy drew me in immediately. When he takes the offer of the lift from the man and girl in the cart after warning them, and then seeing them absolutely massacred by the skeleton army...that was powerful stuff and I can say i honestly felt distraught for Gatts, having this responsibility and guilt on him at all times.

(forgive my lack of chapter/page references but i'm sure you all know the moment i'm referring to)

What a brilliant story, I'm going back to read it all again now!

I always thought from that moment the manga will be epic, I even considered Zodd a good guy there for some reason. Don't know why but that was a thing that keep me reading over and over again, well the whole incident with Zodd to sum it up.

Hmm,... well, I watched the anime before I even knew there was a manga. I liked the anime, but the ending was weird, so when I realized their was a manga, I read it in the hope I'd learn what the anime's ending was all about. Berserk was the manga that convinced me manga are usually better than animes as far as stories are concerned. I was hooked pretty much right away.

For me it was exactly the same. I was confused after ending of anime so I decide to read manga (for me it was the first manga ever) and I very liked it.

For me was very special scene where Guts saw Griffith for the first time after eclipse. It is hard to imagine what feelings he had...
