The upgrades took a chapter and then they already found Simon HQ. The pacing is rather quick, and it leads me to believe that there might be something more to the Vongola vs. Simon fiasco.

Reagarding Spanner and Shoichi, until there is a definite confirmation of their inclusion in this chapter, we shouldn't be getting excited about their being included. They may be, but then again, they may not be included. The spoilers are pending, so there's really no confirmation as of yet.

Personally, I will wait on the confirmation rather than getting my hopes up.

Either that or Yamamoto is somehow going to magically recover.

Is it just me or the Lambo sleeping doesn't make any sense. Lambo was still awake when Shimon attacked, so when exactly did Lambo fell asleep >.<

Wow great chapter.... I love the design of the new gear..... One thing though I don't imagine tsuna and 3 of his guardians to fight with shimon... even with the new gear if they're not complete it's futile.... but I guess it would be impossible for them to be complete due to Yama's illness.... and from the looks of it I don't see yama being well soon enough... I don't imagine him fighting the shimon....But I do hope that Hibari-san will come to join them... he's "THE STRONGEST GUARDIAN" afterall

Kyoko will be Tsuna's future wife/girlfriend judging from this chapter, just like with Nuts, she was able to read/feel someone's emotions while Haru was busy doing.....stuff.
I am glad to see Irie and Spanner appearing again, I wonder what kind of wonder devices they will creat :p

Thank goodness they aren't waiting around for seven days and that the "holy land" wasn't in Nihon. I still wish it was somewhere in Europe or the Atlantic Ocean.

I sense foreshadowing with Reborn coming along without being allowed to fight, and the Ninth's parting words to Tsuna about Enma. Maybe the Simon don't consider each other as friends.

An interesting thing: the Ninth gives the same orders since Kokuyo arc: "the mission is entrusted to Tsuna and his guardians, and Reborn has to go but not take part". I hope the reason behind this 'pattern' will be finally explained in this arc.

I'm agreeing with...well pretty much everything haha xD. This chapter would have been just as good without Kyouko's warm fuzzy feeling. Yeah, that's not Tsuna, it was just the breeze.

The reason why Reborn isn't allowed to fight it's because he's the teacher. He's done his fighting, he beat his own bad guys, he went through his personal critical moments, now it's Tsuna's turn.

That's the way most shounen stories go, the teacher/mentor is always super strong but almost never fights or joins the battle. What story would we have if Reborn just destroyed all of Tsuna's enemies? xD I wanna see him fight badly but I doubt it's ever gonna happen.

I think I 'kyaad' on the inside when I saw the picture with chibi Spanner! So cute! So cute! *goes into fangirl mode* Although it makes me wonder why he did send a picture with Spanner xD He doesn't look all that different from his future self. Yeah, that was my immediate reaction when I read that part. Everything we've seen of them makes it seem like they don't really get along the way that Tsuna and the others do, and I think that will be the lead factor motivating Tsuna.

I wonder if the current Lambo is able to unlock his ring.
I mean okey, he was the first one to be able to unlock his box in the future arc.
But obviously activating it this time will be harder.
He will most likely also get some horns. And as we know, Lambo can't use his horns well as a kid nor as a teen, only his adult form could use them well.

So what i think will happen is:

Lambo( or maybe teen lambo?) will activate their ring --> get horns ( most likely).
5 year old Lambo & 15 years old Lambo can't use the horns well, so obviously his adult form will battle =D
Adult lambo is 25 years years old, he has had the gear for 20 years, so he will be really good with them and have developed some attacks and what not.

SO i r predict that we will get Adult Lambo again! O_O

Oh yeah, also rememberd, since Irie and Spanner both have their memories from in the future, or, visions atleast, maybe Gianini or whatever that weird guys name is will also have his. It's sad because someone like Enma NEEDS a friend to support him. He's faced with the task of avenging his ancestor as well as being a bully magnet. I imagine the relationship between the Simon as being similar to a school project. They may not like each other personally, but they still need to work together to accomplish a common goal.

I remember in the beginning of the arc, some were complaining that Tsuna was still a "wimp" because he got beat up and that Amano-sensei threw away his character development from the Future Arc. Well, here it is. (I hope those people took back their words!) Tsuna is taking initiative and also stood up to Squalo of all people. If that's not character development, then I don't know what is.

*gasp* Judging solely on the first episode is not cool! This is a series that gradually builds up and becomes better. Did anyone notice that we haven't had an actual battle since the fight with Byakuran? (Tsuna vs. Pesca guy and Enma wiping out the Vongola doesn't count.) Most shounens rely on fights after fights with only a few breaks in between, but I love how REBORN doesn't follow that formula.

I have to agree that this chapter has been the best as far as Tsuna's growth is concerned. I believe that he understands fully the impossible task of taking on a foe who's powers are unknown and is more and more starting to handle things as the future 10th.

Ryohei doesn't need the booster boots... maybe he can learn to start sending punch blast type fireballs to his opponent. Also would not hurt to gain some illusion moves.

Goku is already a beast with his ability to have all the flames... but I do like the idea of trying to bring back his dynamite in some form or another. A co-op attack with Uri would be sweet as well.

Tsuna needs what... more power? He is already the fastest in the family... so what I see is his new lens and earphones will somehow allow him to be able to do the X-burner in an instant and while on the move. But with nuts... not sure where to go with that one.

Anyway, I hope the next chapter fills us in on Chrome and Yamamoto.

I'm glad there's someone else who wants Yamamoto to use his one sword stance. Yamamoto's four sword style renders some of his shigure souen ryu attacks useless/un-effective. At this point i don't think the 4 sword style will go away but i'm hoping that Yamamoto would continue using his one sword stance in the future. I don't mind Yamamoto switching from 1 sword stance to 4 sword style though.

I hope that the day would come when Gokudera would ride on Uri blasting at his enemies. But since Uri can't go to animal form when cambio forma is used i wonder if i would see that one day. Maybe the new belt will allow Gokudera to use cambio forma and Uri's animal mode at the same time.

While box weapons are not widely used yet in this time, anime fillers (which I honestly believe are written by Amano) have indicated that Verde has already begun his research into creating them. I'm of the opinion that Talbot, despite his apparent reputation as a hermit, is still quite knowledgeable of the mafia world, but simply keeps out of its affairs.

Talbot can hear the rings, and since (I think) the spirits are Primo & his guardians' spirits, then it makes sense for the old guy to figure out what weapons the Tenth Generation has. As for the box animals, then that's probably what the ring spirits told him too. After all, the animals could Cambio Forma into the Primos' weapons.

I wish they will have a Cambio Forma which is "Tenth Generation Exclusive". They've relied a bit too much on Primo's Rings, Primo's Techniques... The Vongola Bling (X°D) is modern and tailored on them, so I think they will develop their very own techs.

I was wondering... When Tsuna fought Byakuran he used Burning Axel/Big Bang Axel, which, if I properly understood, had the same power as X Burner (in Fiamma Volts) but did not have "charge time". This should have made X Burner useless... so why are we going back to it(Spanner sending him new contacts and headphones)? I understand that it's Tsuna's signature attack, still... why were the Axels introduced then? xD I know this is a minor issue, yet it came to my mind.

after the ring was upgraded by primo Tsuna shoot x burner without charging so it is not useless since it is only range attack Tsuna has. It depends on situations burning axles is close range skills and can use in point blank as we see when he used on Byakuran. The more techniques the more he can utilize them so that it will not end as x burner to save the day every battles.

My reasoning is that we saw the Primo generation emit out of the Vongola rings during the battle with Byakuran. In Ch. 300, Talbot also spoke to "Primo" as he was fixing the rings. I may be wrong though but at this point it's very likely that the spirits are Primos'.

I wanted to add something about the Miracle of the Shield Dimension: just like the Sky Mare Ring gave Byakuran the ability to share knowledge with the Byakurans of parallel words, the Sky Vongola ... GEAR? *asdfghjk I'm still not used* gives Tsuna the ability to... share knowledge with his ancestors and I think descendants, too. We saw part of its power both in chapter 158 (Succession) and during the battle with Byakuran. I hope Tsuna will master this power, hopefully in this arc... He definitely HAS to talk to Primo in order to discover the truth about the supposed betrayal, too... And here I wonder: will Simon Cozart appear? He shouldn't, UNLESS the Simon Rings hide a time-related power similar to that of the Vongola Rings... I hope I didn't go too much off topic.

You didn't go off-topic. :) It's possible that the Simon rings also has a power of its own but it will probably be quite different from the way Vongola rings work. Vongola is all about progression from the past to the present into the future. In Uni's explanation of the 7^3 song/poem, the explanation of the Vongola rings was an arrow starting from the Primo to Decimo and beyond. With the recent chapter we got the upgrades symbolizing that Tsuna is slowly but surely changing Vongola.

If anything, I think the Simon rings will be the opposite going backwards in time. I don't know how that will work but it fits with the theme of Past vs. Future.

Considering how Uni answered Byakuran when he mentioned that he got his abilities before he had the mare rings, i believe that Byakuran's ability is linked to the mare rings. I got this crazy theory that the mare rings has its own mind and it's the true mastermind that led Irie to unlock Byakuran's ability for it.
