I was working with students with low cognitive abilities. One of the activity they have to do was an obstacle course and one of the aides decided to try it out. In one part, she had to throw a ball pitcher-style toward a target.

Anyway, to answer Jin's questions:

- The class wouldn't stop talking and were off-task most of the times so I had to redirect them several times.
- The boys were rough housing/horse playing
- I had to send two boys to the principal's office because one pushed another classmate (he had to spend recess and lunch in the office) while the other jumped on top of a classmate, which caused him to fall and hit his head on the floor.
- Because of the children's behavior, they lost four minutes of recess though three kids (one of them tried to avoid it but I found him) lost five extra minutes.
- The class left a mess in the classroom. Luckily, another teacher and her grandchildren helped me clean up.

Well, she has poor defense so she tends to get killed easily by a tough opponent. However she has two good skills - one will blast all of the enemies on the grid (3x3 square) and the another will protect a character from two hits; I always abuse the former. Her weapon is a gun but she pistol whips the enemy twice instead of shotting. :XD

IIRC, you have to hold the 3DS at a certain angle in order to see the 3D effect and you must have steady hands or else the 3D effect will be shaky. I also read that your eyes will get strain after seeing the 3D effects after awhile.

I work at a temping company called "off to work", it's a catering and hospitality company. We do a lot of fascinating events, like for instance in July they're flying us out to Scotland for golf tournament :D, we do award shows and get to meet some really cool and famous people. On a different note, planning to get Just Cause 2 and Perfect Dark (n64 version for 360 arcade) this week.

I'm seriously behind with games but I figured that Just Cause 2 is an incredible game and Perfect Dark... well let's just say I grew up with it :thumbs

Aah, yeah I experienced heavy issues with the camera (want 100% camera control in 3rd person) but I managed to get through it. Overall a great game. I love the action/comic style of it. In retrospect an overly hyped pre-release and underrated post-released game.

Looks like I have to resort to wii sports resort (funny \o/) until the next Zelda :(

My favorite game is Radiant Historia. My most memorable game is Dragon Quest IX. I don't know what game is the best because each has its charm and whatnot.

I was working with two boys during Centers Time. The boys were learning to count by playing a math game. In this game, they have to put a certain amount of cotton balls onto their game mat; to find out the number, they have to roll a die. To first one to fill up their mat wins.

One of the boys decided to play against me.

Boy: #1: I'm going to beat you!
Me: Well, we better find out.

A few minutes later, I finished covering my game mat while he had six spaces left.
Boy #2: Haha! The teacher beat you!
Boy #1: ... The last person to fill his spaces in wins so that means I win!

It's on PSP and it got mixed reviews. Fans of the previous Parasite Eve games hate the gameplay and storyline. Some also think Aya's clothes being damaged is a horrible gimmick.

Sissel though everyone was great in their own way
Hmm... I like the last one, the Death Room one, and the one where you have to save the detective and the landfill owner.
I like the animations and that if you messed up, you can always start again. :)

Like I mentioned before, it got mixed reviews. Fans of the previous games hated it but Playstation Magazine gave it a good review (4/5) so I guess if you haven't played the series before, you'll like it.

A work story

This week, students has statewide testing and I was helping out in a middle school today. One of my jobs was to keep an eye on the kids after testing was over. I had to move a class of 7th graders to a Spanish classroom.


After moving into the classroom
Girl: Cool! We're in the Spanish classroom!
Boy: Man, this room feels so foreign.
Girl: Well duh. This is the first time we're in this room
Boy: Um... I was trying to make a joke. You know, Spanish? Foreign language?

This week there was standardized testing. The 3rd grade students finished theirs on Thursday
Teacher: What do you think of the math test yesterday?

I really enjoyed both part 1 and 2. The characters are really interesting and I love the banter that goes on during the actual gameplay. :)

The games I got now are Uncharted 1&2, Infamous, MG4.

I want to play Heavy Rain and the GOW series. Maybe also Resistance and Killzone.

but I like all kinds really. I just don't care for the online shooter type games... I need story, character depth and awesome everything! :p

And yes I am already wanting to play Uncharted: Drake's Deception. :D

The student teachers and I were walking back to the classroom with two kindergartners. As we were walking, we were chatting with them.

So the 4th graders learned that I have a twin sister and they got really excited about it. They talked about how they would have their twin pretends to be them so they would skip school and whatnot though I pointed out that it would never work. >.>

Yeah, Atlus USA is releasing it here. I think another company (SE Europe for the Persona series) release Atlus games in Europe since it does not have a European division yet.

Anyway, it's an Atlus game, which got rave reviews in Japan, due to it being challenging. In fact, they have to make a patch to make the Easy Mode easier because gamers were complaining that it was still difficult. The music and story are also great.

It was really good, I was surprised at how much I liked it. At first I was a bit unsure at how well Chris Hemsworth would play Thor but he was really good. The comedy is on point, action is expectedly awesome. You really see Thor and Loki's characters grow and change right before your eyes.

You need to watch it asap! next on my list is Fast and Furious 5 and Insedious.

I am almost done with Infamous... I am trying to find all of the Blast Shards before the last boss. Since I read once that the final boss has been known to be a real ass-kicker.

well i don't like FPS too. but RE4 and 5 are different to others RE, they are action/shooting game, they aren't really survival horror :p
