View Full Version : Anime In what "image quality" do you watch the TV animation One Piece ?

I had the opportunity to watch the last episode (No. 462) in different image resolutions and felt like asking others how they are actually watching the tv show.

Some facts about the tv show in Japan (dear natives, please correct me if I'm wrong. ;))

From Episode 207 on the image is produced and shown in Full HD resolution on Fuji Television
The transport stream signal however is 1080i with 29.97 fps and has an anamorphic resolution of 1440x1080 pixels.

I've rendered the lower resolutions out of the 1080p scene just in case you ask how the webstream version looks better than while watching.

Honestly all those pictures look the same but in different sizes.
