Captivating Anime Screenshots

I was watching a few old One Piece episodes from the Enies Lobby Arc and I came across this cool thread idea. Episode 312 entitled "Thank You Merry! The Sea of Separation in the Snow" was really emotional and the animation was done superbly! The camera angles, motion and movement throughout the episode was exceptional imo. There were quite a few awesome angle/screenshots and my favourite one has to be of Usopp/Sogeking. (http://a.imageshack.us/img801/130/sogekingmerry1.jpg)

Have you watched any anime that have had those "captivating moments"? Where one feels moved by it!? Certain anime scenes/moments can really effect the viewer in many ways. Themes such as serenity, freedom, beauty, destruction, love, excitement and many more can ultimately be symbolised/expressed in one single screenshot. I haven't watched much anime in recent months, so I can't contribute to this thread as much as I would like too. I just haven't come across any relatively interesting anime to watch at present. I'm hoping this will change soon. :sweatbunny

I didn’t know you were a fellow LOTLH fan; that is great! :) And yes, I agree Ryner’s eyes ( http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_24Vd0z-lzoo/THDJs0MtKaI/AAAAAAAAARc/L38dTGgixPM/s400/Alpha+Stigma.JPG) and him turning into AS were incredible screenshots. Another moment that really touched me and captivated me in that anime was this one. It was a very meaningful moment for both characters and I will always remember it.

You mean Tiir, and yes, that scene was great. :cool: Another fantastic screenshot was Tiir with the children (the eye-bearers) behind him in the last episode during the epilogue. :thumbs.
