1. Perhaps just like I called it a few weeks ago....! That MITHURA CHOSE MIROKU, not the other way round we thought it was! Mithura was the one with plan and Miroku was in effect just influenced by her and executed as her wish!!

Yeah, but even if Grana explicitly said he'll not care about Miroku's plan and let him continue with "whatever his ideal world is", I feel Grana probably see this coming, in a inituitive sense - that watever Miroku comes up he'll gasp "What the hell is this!"

I wonder if this is will cause some of the remaining WISE to change sides? I'm guessing this new world transformation will kill anyone who isn't psychic if it goes ahead. Also I get the feeling that stopping Miroku won't stop the process once it starts.

The story is moving really fast now, I guess this really could be the penultimate or final arc.

PS: So Mithra really does equal = Unknown alien thing? So she wasn't borrowing the name of her host.

So it turns out Mithura came from Ouroboros after all. Glad to see the theories were correct.

On a side note, does anyone think Grana is redeemable to the good guys side? I bet he didn't know the full extent of Miroku's plans and just kinda went along for the ride.

That has always been said. Grana was on Miroku's side because he was forced. Grana could choose: either he fought Miroku till the end resulting in his death or he subdued himself to Miroku. Is this Grana's strength? Is this Grana's weakness? It is a thin line but I do know that by choosing Miroku's side, Grana loved living on. I have always considered Grana as the villain whom you could consider as someone who'd run to the other side

I don't like the sudden change that Vigo is undergoing. A kidnapping of Marie, some words of Granny, etc and suddenly the guy is losing his evil side? A good story writing or a good character building would be more convincing than this imo

What I do like, is Mithura's role. It was to be expected that she had a connection with Uruboros. Eventually she is the mastermind, a puppeteer who needed a very strong puppet for achieving their common goal.

I agree about Vigo, the sudden pacing change makes character development more difficult? (I can't think of a better way of wording it). Good point though on noting it began with Granny.

I still think he would have been very much crazy/homocidal if he had lived but with a soft spot for Marie (Which I think wouldn't of have come out if Mithra hadn't threatened her) he'd have given her a painless death at least? :sweat

Vigo shouldn't have been softened up like that. He doesn't need any other reason to fight than he wants to keep his artistic materials intact. He doesn't need 'family' as a reason to fight for Marie. Marie shouldn't have been left with any impression other than 'I need to run from these 2 monsters!'

Yes but like the Abyss & Amamiya development Vigo was just pretty sudden. Love is too much an easy way out and even if it was love given how he treats his 'love' it would be more in character for him to obsess over turning Marie into his next masterpiece. The sudden changes of the characters are just being thrown at you without the time or scenes in between needed to make the development credible. Eitherway its obvious that there is a lot of rushing being done here and corners are being cut, and so far its been the character development that has taken the biggest blow.

Most likely when they get back to the past, Maria and vigo are going to meet, when they attack their base. Vigo will want to be with Maria, most likely wanting to create art of her and not made of her. It would be weird if he join and almost always chased her around asking her to pose for him. Also most likely the granny will try to change him for good.
After they stop Miroku, in the present, bonfire is going to escape and create a different future in which a new and more powerful force is ruling the world. Their is also the guy from chapter one guy he is dead in the future but be is not dead in the present he may join her. Their is also the other two guy the one with the best psy and the one with chakram ability. They will most likely be new allies in the present.
Their is also the matter of the asteroid it is the main force for the future of how it is, they are going to have to destroy the it in order to officially change the future and I wonder how they are going to do that.

Isn't Oueoboros the name of the Asteroid, and Sephiroth the name of Mirokus Tree of light attack.

I suppose that is telling us that, Mithura helped awaken the psi powers in Amagi Miroku. Calling out to the wolf or darkplace within himself was the secret behind unleashing the Sephirth attack.

I agree on this one. Miroku is using a life-powered Iron Cauldron to enhance his powers thus enabling him to summon a MASSIVE Tree Of Life that's supposed to kill all the non-psychicers. At least, that's how I see it.

I don't think so. The author conveniently took her out of the picture cause it's been made pretty clear he wants Ageha vs. Miroku to be 1 on 1. Plus she already used her Nova. Not only she's exausted, but we've already seen all we could from her.

2. When fighting Vigo she turns him into tetris pieces.
3. When Marie throws the landscape at her, she defends with a force field.

Personally, even though they are showing her in Mithura's body in the past, I think Mithura is just speaking through the body of Bonfire at that time.
I still believe Mithura didn't physically take over until after the small meteor hit.

I thought that was pretty much the theory about Misura, being the emissary to help ensure the success and facilitate whatever the Day of Rebirth actually is. That the Ourobros meteor IS a Psi creature - along with Misura. However, the question does stand as to whether or not Misura took over Bonfire's body, but I think your theory on that sounds highly plausible.

Also about the tetris block things I believe that is simply Vigo crumbling apart since he merged with the surroundings which Misura has basically been destroying. Though I'm not too sure whether that is an effect of Misura's own defense against it or a product of the the Illumina forge power up:

Though considering how she defended against Marie's own telekinetic attack of hurling the slabs at her it is possible that the tetris effect is actually Vigo's ability.

The question does stand as to what her ability seems to be we know part of it is Telekenesis which could possibly be what she's using as a force field.

Now I doubt that miroku will be the last villain. he is just a pawn afterall. I think Ageha will wake him up sooner or later. Now what will Grana do? I hope he joins the weaker force - Agehas group vs the sepiroth, it seems they might be battle a whole city in one giant being :D

Omg. The meteor calling and the use of the word Sephiroth reminds me of final fantasy 7. Looks like the author is taking ideas from there.

What the author is taking ideas from is the Jewish Kabbalah, with the naming of attacks which so far are named after the 10 sephirot.
I get the feeling that the author really likes messianic stories since he also named mithra after a persian figure with a story identical to Jesus

Yeah, but if you played Final Fantasy VII, you'd know that the villain's (Sephiroth) plan is to summon a meteor to damage the planet, forcing it to heal itself immediately and with a lot of energy, allowing him to merge with the planet, blah blah blah :D!
