I just finished watching the episode and it was not that bad. Too much talking as usual. And the new intro was pretty nice, outro was new too, but nothing special.

Looks like Kubo has been considering the anime when drawing his chapters, since the rest of the arc seems to be animated by now or soon.

Ok episode, talk dragged more than necesary, OK animation. Didn't like how they add a bunch of drama that is not in the manga.

7/10 because the new OP is kinda cool.

The OP started off strange for me. It's like someone was video taping with an old camcorder. As it progressed I tended to accept the new theme. Looks of characters popping up which is great to see. Bleach always does get close to the current manga chapter but this could become the shortest gap we've had. Studio Pierrot will probably have a year long bleach filler whenever they decide to stop the canon material, fine with me, less to watch.

Amazing opening. In the beginning, it really felt like there were some sort of supernatural presences in an average city.

It's easy to forget sometimes that everyone is technically a ghost.

and it looks like it hints all the way to Ichigo's final fight with Aizen.

And for an episode with so much talking, I actually really enjoyed it.

Aizen's face after Komamura stopped Ichigo from freaking out was priceless.

The new opening was rockin', I really really liked it. The ending wasn't bad either. The episode itself, however, I didn't particularly like, not because it consisted mostly of talking, but because I found the animation quality pretty horrible - Komamura in particular looked just damn bad in this episode.

the new opening was great, it looked real snazzy and badass, but the song wasn't as good as Change

the episode itself was okay, next one should be a lot better since its teamwork time!

Right! But I soon as I see the first 10 seconds I was like WOW! Animators took us back to eps 53 song/theme and crushed it. If you think back the theme was Ichirin No Hana(Lone Flower or something like that), and if you notice soon as it starts the first thing happens is the marble that looks like the world is shattered and the flower dies off... For those that read the manga we know what happens to ichigo and know that yeah for the most part you can say his world as he knew it ended. In some ways its sad though cause just about everyone he knows is just gonna disappear, and those that he will be able to be with can't be with him like anything...
I will say this I will be MAJORLY surprised if we get to see the whole thing thru and if we do than maybe one of the rumors is true...
1. Bleach as an anime is about to be over
2. That after the whole Isshin arc is done we are gonna have a couple year jump inbetween leading back to Ichigo fixing fGT and getting something like how Dragonball became DBZ or Naruto went Shippuuden
I hope its 2. cause right now I dont have the spare money to go to Japan and choke execs and kubo...

Gins "death"..long hair ichigo saying Mugetsu or something else...isshin ..urahara even Aizen with hougyoku in chest is shown quickly.

nice episode and i love the way Aizens cockyness is shown ...altho i cant wait for next week when the arc fully kicks off.

so far according to the air dates it goes upto isshin but i see it going up to the end of Aizen arc...then big ass filler as we wait for kubo to draw up enugh chapters in the manga

The animation for the opening was great, but as per usual the song just never seems to fit. I haven't been liking the past few openings precisely for this reason, but enough with that. I enjoyed the ending far more, because it is simplistic in nature, showing us all of the characters involved in this arc. It was nice that they set special recognitions for Rukia, Renji, Byakuya, Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, Nel, and Orihime (the "important" characters).

As for the episode itself, it is very well done. The animation was a bit off in some places, but the fight scenes were fluid. The music selection was also impressive, using some of my favorite themes in between the scenes. My only issue with the episode had to be the 3.5-minute recap from last episode, involving Komamura and Hisagi working together to defeat Tousen.

It's very nice to see Ichigo working together with the different characters to try to battle against Aizen on even ground. I find it quite odd that Gin doesn't bother to intervene at all here; he chooses to distance himself from Aizen's "struggles."

3) I agree with thedarkoneaox. Either the anime is ending after this arc, or we're getting a Bleach Shippuden.

The anime will end when Bleach ends. And bleach isn't ending. They'll probably finish this arc and go to a filler series. They already showed spoilers in the opening. The omake was great with Unohana, 'Skilled in Kendo' haha, she still has yet to fight, so Bleach won't end especially since Kubo promised she'd showcase her skills. Then Shunsui and Ukitake and Shinji and a couple other Visoreds still have to show their bankai's. On top of it all, we need an Isshin back story, another TBTP arc as well, and then the bodies in Szayel's lab! That's a lot of content still left!

We're not saying that the series is ending, just the anime. Which is plausible, because they have ended shows prematurely before. I'm hoping they're not, and just gonna switch to fillers, but ya never know.

Opening is awesome, I like SID and I like the style they used for this opening
Can anyone tell me what kind of art style this is..?
Anyway, the shinji speech gave me the shivers and them backing up ichigo was nicely done.
Ending was kind of weird and off but whatever.

Nice episode...Loved when Kyoraku attacks Aizen and he just throws up a barrier like WHAT? lol...Kyoraku was awesome in this episode...All in all decent...Bleach eps have been pretty food IMO since the Ulq vs Ichi fight....Haven't really seen any horrible episodes since then and that was since episode 265 i think, so Bleach is doing pretty well ATM..
