Well I for one really liked the episdoe.Lots of funny moments, but the fight could a lastet a little longer. Good animation and god ol sound. Iv like the restent filler flashbacks and prefer this over a random plot with random characters. The next ep looks good aswell.

For me was a boring filler... the story is ridicolous, the protagonist reminds me Ichigo from Bleach for the battle position, Sasuke's funny moments are out of characters. It's only a bad mini-filler.

The animation was decent, but, see Inari. In this episode is a total different person and the art of the character it's not kishimoto style. Meh.

Though, I enjoy the ostrich pecks at Naruto and Sasuke on the flashback. :amuse
I hope next week the story progresses even a bit.

The best thing about the episode was the animation in the new ending song. Why can't Naruto fight like that all the time??!

It was an alright filler, nothing too special.
I felt like it could have been inserted in the fillers during the end of Part I, though.

It was an ostrich handling mission that ultimately wandered in and about to a revenge story. Naruto tries to teach a man to extract his revenge, but fails. Naruto and the man understood the whole situation; the death was an accident (not murder) and the enemy was actually covering for his twin brother (who is raising his family). The man sees no point in going through with his revenge, which contrasts Sasuke's increasing obsession with avenging the deaths of his clansmen.

There was some canon to this episode though. When Tazuna asks Naruto where Sasuke is, Naruto covers for Sakura by saying that "he and Sasuke had a big fight and Sasuke left the village for a little while." It does fit Sasuke's theme of revenge, even only implicitly. Naruto tried to help out a man who wanted to fulfill his revenge, but at the same time did not understand the reason for the vendetta or even the feelings of those who wish to endure it.

Naruto admits at the end that he never understood who Sasuke was as a person; he never went through the pain of losing his family. At the same time, he wants to bring Sasuke back to the village so they can all be truly happy.

This episode was pretty lame IMO..Well Naruto on a whole has been pretty lame IMO for a while now and these flashback fillers are not helping at all :|

Ok it was a fine episode.. I wish the fillers will stop soon since I am still hungry for more episodes..

Having said that.. (As a filler), It was excellent but not awesome. well written story and emphasized more on sasuke's character and his revenge. animation was good. Music was cool.

I like the idea that it is not 100% filler that gave me more reason to watch it.

The next episode, although still filler looks interesting. Gaara and Team 7 fighting along side each other will be something to look forward to.

The filler was not worth watching unlike the shippuden canon part. It seems that it will be fillers with a little canon part until Naruto meets the cloud ninjas or get out of the village for the meeting with Raikage.

The ostrich was GREAT. Sadly, everything else was endlessly bad, so the ostrich couldn't save the episode from sucking.

Oooh I want the fillers to end, but the trailer for next ep. looks just like the start for a whole series of fillers :(
