The plot in this filler was lame as hell.
As soon as they stop basing the fillers on canon events, they come up with the shittiest stories, seriously.

And next week we get an episode where Ten-Ten is TEAM LEADER !!!!... if there's one plot idea they could have come up with that was worse than this weeks virus plot, it would have to be Ten-Ten being TEAM LEADER!!!!

Yeah the premise and animation were lame, but it did have funny moments. I did chuckle at the laser-guided dart guns. Ironically, the funniest thing DIDN'T happen in this show. I was waiting for one of those walls to drop and see Naruto having to take on Hinata.

Besides the lame plot and story of the filler, I like canon connections but to be done so poorly..is...poor.

For one, why not just tell Naruto when no one was around that he may have a virus and we need to keep that secret.

2.if naruto can still do jutsus then doesn't he not have the virus?

3. If the virus is risky, why did Shizune and everyone else fight unmasked?

4. Why utilize genin to catch Naruto?

5. Sasuke was sick in bed and was seething for a fight with Naruto during that time if I remember. He got up and kindly kicked naruto out.

6 this is the most annoying, that 8 trigrams security measure, why did they never use that for Oro or Pain?

Overall, this episode was full of comic relief. Initially I would have thought that this takes place after the Sasuke Retrieval Arc (as if I believed it would have fit within that sequence of fillers). However, Sasuke in the hospital was quite a surprise. Again, it seems to take place after Tsunade arc and before the Sasuke Retrieval arc (before or after the events of the Tea Country filler back in Part I).

It was a decent episode, it gave me a few laughs here and there especially with Sasuke kicking Naruto in the rear for intruding his hospital room.

Damn, it's as if ninja in the Naruto universe have access to modern technology. We've had televisions, cameras, monitors, alarm systems, radio communicators, hospital equipment, and now sniper rifles?!

This episode reveals a lot of plotholes. Tsunade uses the village's secret defense (a giant drum) that conjures up walls to fend off the enemy. If this is the case, why in the hell haven't they used it during Orochimaru's invasion? Or Pain's? This is precisely the reason why I dislike filler.


Why do they keep making fillers?

Thats right... They think they are too close... There are almost 70-80 chapters behind the manga...

Too close to manga?! The anime is 64 chapters behind. That is not close at all, in my opinion.

It is close when you have nowhere to put fillers in once you keep going with the story...

If they go back to full canon now, they will only be able to stop it and give the manga a break after Team 7 gets reunited again :\ and THAT is close to where we are now.

I'd rather have fillers now than in the middle of the plot, which would be awful.

Oh my. The Episode reminded me of the episode in the pain arc where the Kyuubi goes all Tom & Jerry and hammers Pain with a big brick into the ground like a nail only to make Pain ask "Do you hate me?". The episode was exactly like that, just extended to a full episode.

What are these guys smoking to bring up such shoddy episodes...

since it is not affecting the main story I won't complain. the plot was fillerly silly hahaha. I dont know why but its silliness gives it some joyful feeling.

-Instead of telling him "you are sick, come to the hospital" they all fight him like retards.
-Instead of shooting this injection into his ass they aim between his eyes for a headshot.
-If Ten-Ten's attack was a success Naruto would have died from the overdose.

Again about the fillers this is the best time for them to put as much fillers out as possible to not catch up with the manga. While there constructing the village (break) they can have a valid and not dumb reason to not cut any action off.

What im trying to say is when it gets to the Sasuke and and Kages part it would be stupid of them to stop at that moment for fillers, it's best for the fillers to happen rite now while the village is being out back together.

Its ridiculous that there have been as many filler episodes as there have, and I swear, I will be so upset if the amount of filler episodes is even close to half the amount of filler episodes at the end of part 1! I just want to see the encounter between Naruto and Karui and Omoi already so I might have a better understanding as to who blocked who.

I hope you are aware that in the original there were 85! episodes of uninterrupted filler and some 15 more among the cannons. As one episode consumes usually 2,5-3 chapters, the logical conclusion is that they need to make 2 filler episodes for every one that is cannon. Originally the manga was many (3+) years ahead of the anime when it started so they could use 2 of those years as buffer. They dont have that now, so the ratio of cannon to filler has to be 1 to 2. It was roughly 1 to 1.2 in the original (120 to 100 episodes). So there went the 2 years. Conclusion - we will have MANY more filler episodes in the Shipuuden than in the original :)

I read your comments for months on the new Naruto episodes and i always enjoyed them because in this forum no one spoilers the plot for an an anime-watcher only like me. So now I finally registered to participate at the discussions. :)

The new episode sucked hard plotwise.. not that i expect too much from the fillers but the later fillers were kinda wellmade so i hoped they've become better.

I think its funny how they made Tsunade look like a retard not being able to give the right diagnosis. I mean she is said to be the best medical ninja on the planet and she cant distinguish between some allergic reaction and this illness? and wtf is everyone in konoha so damn weak that they cant even catch naruto while he's asleep 1000 against 1? :darn

I like these one shot backflash episodes integrated in the rebuild stage we are at.

It feels kinda more natural than lets say the fake kjubi arch, jeez, my head hurst by just thinking about it lol, hehe.

Even if they continue with it for a while to create more space, im all for it.

this anime is really being miss managed. naruto fans having dying to watch shippuudden and now with all these retarded fillers i got to sya the overall demand for the anime is dying down. at least before the fillers were some what cannon related, but this latest arch is doing away with all the momentum and fan fair this series has uilt up over the last decade.
