Serious thread here. Does anyone think Kishi read Blackest Night and went "holy shit I gotta do that" for the current arc?

I don't mean that as an insult, and I loved Blackest Night. It's just funny how similar they are.

Is not that similar to be honest. The blackest night is a great comic indeed I recommend everyone to read it. However don't forget that the idea of resurrecting people would be from Kishimoto first as the first Edo tensei came around a year later after Naruto begun serialization and The blackest Night came in 2009.:amuse

Yeah, but Edo Tensei was imperfect and had just kinda been forgotten for a while. Then all of a sudden Kabuto went "RESSURRECTION HUZZAH" and everything.

Black Lantern Asuma and others will be fun to watch. But hey it brought back Zabuza, I'm not complaining.
