Wow... that's fast... hope Amano sensei keeps that up. This chapter says a lot about Shittopi-chan. She's one honest person, and I guess we can look forward to Gokudera declaring the true meaning of his pride soon. S.P might lose in terms of her reasoning, but given her cool personality so far, she wouldn't stay in disbelief for too long and may even test Goku's honesty. Hope to see some Tsuna action in the next few chapters... :D

And together with the previous chapter, Julie now looks like an outsider who seemed to be only valued by Adel and Enma.


As far as I remember those betrayal of Spade was only portrayed in fillers of the anime... it wasn't really nice to have a ghost hunting or a ghost on revenge.

I would love that ghost on revenge thing to happen. At least that would mean we get to see the rest of the first generation with the tenth! Fandom aside, in this case... yea, based on the manga alone, there's nothing much we would know now about Spade, but after reading this chapter, it feels as though an 'anti-tsuna' campaign seem to be going on.

The last chapters really got me.:) At first it was really good to hear about Lambo's pride. That he really wanted to be in Tsuna's world deep inside him. And now we have Gokudera's pride. It really looks alike the filler test of the Guardians.:) I really want to hear what Gokudera's pride is, but I want to make a guess, that for him Tsuna isn't the ideal person that does everything the best and is the smartest. Yes he may be dumb, may be goofy, may be weak, but what is the most important is his heart. He never holds back to help and protect his friends and family. He doesn't clame to be a boss, but he is a boss according to his actions, especially in the Vongola's First Generation sense. Protector of the Family, his friends and all the people afilliated with them. He is very kind-hearted and dependable. That is what Gokudera really apreciates in Tsuna. At least I believe in this.:)
Also I do think that Shitt P. is wrong in sense that Gokudera doesn't love himself. In fact everyone have this in his character, though he really believe in Tsuna and is proud of him, because of his deeds that he showed during their friendship.:) It is clearly the bond like the one that Giotto and G had.:)

Also the last chapters showed Julie being not only manipulative, but also being like the demon Spade. I really do think that he plays the same role in Shimon family.

Good chapter. My thoughts:

- Like the lighter for Gokudera's new weapon, it's a pretty cool design

- I got worried for a second when they said the goal was popping ballons, but it looks like there's still a battle involved

- I must say I like Shitt. P's characterization. Particularly because loving herself the most is logical and how most people really feel when it comes down to it.

- Was I the only one who thought she was going to randomly kiss Gokudera when she latched on to him? The fact that she said she loves him doesn't really help.

- So we're reminded again that Tsuna's a loser...though I'm really annoyed that he still stalks Kyoko. Is he really that unsure she likes him?

- Of course Gokudera still respects Tsuna because he's....well Gokudera. Hopefully we'll get some solid reasoning this time.

Looking forward to the next chapter!

My first thoughts at seeing the storm lighter was that it was a lame attempt to censure Gokudera's smoking, but then I thought that it wouldn't make much sense to light dynamite with storm flames through a regular cigarette. Anyways, loved this chapter. This matchup between Gokudera and Shitt P. is just so interesting. They have this weird sort of chemistry between them. Plus the fighting strategy was pretty interesting with the baloon popping. Next chapter I hope we get to see a bit more of Shitt P.'s abilities.

I just love the part where S.P said that she loves herself the most. S.P is kinda wrong about Gokudera .Gokudera is different from the Gokudera 314 chapters ago,he understands that (to his boss) his life is important, his definition of 'right hand man' is different etc etc(which everyone should know of).

I wonder what did Reborn meant when he said that Gokudera is becoming the man that he has mentioned. I thought that Reborn meant that Gokudera is becoming the 'right hand man' that he envisioned but i could be wrong though.


It seems like Amano is giving everyone character development during their fights. Its not bad but i'm hoping we will get to see some actual action at the same time. The battle format seems pretty interesting, it will be interesting to see how Gokudera defend against S.P's attack. The weird thing about the rocket bombs is that there isn't any storm flame on its fuse. Maybe the igniter changes the attribute of the dynamite.

Lambo's fight was short and this fight seems to become a short one too which I wouldn't regret at all since the ryohei fight has proven how bad stretched out fights can be.

It was so obvious that Shitt P couldn't demoralize Gokedura by badmouthing Tsuna. However, I do think she is right about one thing. Tsuna's is gokudera's weak spot. I wouldn't be surprised if Shitt P would bring Gokudera into a situation in which he as to choose between his last balloon or Tsuna. If that happens, true loyalty and faith is you go for your balloon

Man I hope Amano dont ditch Gokudera Sistema C.A.I.; Vongola Gear for offense and Sistema C.A.I. for defense would make Gokudera invincible. Also hope Amano make it so Gokudera can switch between Dynamite and Flame Arrow; that would be super awesome.

Was it really ever a question that Gokudera wasn't aware of how Tsuna really acts and the such?

Not really... so using that angle was great to give a more solid connection between Gokudera and Tsuna. But otherwise, it was kinda pointless...

We know that Gokudera is really smart and does his research on things... why would Tsuna be any different from him fully understanding?

What bothers me is the fact that Tsuna and Co. have been running around making a name for themselves and Shimon has supposedly done all of this background research on them and whatnot... but yet with every battle so far, the members of Shimon seem to be shocked to find out that the 10th's family is actually respectable and nice.

I can understand that Julie (with possible outside help) has been warping the Shimon family to suit the greater evil... but as we have seen with Shit P., they have done research themselves (as individuals) on the 10th and Co.

So not one Shimon member is unsure about Tsuna and Co. actually being the big bad Vongola that supposedly destroyed their family generations ago?

anyway... I am getting off on a tangent...

the battles now seem to be much more quick paced... which I am enjoying. I think that the first bout could of benefited if it was similar in length.

other than that... great chapter.

I don't feel that was really something that she needed to state that she "loved" about herself. -_-;

EDIT: Is it me... or does it seem like the mangaka has some kinda thing for giant metallic spider legs? Giving Lambo them and now giving them to Shit P... :blink

I loved this chapter - it combined lulz and plot development, which is not to be sniffed at. And the Pervert Tsuna panel was so epic. Hopefully the battle won't drag on forever, it might take the fun out of it.

Although, logic seems to indicate that if Gokudera wins this fight, the next victory will go to Shimon.

It just me or anyone else have also noticed that the order of the battles is the same than in the Varia Arc? and that the results were just the opposite than in the Varia arc? I mean in VA ryohei won and now lost, lambo lost and now he won if this continue like that now gokudera should win.....

As it stands i don't like gokudera's vongola gear just seems weak in comparison to the other ones we have seen so far and much weaker than his sistema C.A.I, not particularly fond of the way it looks either :(

I’m sure that I am not going to like this fight since the whole battle revolves around hitting a couple of balloons. But I hope Gokudera does win this fight since hasn’t won a single fight, unless consider that he did beat Gamma. I also have a feeling that this fight might be a little draged on since the Lambo’s fight was short. And that P. Shitt ability of the Swamp flame is kind of similar to the Storm Flame. They both pretty much decompose one another. But lets pray that Gokudera does won.

We are almost to the half way point between the fights. Gokudera vs Shitt P is fight number 3 meaning the other 4 are not far depending on the fights and such.

As for the current fight, I say Gokudera will show off a new Dynamite attack and just maybe beat Shitt P. However I think Gokudera has a more likely chance of losing so Yamamoto can get his revenge. I say this because the score would be skewed to the Vongola side if they won all the matches from here on out.

We have these fights left:

1. Gokudera vs Shitt P. Almost finished

2. Yamamoto vs Kaoru Unknown if this will happen due to Yama's condition

3. Hibari vs Adelheid This one is gonna be brutal

4. Chrome vs Julie I dunno what to say about this one.

5. Tsuna vs Enma This one I look forward to the most. Amano sensei teased us with Tsuna's new vongola gear and if Tsuna plans to beat Enma's power over gravity then he needs to have something special ready.
